Politics › Re: Are Igbo's Really Jews? by Ellyptical: 9:32am On Nov 27, 2009
Actually, the igbo folklore says that the igbos originated from the Nri clan, also called the Eris in some transliterations. The Eris settled in present day Aguleri and Umuleri. In Genesis 46:16, th geneology says that Gad begat Eri.
Politics › Re: Isn’t It Shocking To Note That Some People From Eastern Region Biafra Actually by Ellyptical: 10:40pm On Oct 31, 2009
L+G,
While I always saw texazzpete as a man of fair reasoning, I may be forced to see him in another light by virtue of his disposition on this issue at hand. If I am not mistaking, I heard him say that these killings do no happen again in present day Nigeria. I beg to differ. The northerners still go on a killing rampage on the slightest provocation and the government does absolutely nothing to enforce law until the Igbos decide to regroup and retaliate.
While the germans showed remorse by briging all the perpertrators to justice and paying huge sums to the families of the holocaust victims, the Nigerian government went ahead to issue a directive that left the Igbos with N20 for every bank account an Igbo had after the war, irrespective of what you had in it.
That shows how we love to show our own remorse. In any case, the God of the jews has smiled on us and the UN report on the wealth distribution in Nigeria has reported that the south-east is the richest geo-political zone in Nigeria, irrespective of being left with N20 after the war.

On a slightly different note, I hear people saying that Ojuwku was greedy and power-drunk because he declared biafra.
Can anyone show me a loving father that has seen his children being slaughtered like chickens in other parts of the country that would not take desperate measures to carve out a safe haven that he can defend millitarily to prevent further onslaught?

On a final note, year after year, ethno-religious crises claims the lives of Igbos up north. In effect, our existence as one Nigeria is actually a tool that fosters the loss of lives of some particular tribe in the nation. If Nigeria were to split, there will not be cases of people being transferred to the north, going to the north for NYSC or having to go to the north for some official assignment and meeting their untimely death in the hands of bigots.
Split Nigeria. If for nothing, as a measure to save more lives.
The loss of lives is still happening . . .everyday . .with the last being the cold blooded murder of and NYSC corps member in the North! Without this "one Nigeria", that lady corper would still be alive today because she wouldn't have been mandated to go into the hands of people who want her dead in the name of seving a nation that will later end up killing her.
Investment › Re: Oceanic Shareholders Sue CBN, Ibru by Ellyptical: 10:00pm On Sep 05, 2009
L+G,
One thing is sure. There is a master plan which is yet to unfold.
I know for one thing, that th CBN has the obligation not to carry out any act that will instill fear in the public, leading to excessive withdrawals that can affect the liquidity of a bank. For one thing Sanusi has failed in this.
Coming to the public to annouce that a bank which was one of the strongest banks in the country (Oceanic and Intercontinental Bank) is ailing, is the height if demarketing - an offence which the CBN normally punished other banks for.
Oceanic and Intercontinental banks had bad loans but were not in any way doing badly. They only ran into problems when Sanusi went on air to sack the MDs of the banks thereby causing panic and causing people to close their accounts en masse and make the banks run low in capital base.
Sanusi is responsible for the ailing state of Oceanic and Intercontinental bank . .if at all they are ailing now.
Can anyone answer these questions
1) Why is Sanusi in a hurry to sell of these banks?
2) Why did Sanusi have to announce publicly that a bank is ailing? (an offense in banking)
3) Why are the purported buyers Arabian investors?
4) Why are the northern senators kicking against bailing out the banks?

Now here is the grand plan I see.

From day one, Sanusi has been canvassing for foreign takeover of the major banks in Nigeria. This was even as far back as when he was being interviewed by the senate for the position of a CBN governor. One would normally wonder why the only home-grown sector of our economy that is doing well internationally and at home should be sold to foreigners. Is the foreign dominance in our Oil & Gas sector not enough for the north?
The north always complained that Soludo raised the the bar (25Bn) too high for them such that they cannot raise their own bank. They tried to set up Ja'Iz Bank but could not meet up to the 25BN capital base requirement.
The plan is for the Arabians to buy up our already made banks and convert them to Islamic banks. Banks that were built with the sweat of Nigerians.
If this is not the case, why then are northern senators kicking against the bailout for the banks that became ailing because of Sanusi's reckless broadcast?
Unfortunately, Sanusi has met a dead end. Mark my words.
Politics › Re: The Sensible Thing To Do Is To Split Nigeria Into Its Component Parts: by Ellyptical: 4:33am On Sep 04, 2009
If we split up, the issue these will be solved:-
1) The issue of islamic northerners feeling that the igbos and christians should not exist because they are 'infidels'.
2) The incessant killing of the Igbos and Chrisitians in the North.
3) The continuous waste of lives of precious youths who go to the north for NYSC only to get killed during religious clashes.
4) The issue of the north trying to impose islamic ideas (like Islamic banking) and islamise the rest of the country against their wish.
. . . .Rememeber that most european countries . . .whom we want our countries to be like are homogenous. . . made of a single tribe.
Are the above reasons (especially the yearly loss of lives due to jihad against chrsitians) not enough?

