From the creek side of river nile, bayelsa state, got so much love for igbo amaka. #biafra is the hope of africa. |
anyone can choose not to help, but i won't hide my disappointment esp if i have not done any wrong against u. |
My mum is an embodiment of luv,and that saw her through. now they all look up to her, even her ex regretted. we r talking abt a bro,who is in d capacity to help hundreds grow n actually does dt to others including wife's siblings. wtf |
My mama did not abandon her siblings even when they hated her and advised her to abandon her children when the husband pushed her way. she even saved one of then when she fainted and was pronounced dead. |
if u cant appreciate #20 favor,is it a kidney u wil appreciate? avnt u seen parents disown their children, and marriages dissolve? why not show love to those who show u love irrespective of their background. |
Lol. d point any one of us needed help is over, every one is doing pretty well now. i'm nt d one ans d bad name, huh. it is not me he disappoints but d poor woman who suffered to raise us in luv n unity.u dont wnt to see ur children disunited,do u |
I av seen families grow in wealth n power by love n unity,n av also seen families stunted by greediness n disunity. you can choose ur lesson. |
i am d last born n am of age now, so i dont see who is burdening d other. i am surprised that being an extended family member limits one in dis age n time when pipo help total strangers. |
Refund?! d joke is on you! if ungratefulness and greediness is the new cool to you, then that is ur life. but i know life will not be short of good people, who allow love to reign. At the end of d day that is what matters. |
when life happens, not even ur wife, children, parents, friends,or ur wealth, gurantee happiness. but every good deeds, happy moments with self n loved ones,n strangers, counts. |
it was his sibling who gave him t.p to d interview dat got him d job he has nw. his sibling relationship crashed cos she gave him her b.f savings when he was duped in a bad deal n was in debt. life big pass ur miopic mind! |
Uyi168:do u know if she was abused? |
QuietHammer:Deviant is the word, not norm. |
savio93:Brudah, abeg dey criticise small small now. This is a welcomed development. |
comos:I wouldn't know for sure why they left the igbo regional leaders. But,you will agree with me that the prevalent political instability in the country as at the time, was mainly caused by the Northern NPC party and the South-west AG party ( between the Balewa's and Awolowo's) which were battling for political dominance. Over an estimated 2000 persons lost their lives in the ensuing chaos around 1965 or so,before, during and after the elections. So, it is only commonsense to insinuate that that could have informed the coup plotters actions and their selective focus. But again,I have no authority to deny that there was a political undertone, since basically every region at the time was ethnic driven, and therefore no nationalism. My concern now is the constant hate on the Igbos since we have agreed that the leader of the 1966 coup is a Niger-Deltan (Delta State) by virtue of the present structure, therefore, the Igbos must be absolved of any wrong done; esp. since subsequent coups where not given ethnic coloration. And again, since a lot of us get angry at any insinuation to generalise any crime committed by a few persons of any ethnic group, e.g the few Bororo militia men(herdsmen) as reported in some news,or the Niger-Deltan militancy, then we should desist from calling the 1966 coup an Igbo coup. Criminal elements should be tagged by what they are and not by their ethnicity or religion, since they are only a minimal fraction of the larger citizenry, who are law abiding.#thankruss. |
Simbrixton:Thank you! |
dealslip:Ok. ima enroll in comprehension classes now. |
Tbaby4real:Sisturh, I did not say my prayers made him who he is,and i am not against him taking care of his family. You must agree with me that he did not become who he is overnight or by magic, because someone gave him that chance, that job, that money, that education, and all that. He grew up with his siblings during the trial period, and not with the wife or child. The collective sacrifices made by the whole family can not be over emphasized;while the younger ones starved when the meagre money in the family was used in training him-- nobody complained. The family fostered in love. I believe you didn't come from a poor family with a single parent (mother) who had to take care of over 8 children, without any education or help from anywhere. Do you know what it feels like? It was love and oneness that gave us the courage to forge ahead. Do you know the pain of betrayal that that one sibling can not help you grow? It is not like you are bugging him, but he is waiting to become the richest man kn the world before he can help others. lol. #ps. we are all doing fine now. nobody waits on the other to survive. momma made us all champs. |
Simbrixton:ok. |
Sarkin:Ok. Good luck. j |
Sarkin:Ok. Good luck. just |
dealslip:now i'm confused,sisturh. bye. |
dealslip:now i'm confused,sisturh. |
GidiWoodsMan:What are you saying na? It wasn't as if the igbos had a choice when they were cornered and marked for total extinction after the 1966 coup. I don't know why some of you intentionally distort history whenever the igbos are concerned. Igbos were killed in their numbers in 1947 or so and 1956 or so,too, for no provocation from them. In fact, one of those mass killings of mostly the igbos in the north was as a result of a meeting held in Lagos State in the built up to independence, when the northern elites felt insulted by their south-west counterparts. I understand those occurrences might have triggered the igbo populace to celebrate the 1966 coup, even though the plotters may have not done it in their regard. (We all know that the attendant lack of national unity due to the constant striving between the political parties, esp. northern NPC and AG parties, and the resultant breakdown of law and order, could have prompted the coup). So, in fact, the present hate for the igbos should stop now if we must agree that Delta State and indeed the south south is not part of Biafra, since the state of the leader of the coup has been zoned into south south--now Delta State. Every honest historian must make amend that notion of Igbo coup to reflect present reality. It should now be known as a south south coup; but well,if you still want to be bias,u can always point to the number of the coup plotters who answered Igbotic names. But again, subsequent coup were not given an ethnic coloration. It is your bias if you are one of them. To buttress my point,it has been said that the rampaging herdsmen are a fragment of the Bororo people of the fulanis, and therefore argued that they are not a representation of every law abiding fulani people; and we have all agreed on the rationale of the submission. But,we every now and then we fail to agree same with the coup of 1966. Talking about the present agitations for Biafra, you will agree with me that those things(injustices) that caused the Civil War are very much alive, therefore you don't expect them to keep quiet. If the Yorubas could agitate for separation even at that early stage of independence, and likewise the Niger-Deltans,for purely resources control--how much more reasons do the igbos need to agitate when their lives are constantly threatened, their rights are suppressed, and all that shit? #ps. I am not Igbo. |
King44:North would have been great with their hard work if the yorubas had not handed Nigeria and her oil to them, therefore corrupting their elites. The average northerner has got nothing to do with the state of Nigeria; na d yoruba subservient attitude. |
Fuckster565:unity indeed. d story of afonja is not told for nothing. It took the presence of the white man to stop u savages from wiping off one another from the surface of the earth. |
justtoodark:u can't go to war.. bhuahaaaaa |
Simbrixton:lol. I can imagine how you yorubas n ur AG envied the alliance between the NPC n NCNC. It must have threatened ur existence so much so that u would have peed on urselves if it had continued a little longer. Ño wonder you guys can not stop sucking the balls of the north for fear of loosing this ur position of sufferstication; as long as the igbos r held down,u guys will remain willing slaves. |
