Thanks bro habhidhemhii: Oh Okay. The student copy of the transcript is usually enough. I can't say why they're asking for anything else. Again, communicate with the school about these requirements.
You can get the scratch card online. |

Can I get the scratch card at waec office, ibadan? habhidhemhii: You have to get your transcript somehow. For your WAEC, they probably want you to upload scratch card details so they can verify. Why not contact the school to be sure? |

Thanks for this .So,I was at GTB today, I had to do a kind of re-opening of account, after that, I filled a form to link my bvn to email, unfortunately, the network was not stable ,so ,the teller said he would link it that I can go? My question now is this, is there a way I can know or confirm that my Gmail has been linked to my bvn ?Thanks Visionare: Obviously, you have to go to GTB. Whether the account is dormant or not shouldn't be a problem but just to play safe, take along with you a means of identification, utility bill and the likes. They may want to ask you to reactivate the account before they do anything on it.
Enjoy! |

Plls shed more light on this, I did my bvn with gtb when I was an undergraduate, but am no longer usingthe account again,am sure the account is even dormant by now, am now using first bank and fidelity. Will I visit Gtb or first bank for my bvn to be linked to m Gmail account? Thanks Visionare: Kindly visit any branch of the bank where you did your BVN. They are the only one who can change it. Visiting other banks will only have them change the email of your account with them; not the one on your BVN.
Enjoy! |

Thanks for this, but how can I link my Gmail to my bvn?Am not sure my bvn is linked to my mail. Mattmich: Form A Update Form A is an application form designed by the Central Bank of Nigeria to pay for service transactions (invisible trade). Form A is electronically done and does not require your presence. Form A is the cheapest means of payment for international students. Form A is not really easy and it is always advisable that applicants start on time as it may take about 15 working days or more and the processing time depends on the bank. Some banks may take about 30 days or more depending on the already existing queue.
NB: Form A is not only for new students. Returning students abroad can use it.
[b] FORM A A SERVICES The prevalent services it’s utilised for are:
- School fees
- Medical bills
- Training Courses
- Mortgage and others
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR FORM A
1. Offer letter 2. Degree Certificate 3. Invoice from School 4. School bank details 5. Letter of Authorization to withdraw (may be typed or hand-written containing your signature) 6. Passport Bio page 7. Student's ID card (returning students) 8. Residential Address (returning Students - not quite necessary) 9. BVN 10. Your Gmail must be linked to your BVN
N/B: If you fail to provide any of the above documents, you will be rejected. Again, CBN charges N5,000 per form A transaction.
Stages Involved in Form A
1. Adb_Reviewer: This is a bank officer who assesses your submitted informations and if deemed correct, will recommend for Approval.
2. Adb_Supervisor: This is also a bank officer who Approves the recommended information by the adb_reviewer.
3. Adb_disbursment_reviewer: This is also a bank head office officer who assesses the required recipient's details and the amount required to process your application. If he finds everything satisfactory, then debit is processed.
4. Adb_disbursment_Supervisor : This is the final stage. The bank officer do verify and confirm the debit and term your application successful.
NB: Some banks may leave your application on ADB_DISBURSEMENT_REVIEWER level even after transaction is completed. It's not a problem at all. All you should bother about is your TELEX copy which serves as an Prove of payment.
Again, Form A can be processed from every part of the country but you must be a Nigerian.
Down Points
Form A is not the only source of payment. There's black market whose rate is not friendly but is faster. Form A is a secured means but it might take time depending on the processing bank. Again, there are some charges outside CBN and Tuition fees, it's advisable to have extra N15,000 because it was my experience.
Note: Starting your Form A journey on time is an advantage. For tuition fee around £4,000, you can save upto N900k using Form A.

Many thanks for this write-up, it was helpful. But ,what if an applicant doesn't perform well at the Pre-cas questionnaire or credibility interview (God forbid),will the school refund the initial tuitIon deposit paid? What should we expect and prepare for the Pre-cas interview.kindly put me through. NaughtyBrainiac: Hello Chiamaka and others that need this,
Let me make your work easier.
1. You apply to schools using:
a. Your first degree certificate ( BSc or HND) b. Transcript c. Biodata page of International Passport d. CV e. Referees f. Statement of Purpose
2. You are offered Conditional admission or Unconditional admission ( Conditional in most cases). For Conditional, you will be requested to provide some additional documents in order to get Unconditional offer. e.g Official Transcript, Scratch card to confirm your WAEC Engish Language grade online etc
3. You will make Tuition deposit payment if you are okay with the school. This can be done via form A or by paying using a domiciliary account debit card. Form A is cheaper but takes between 3 weeks and 10 weeks. For a Tuition Deposit of £4k, you can save up to N900,000 if you use form A.
4. You will go for Tuberculosis Test at IOM. There is Lagos center and Abuja Centre. The cost is N57,800 for 11 years and above. N21,320 or so for children below 11 years.
5. There's something called Poof of Fund. This is your Tuition Balance + Living expenses in the UK.
Living Cost for London: Main Applicant is £1334 × 9months Dependant is £845 × 9months
Living Cost outside London: Main Applicant is 1023 × 9months Dependant is 680 × 9months
Let's calculate POF for a student outside London with Total Tuition of £14 and Tuition Deposit of £4k. Remember that POF is Tuition Balance + Living Cost £10,000 + £9207 = £19,207
To get the naira value, you use the OANDA currency converter. Just search OANDA on Google.
Using an OANDA rate of Let's say 510 naira per pound, we have 19207 × 510 = N9,795,570. You can approximate your POF to be N11,000,000.
This means that you must maintain a minimum of 11m in your account for at least 28 days before you apply for visa.
6. After Tuition Deposit Payment is confirmed by the school, the school issues Unconditional Admission Offer after you must have provided required documents.
7. You begin CAS process by undergoing Credibility Check. This is a check conducted by the school to confirm if you are a genuine student. Some schools call it CAS questionnaire, Some call it Pre-cas interview etc
8. If you provide satisfactory responses, you will be issued a statement or document called Condition of Acceptance for Studies (CAS). This is somewhat the most important document in this journey. It is what shows that a licensed school is sponsoring you to school in the UK. [b]If your responses are not satisfactory, you will NOT be issued CAS and your admission offer will be withdrawn (you will be given more than one attempt)
9. Visa Application.
You will be scheduled for biometrics( Not visa interview) after filling the online application form and paying IHS and VISA fees. IHS is Insurance Health Surcharge for your health insurance while in the UK. IHS is £705 for one year per person Visa is £363 per person
There are 3 centres for biometrics capturing in Nigeria. Abuja TLS, Ikeja TLS and VI TLS
10. Travel to the UK after visa is issued.
This is a summary of A-Z process. Sleep don dey catch me, I wan go sleep