Not only Whitaker,
NeYo the Musician
Bishop T.D Jakes are also of Igbo ancestry.
It is said amongst black americans that 60% of them have igbo ancestry. I'll dig up the links and paste later.
Notice that the frequency is a bit high amongst popular people. . . . then think about the general populace.

@ Zango and Kobo,
Until we start slapping you guys that you guys will understand that we do not need you selfish sympathy. If anyone is to be afraid of war, it is we who suffered it. Don't give us reasons to back out of our secession move!
Why are you drinking our panadol for us?
If war is terrible, our elders have told us that it is!!!
Mind your business and leave us to choose the "terrible" war path . . .if need be!

You love us so much but love to kill us in the north. Then let us go so that you wont see us in the north. No! Now you tell us how bad war is . . right?
Is it more devastating than all the killings you guys do in the north which still happen to date? Is it more devastating than the pregnant woman you ripped her stomach apart and smashed her foetus on the mainroad in broad daylight? All in the name of Allah?
Kobo,
I always have this sympathy for you because you don't have this natural ability to choose directions. You are supporting Zango who will tomorrow slaughter us on the north again abi?
In war, people know there is no peace . But in these religious crises, what can you say?
Hypocrites!
Leave us alone. War is Devastating. WE ALL KNOW!!
Thanks!

Zango,
It's only in africa that secession is a taboo. That really gets me thinking. In europe, secession is a very simple and straightforward process. As simple as an election. Why is the case different in Africa?
Kindly get a life. Why do you want to hold a man who can stay afloat with you? Biafra knows it can stay afloat and it wants to let go of any weights so that it can float well but you want it to sink with you that is sinking.
You northerners have been in power for donkey years and are still the poorest of the poor in Nigeria. Leave us alone let us go.

Politics › Re: A Question For Igbos Looking For Biafra by Ellyptical: 7:39am On Jul 05, 2009
All,
Does a woman say that the pains of childbirth is a reason why she will have no child? Losing our belonging in the north is the pains of childbirth. The joy of having a new child soon erases the pain that was associated.
Looking back at how things have gone, I can boldly tell you that in a few years, we will recover what we have lost. After the war, we were left with N20. Today we are the richest tribe in Nigeria! That's the Jewish instinct in us!!
The scavenging northerners will DEFINITELY not agree to any form of MOU that will allow the igbos still lay claim to their property. We will give them to them as the alms that they love to beg for. By so doing we symbolically show supremacy. When a man gives, his hand is placed higher than the man who is receiving - meaning that he is higher.
As for those who are trying to show us reasons why we should not secede, look for better reasons. Jews lost their belongings in other parts of the world. Today, they have progressed far beyond that.
I can see you "love" us so much that you are now reminding us of what we are to lose. Please don't drink our panadol for us. You should be happy that we will leave them for you.
Igbos are arrogant - you say. But arrogance comes with ability and confidence.
Take the houses and the property . . . our promised land is worth more to us than all that!
Obrigado!
Politics › Re: Shell, Leaves The Niger Delta, Mend Strikes Again! by Ellyptical: 11:14pm On Jun 29, 2009
I really think the game is up for the north.
The same north that wants "one nigeria" because of fear or being like Chad and Niger: -

1) Hates seeing southerners in the north.
2) Resorts to killing Southerners any time their is religious provocation.
3) Remains the most economically unproductive region but has the gut to say "Power must return to the North"
4) Refuses to allow the people who generate the nation's wealth to have the seats of Petroleum Minister and NNPC Chairman (amidst all the agitation).

If the North truly wants One Nigeria from deep within their hearts (Without any selfish ulterior motive), why must they always kill southernershuh

Mend!
Move On! Split the Nation! Its loooong overdue.

Ok.
The Israeli PM has accepted to recognize Palestine. The Arab world has still refused to acknowledge Israel.
Israel is not the problem. The land is not the problem. If you airlift all the jews from Israel and relocated them to a fresh empty land, the arabs will still go there to claim the land.

Can you tell my why the Arab League has refused to unilaterally accept Israel even after Israel has accepted to recognize Palestine?

Richyblack,
I really wonder why the blind desperately refuse to see. Why do you Iran supporters refuse to look at facts sincerely?
Has Israel ever for once jumped up and attacked a nation without cause?one who reads your post will think that Israel just jumped up and decided to say "We will bomb Iran".
Have you forgotten that it was Ahmadinejad that one day woke up and made a speech that the nation of Israel should be wiped out of the face of the earth and shortly after that Iran started its nuclear enrichment?

Let me ask you a few questions.

RichyBlacK:
If the Zionist extremists in Israel bomb peaceful Iran, Iran must retaliate to protect herself.
How can you call a nation that says another nation should be wiped out of the face of the earth peaceful?
RichyBlacK:
Iran should also consider investing in military satellites that can watch over the Zionist/Apartheid state of Israel. This will help give the Iranians advanced warning should the extremists go ahead with their nefarious plans of carrying out a first strike against a nation that has never invaded a neighbor in recent memory.
But has recently said that a fellow nation should be wiped out and subsequently began gathering nukes.

