Marriedatlast:Well then, welcome to Nigeria. ![]() |
Well we have heard your friend's side of the story by proxy, how about the husband's side of the story ![]() I know that some men are worse than beasts, but it's a hard sell that the woman is completely innocent, especially as the man is rejecting the unborn foetus. Whatever the case, let your friend involve her lawyer and sue for custody of the child. It will help if she can covertly record her husband telling her how he plans to send the poor kid to the village, and then use the recording in court.(if it's allowed). |
Sorry for your loss. It'll be easier to bear as time goes on. Time really does heal wounds. Your kids may not appreciate your firmness with them now or your struggle to put food on the table, but they will when it matters, when they've grown up. Please raise them right, spank them when need be and hug them a lot unconditionally. I pray you reap an abundant harvest from your toil on them. Keep your chin up and smile dear, daybreak is around the corner. ![]() |
Your post is simplistic and devoid of real mental gymnastics. China's economy is being driven by its immense population, likewise India and the USA. Here in Nigeria, we would rather hang the blame of our inefficiency on unrelated matters. China's population is over a billion, ditto India. Nigeria's population is just 150million and we are shouting. The same way some people will shout that Nigeria is too big to be governed but forget that there are states in the United States that are way bigger than Nigeria in landmass. Our population is an advantage, only to a government that knows its onions. |
ghostmode4ever:Ummmm... Op, do you really think an anonymous letter on a faceless forum cuts it? It seems you haven't yet grasped the gravity of what you did. What most people don't understand is that even after forgiveness, there's still the punishment that goes with it that you have to pay. You don't believe me? Ask king David in the Bible. Your Karma is coming for you dear. Take it like a man. |
Captainbells: ![]() So funny right? When everybody's nose is permanently stuck in your business. Anyway, Marriedatlast, you're welcome to Nigeria where the hospitality, smile and embrace of the people are as warm as the weather. I'm sure you won't regret it. Look for a good neighbourhood to settle down in and you'll enjoy it here. Oh BTW, watch out for those pesky mosquitoes. Malaria is a real phenomenon here. Enjoy your stay. |
Though I love twins so much that I'd love to have them, yet I'm glad I'm not a twin. I can't imagine looking at someone else and seeing a carbon copy of myself like as if I was looking in the mirror. I'd freak out. |
Really feel for the poor thing. Pele. I hope she gets over the trauma and lives a normal life after the surgery. It's like we Africans have a huge problem. We had to wait for a medical team from the NETHERLANDS to give this girl succour. What can we do without the help of the white man? I wonder. |
Meanwhile somewhere in Nigeria...

In a way I agree that Igbos be allowed to go (I hope no moderator will come and ban me for this, I'm just stating my opinion). The way in which the so-called IPOB group is going about this is quite barbaric and that's why they don't have the sympathy of most level-headed people. Anyway, I'm of the opinion that a clause be inserted in the constitution for secession, a referendum conducted so that we can be sure and then the results strictly followed. A people shouldn't be held against their wish. But we must be sure that majority want to leave. |
CorGier:I dash you. |
CorGier:I pity your daughter. |
niyi123:Lol. She's dashed all her essence as a woman to boyfriend already, name shaft go remain for husband to chew. |
Millerz:OK. |
khSteel:What backlash? Are you training to be a stand-up comedian? Your own go be sit-down comedian or gtfoh-comedian. Speaking of backlash, I think you guys have forgotten so quickly the lashes of cane your Igwe endured in Akure in the palace of the Deji. Kwantinuuu... |
ScienceWatch:Haba! Master! Don't tell we your shidren that you don't know the meaning of the name of our shorsh? ![]() |

PDJT:Why do I even bother sef. Persecution complex is in your genes. It's a part of your genetic make up so you won't understand what's wrong with the statement we're trying to correct. |
Hmmm...seems interesting. I'll bookmark this and read when I'm less sleepy and my brain can process faster. ![]() |
Senility dey worry baba. |
PDJT:Harrasment of your people? Who are those doing the harassing? Aren't they Igbo police recruits? It's plain victim mentality, persecution complex. |
freeze001:Are you OK or are you rehearsing for a special performance of your persecution complex to the world? Who are the policemen extorting you? Aren't they Igbos? Who is subjecting you to inhumane treatment? You are a funny human being walahi. |
[quote author=zendy post=51653881]Ojukwu fighting for president of Nigeria? The same Ojukwu that was declaring his people independent? What did you smoke? Why wont he head to Lagos? The Nigerian Army was heading to Enugu, Capital of Biafra so why wont Ojukwu head for Lagos, Capital of Nigeria? Nigeria used starvation as a weapon of war, today, it is a war crime to do that.Ojukwu cornered the food meant for your people. Check war pictures, you'll see Ojukwu and family looking robust while y'all starved to your deaths. Why would you go to war and expect your enemies to feed you? Are you guys really that slow? Ojukwu should show compassion and diw with his people? Why? Is that what Igbos sent him to do? He was sent to fight for freedom and he did that for 3 years, he didnt succeed, he left. Theres no shame in one fighting for freedom and Ojukwu staying back to die would not have added any value to anything. So him dying would not have added any value to anything abi, but 3million of you can die like fowl no problem, right? I see. The real shame is the rest of you who surrendered to the North without a fight. While Ojukwu was fighting to liberate his people, you guys were a$$licking the North to avoid war.Surrendered to the North how? Who surrendered to who? I'm wondering what history books Igbo urchins are being forced to cram in the east. I have to get a copy. Does the bolded make any sense to you? ![]() |
tobiasbeecher:Neither am I interested in a back and forth with you. But since you have eye problem, here's a quote from my post. Are you aware there are almost as many Igbos in Yoruba land than there are in Igbo land itselfI'll leave you who are "intellectually unlimited" to figure it out. Take your time and seek for help from others. Oh by the way, in the process you may wanna pick up a dictionary from your local bookstore and check out the meaning of rhetorics. ...you are welcome. ![]() |
