I've been stuck at WES verification since February, after several back and forth, the school decided to respond last week.
I expected WES to update my status with a completion timeline, however, my status simply changed from awaiting verification to "we are processing a new package or document for your application".
Is this normal? Should I reach out to WES? Especially since I already lost valuable time on the verification stage.

It's normal after few days it will change to "our experts are checking for authenticity of the document" "we will notify you if we need further documents or give you approximate completion date"...

It's possible, a local flight usually have 6 crew members, whereas a 14-hour trip to and from China would require at least 4 pilots, 10 crew members, health officials would have to been on board also to monitor the supplies that they brought in with the Chinese

Hi, I hope you are aware that WES will evaluate your wife's LLB as a four year bachelor's degree and not a "professional degree" that would give you points equivalent to masters? If not, you may need to wait for IQAS to open their portal for new application and do another assessment with IQAS for your wife. Pleasee note that I have a friend whose application was refused because she used WES but claimed point for "professional degree". She has submitted new docs for vic's consideration but nothing for more than one month now. However, all of the above would not matter if the WES evaluation of your wife's LLB as four years Bachelors Degree will not impact your potential scores by making it lower than the average CRS score being released by cic nowadays.

We are claiming 2 certificates with LLB and BL...

I don't think it applies to everyone but I had similar experience, though I'm not a lawyer. Sometimes, they would just decide to request for yet another verification from your school.

It can be frustrating but you have no choice than to get back to the right quarter for a re-reply. I hope your school won't act like mine by insisting that they have replied the earlier verification mail sent to them and that they are sure the mail got delivered. Until, I decided to screensnap my timeline where the "Awaiting Verification" reflected, I couldn't convince my school.


Please act now to avoid further delay of your wife's ECA completion.

Please anybody who has used WES for law school help me out ooo. Wes accepted wifey's verification from law school initially and today they accepted verification for LLB only for them to change initially accepted verification for BL to "awaiting verification " . I called them immediately and I was told it's a secondary verification. Is this how it's done? Help a brother

You evaluate your certificate separately.
You will evaluate your highest qualification which is PhD and waec/neco is no longer required

Send your certificate via hellofax.... ensure your reference number is inscribed on it. Type hellofax on search box on how to do that

Both should be evaluated. It's only master's, professional degree and PhD that would give you maximum points that you can evaluate alone

I used a wrong first name and last eveb DOB to register. Ever since then I haven't been able to change it or get a new passport.
I has hampered me from travelling after having numerous opportunity.

The problem is just that i dont think its the same number on the lost one and this very old one.

It was before the ecowas passports i did this one, so they gave me a new number.

Now, the issue is that i am concerned, what if i go to them and try to do a new one and they discover my records in their system?

Thats what am currently concerned about.

And i need to have a passport more than ever before


Can i apply for a new one?

If yes, wont they discover i had one before and feigned ignorance?

You can't do a new one... once you do your biometrics, your data will come up. This is the info you need to retrieve the passport number
1. Your names
2. Date of birth
3. Place of birth
4. Place of issuance.

With that you will retrieve it. You will now do police report and court affidavit for the lost passport then apply for replacement.

The renewed passport is now lost.

And i cant remember its number again so i can file lost affidavit and police report to obtain another one.

But i have the oldest one with me. Since like 2005 version.

My question is

Can i simply renew this 2005 passport instead of applying for a new one?

Nope... you can only apply for lost with the newest passport number. They can get your lost passport number for you since you have all the information on the data page. You can pm me for further assistance

Its not the address... it's the delivery method. Use normal postal service instead of courier service.

The highest qualification is applicable to master's and PhD. In your case you're going to evaluate PGD and Bsc

this Canadian immigration system has like 4 or more options I dont know why all of you just like the Federal level, there is PNP, OID, SINP, AIPP and the rest I think there is still Expression Of Interest or so. I'm waiting for my spouse ECA before entering the pool also. I have mine and I'll be writing IELTS by February. Hoping to max out and with spouse's 7777, we'll be on 468. As an immigration officer, my noc is not in demand. My other noc as construction engineer has been side hustle . What would you have me do?

Osogbo is the best bet... abeokuta is just an extension of Alausa. You can therefore explore Ikoyi passport office but they have to go with NIN as they're issuing only new booklet in ikoyi and it's costlier than old one. Ikoyi won't take up to a month as the new booklet is readily available

How did you get a reference number without payment?

Just click on western union option when you get to payment... your documents won't be attended to if you haven't paid though but you can get the reference letter and start processing your transcript with it.
