Lightening:Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a veteran politician. Most people think he speaks for all Yoruba people but he doesn't. Yorubas will respect him because of his age and listen to what he has to say having at the back of their minds that politicians only serve their self interests. If he speaks well, we accept it, if not, it's discarded. Simple. If Tinubu was truly leading Yorubas Oyo state won't have a PDP governor, Ondo state until recently was under Labour party, Ekiti under PDP etc. The Yorubas are educated and enlightened. This isn't their first rodeo in building and running states even way before the colonialists. Awolowo, the late sage was the only one so far that can be said was the leader of all Yorubas at that time, yet he had his own opposing voices. Fulani or no Fulani, Yorubas will always survive and thrive, no doubt. |

They are the chief security officers of their states only in name. The whole security apparatus belongs to the federal government headed by an old ethnic and religious bigot. I think this is where the OPC should come in and run the fulani herdsmen out of the West. As for Fayose, he got what he deserved. He was an absolute failure as a governor. EFCC went after him because he is corrupt and not because he stood his ground on herdsmen issue. If he was a good governor, people will rally behind him for leadership. How I miss Gani Fawehinmi.