RichyBlack,
You reasoning is far below expectation. Even your fellow muslims do not call Iran peaceful. the admit that Iran has some plans but try to justify it some other way. In your case, you are trying to say white is black. Was the Likud party in power when Ahmadinejad made his declaration of wiping out Israel? No!
RIn fact it was that speech that made the Israeli's feel it was time foR A HARD-LINER TO COME INTO POWER.
If anyone should be thinking of gathering satellites, should it not be Israel?
You call Isreal evil right? Because they want to respond before Iran uses a nuke to wipe the out right?
Kindly forward me the results of the last IQ test you took.
My condolences to you.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Israel Not Going To Bomb Iran: Foreign Minister said by Ellyptical: 5:04pm On Jun 25, 2009
Palestine is nothing but an Islamic plot to erase Israel. Most people who call themselves palestinians are Islamic nomads (mostly from Egypt) who were sent out by Imams to go and "re-occupy" Israel since the Arab world has seen that warfare will always bring them to shame when it comes to Israel.
Arafat was born in Egypt. Does that sound like a conspiracy to you?
The aim of Islam internationally is to take over Britain and US. For Britain, they will likely suceed. Britain has officially allowed sharia law. For US?
NO WAY!

As for Iran, what is wrong in preventing a man who has openely declared that he wants to rob from getting a gun?
Its just like someone who is a convict being prevented from holding government positions. You cannot come out openely and say "Why should Mr A. be allowed to contest and Mr.B (who is a convict) dissallowed?"
Iran is a "convict" because of the statement of the president that Israel should not exist.
A convict should should not have a nuke because we know what he is capable of.
Simple!
Again: Even with the nuke, Isreal can still clear Iran in one day. Ask Ahmadinejad what happened to the Egyptian president who made a similar speech earlier - Heart attack leading to his death.
Isreel is Blessed and you just have to accept it. Even the US will struggle to defeat them in war.

Davidylan, Islam is full of lies and deception. Don't waste much energy arguing. Arguements are only worthwhile when it is done with logical, rational and sane people of whom the Moslems are not.

Obrigado.

@Kobo,
My Dear, I have on several occasions explained to you that you seem to have an identity crises but your recent behaviour shows that your case may have deepened. While you are known to always try to move against the direction of general opinion, your recent statement on this thread shows how myopic you can be all because you want to say something opposing what every one is saying.
Do not get me wrong. I admire the boldness is takes to speak against the general view but i detest empty and irrational boldness.
Does the poster in anyway support the killings carried out by the Nigerian police? Does the fact that the police commits such offences justify this case in china? Can you prove that nigerians do not cry for justice when a policeman commits a killing? Did you watch the video of the mob action (that resulted in death) carried out on a police man that killed an innocent civilian near churchgate (if i can still recall) in lagos?
You need to rediscover yourself. You are not yourself. The "you" in you is defined by what the environment is saying., meaning that while you think you stand hard and firm, you are tossed around by the slightest wave - though tossed in the opposite direction.
I can bet that if i open a new thread "Call For Justice : Pilice Kills Innocent Citizen" you will jump out and ask
"Why do we not call for action when a citizen is killed in China.
Once again Tracy,
Rediscover yourlself.
You need a psychologist!

All,
even thought the bulk of the Niger Delta states will not be part of Biafra (and we don't need them) Akwa Ibom is and has always been in support of biafra. Do you know Ojukwu's second in command was Phillip Effiong? From Akwa Ibom. Now once Akwa Ibom is coming along, Cross Rivers will likely one to join. Not sure of that though.
@ All who say Biafra is dead. Lemme get one thing straight into your head.
The Niger Delta which was for one nigeria before, is now threatening that if he north tries anything funny if YarAdua dies (like preventing Goodluck from taking over) secession is the next line of action.
Permit me to say that the Niger Deltans have seen how erroneous their decision to fight for Nigeria in the war was. No one is asking the ND to join Biafra. All we need to is fight together and part ways after we liberate ourselves from these northerners.
When last did I hear a Niger Deltan make fun of the Igbos because of Biafra? No Way! They are now crying the same foul we were crying years back and all we can do now is laugh and tell them "Good Morning, Now you are just waking up!"

Politics › Re: Why Should The North Dominate This Country? by Ellyptical: 6:39pm On Jun 08, 2009
One thing is obvious. The days of northern domination is OVER. The fact that Yar'Adua is in power does not mean that the rest of the south is not fed up with the north. Let the north try to hold on to power after Yar'Adua's full tenure and see if this nation would not erupt in violence.
For the south-south that once looked upon the Igbos as rebels to openly call the north a parasite? That's a writing on the wall.

When the Biafrans fought to be liberated from the domineering, cold-blooded and backward north, we were tagged rebels. Today, what we the Biafrans foresaw in the 60s is what the Niger Deltans are just seeing in the new millennium.
As Ojukwu said . . . . .Niger Delta . .GOOD MORNING!
