biacan:...The kind of men who become women, while feminists become men. If it were the guy who slapped her, you all would expect her to slap back to prove some nonsense feminism shit. Isorarite owntie. |
SoNature:You have your reasons for supporting restructuring, likewise others have for supporting secession. |
Itzonlyme:People sacrificed their time and life to give u this little freedom you enjoy today. It will be selfish of u to not sacrifice for the generations to come, which includes your children. |
SoNature:ur kind just tire me, seriously. "I am for restructuring, but against secession... bla bla bla. who ask u wetin u stand for? If you have a choice, then why don't they, too? |
CodeTemplar:Shut up! Is there any were in Nigeria that is not hostile? |
NwaAmaikpe:bro, use ur head! Na indigenes who were employed staff of the uni. do the protest, not students. Those students were running away to avoid crossfire and indiscriminate arrests. |
Reasonabledoubt:Be like u stingy wella for life! na u sabi. |
Reasonabledoubt:u need calm down. |
post=67768894:yup! |
Elder001:i guess he didn't think it through; he just wanted to give his family the best life he can. but that is the irony. he lost one family while trying to gain one,but has lost both. What I feel abt d ish is that, his love for his new family blinded him while his wife was awoke. Now to d op,if he can complain now that he hasn't started his own family, what if he does now-- what will he do adding the both pressures? From my understanding from personal experience, the Op does not have a good relationship with family, so deep conversations is rare, and therefore understanding is none. |
post=67763058:Your comments are making me emotional. I have elder ones who don't see helping each other as a duty but a burden. I am aware that they suffered greatly to make it,but that mentality is over clouding their thought processes. They believe that since they suffered, you must suffer too and not depend on them. The worst of my elder ones is the most senior. That one lacks the charisma of a good leader as being the senior in the family. |
Elder001:true talk. both d wife n house help he went with disappointed him. Imagine house help too exposure spoil her begin form right? lol. see me here for naija, dey roast. Even if na me go n i abandon am, na still plus for d family o. |
Elder001:I wouldn't knw abt that. we don't get along. My point in the thread is, we should endeavour to help our blood. I understand that most times it ain't easy, but one shouldn't stop. I advise that op try n save up some money at a point he can use to leave the house and still give to the mother to start a small trade. Breadwinners easily get tired trying to bake for the whole family instead of teaching them how to do it themselves. |
Elder001:to n fro |
bobosydney:The VPs will have the right to impeach any incompetent president. In this case, the VPs will be more powerful than the presido; he is just overseeing the government, but major decisions will be made with the consensus of the VPs. And no single VP will have any undue influence as he has only a single vote power,as a consensus must be reached by the entire VPs representing each regions. Each VP act as a check and balance of each other. At the regional level, governors of every state will constitute the regional government, with the VP from the region as a mere figurehead. The governors have the right to fire an incompetent VP. At the state level, local government chairmen control the LG. And they must have greater power to sack the state government for underperformance. Our government should be structured in a way that every unit is made to police the other. It is my opinion that absolute power should go from the people to the LG to State to Region to Central, and not the top to bottom that we have. It is my humble proposal that real governance and responsibilities start from the LG. They should have the powers to control the socio-economy of their areas. And then again, their should be an eagle eye, the peoples court--where rdinary citizens can have their voices heard through this channel. They too can call the shots from there. Resource control and governance must start from the grassroot. |
Elder001:Yup. This was one woman he did everything for, even sacked his family members from his house because she always had issues with them; but her siblings were welcomed. I just tire for d guy. It wasn't like we everyone of us just surrendered our problems for him to solve o. It is just those usual things younger siblings will expect from a big brother. Personally for me,I wasn't expecting freebies,i wanted advice and exposure as a mentor.Dat iz all. |
Elder001:No. Abroad. She even called the cops on him for slapping her. The very first time! |
I have an elder brother who always complained about the little help he rendered for the family. He practically didn't allow his younger ones to stay with him but allowed his wife's siblings. When he got opportunity to travel out,he went with his family--wife and kids. Now,his wife has divorced him and is in custody of the children. He is a big loser now. I don't give a shit about him, likewise other members. I pray i make my own money. This was a bro. we had hope in. We prayed and fasted for his success. Considering our background,we never expected this cold attitude from him. |
madridguy:even family sef dey hardly stay ba diz days. |
Esseite:they are on par with boko boiz. |
3kay945:...not in that fashion. Criminals should be caught unharmed. Test their blood; if pure, draw all the blood from the system and store in a blood bank for patients. And then the remaining chaff could be burnt if desired, and the ashes used as manure by agric students. We should stop wasting wasted criminals in that fashion; they could be meaningful to humanity at that point, probably the only point they make a meaning. |
NwaAmaikpe:It is sadder that they wasted blood in vain which could have been put in blood bank for patients needing blood. |
Some years back, during a yam festival in our kingdom, several married couples were called upon for a competition to receive an award as the best married couple in the kingdom. At the end of the whole deliberations, the award was given to a drunkard and his wife. The people and judges where all astonished that a chronic drunkard could win the award,so they asked the man how they were able to achieve the great fit,and then he replied that it was his wife that made it happen; they asked her how? She then told them how they were able to achieve a quiet and peaceful marriage despite her husbands chronic addiction to alcohol and the nuisance he becomes after getting drunk. After he gets drunk,he becomes very abusive, and so when he gets home and tries to transfer the aggression on her,she keeps her cool. Instead of insulting him and all that typical things a woman will do to her irresponsible husband, she will instead make a hot bath for him to bathe and arrange food on the table. Before he is done with that,he probably gets back to being sober and lively with her. They just lived like that throughout the years without any rancour, not even for once did neighbours hear them quarrel, and not to talk of separating fights.***With time after that award, the man was able to give up alcohol.*** Simply because some people have decided to corrupt the marriage institution does mean that that you can't achieve its beauty. The truth is that, marriage is a beautiful thing. We just need the slay mamas and slay kings to stop giving it a bad name. |
Felixalex:u talk wetin been dey my mind. na lezzing him ex go teach him new babe. |
sexdoll:u big fool! fidi fidi kpo fa. tibi sei kuro fian dengni. Zombie! |
deomelo:guy,na ur fellow zombie u dey yab like dat so? hahahahahaha... wahala! |
obailala:he got hooked somewhere and couldn't unhook it,and therefore the brain got shut off. He should have jumped to the next sentence or paragraph. My colleague had similar issue during project defence when she was abruptly stopped by the external supervisor to explain a particular statement she had made. It appeared she had crammed the speech and so never expected any interruption. |
Even northerners r becoming more creative than the afonjas. Issorait. |
Sirjamo:Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. chai chai chai.... |
samsongbemisola:Those baby mamas don't appear like they were in a committed relationship with wizkid. It must have happened as a one night stand or flings lasting for few days. And he must have given them good money or they voluntarily accepted the banging based on the star boy status. |
sisisioge:Supposing wizkid has spent 4.5 milllion in two years already, then add with the baby mama's 4.5 million naira, that should give us #9million naira. That is a lot of money for a 2years old child. Or wait? Is there a law in the constitution that states that only the father must provide for the child? |
