I think it depends on the school. Mine did not request for anything other than my deposit.

And in addition to this,will the school refund the initial tuitIon deposit paid??

Your student visa application success is not based on your previous travel history but rather you fulfilling the requirements of the visa. Student visa is a point based visa - travel history or not, you need to get the points complete and travel history is not part of it.

Uk is easier and faster but Canada has better prospects. You can read through the thread to know how to go.about it. I would suggest you do your application yourself for either of the countries. All the best.
