I meant to ask at what point afonjasm stopped and unity started in the yorubaland? cos History is filled with stories of savage yoruba clans betraying and killing one another until the white man came,and have continued in diverse ways up till now. So,i don't get where u get this flimsy notion of yoruba unity from.

Rather you should stop feeling like some emperor cos u had the upper hand in some unfortunate war. We should be talking and debating which ethnic group or state has the most technology breakthrough, which state has the most modern facilities and infrastructures, and all that. The truth is that the yoruba race is the missing part of the equation to liberate Nigeria. They do not want to go and they prevent others.

I have witnessed a case whereby I was travelling with a couple in their personal car,and then we got to a serious traffic jam. You needed to be there to see how the wife was shouting at her husband for allowing other cars to pass them. At a point the husband got fed up and said that she should keep quiet. Next thing from the wife was,"do u ever act like a man except dealing with me,when u allow other drivers to intimidate you?" I just weak for d back wey i dey. firstly, this is an abuse of the military. an insult to the Nigerian military. that the military would be called to a trivial case like this is abhorring. this is a chairman's case.

secondly, the reporter is biased. we do not know what happened really. some igbo men are known to display hostility toward northerners or other tribes who do not speak igbo. they feel superior to everyone and want to get the first seat and they insult people for no reason.

thirdly, this might chase many customers away. igbo men make a lot of cash from hausa customers.

but where is the chairman's presence all along? all customers should know who to report to when they face unfair treatment. the reason this case got to the chairman's office is that the military got involved. would the chairman have paid any attention had the military not come?

the fact is that the chairman allows traders to sell fake good and write fake invoice. many people have fallen victims to onitsha marketers. they all know but they think that they are smarter than everyone else. when one is faced with a case like that only the military intervention is sure.
