Even if the new passport was not accepted during the biometric she can still get the visa issued on the old passport but she has to carry the two passports when traveling

Good morning,justwise and other gurus, Is it possible for my wife to use her about-to-expire passport to apply for visa online, and go for biometrics with a new passport. Her passport is not yet ready, but am hopeful that it will be ready before she go for biometrics.Hope the different passport numbers will not be an issue.Can she submit the new passport for biometrics? The ECO has requested for the evidence of maintenance for herself and her spouse for those dates to ensure the funds were not recycled and that the POF were not fake arrangements made these days


We will keep seeing more of these request to tackle POF fake arrangements, borrowed funds or as people call it "run POF"

She should provide the documents requested or sit back and wait for a refusal

Don't even try renew passport on nigeria. As long as it's uk you will enter. Once in mostly you need is your biometric but book in your passport renewal immediately you enter uk

Hi,just a question on my mind.Can someone already granted UK study visa ,but has a passport validity of about 5 months be allowed to board flight by the airline to the UK,and hope there won't be issue at poe?,as it's somehow difficult to renew the passport now.

I know the UK does not bother applicants about passport expiration issue but this is very close, that passport may expire while the visa application is still under consideration.

You left this too late, well you can add evidence of passport renewal and hope for the best

From a park at Ibadan, take a Lagos bus that passes Ojota (Lagos). Drop at Ojota park (the driver will probably drop you at Total filling station), trek a bit forward and take a yellow bus to Maryland (N100 or N200 due to fuel scarcity). Drop at that Maryland bustop, trek a bit forward to the 1st turning on the right. Take a yellow bus going to Ikeja (probably N200) tell the driver to drop you at Abule busstop. You will see a big brown building with people mingling around on the first turning after dropping from the bus. That's your destination.

I dont have an idea about a cheap hotel. I slept at a friend's place a day before my appointment.

Passport return service will be ideal if it is not convenient for you to pick it up yourself

In terms of reliability they should be because they carry your sensitive document, but people have actually had different experiences with courier so it's not a one size fits all

On TLS for the cost of this is N9k(unless otherwise).You can add to your cart and pay or pay for it when you get there
