DrogoG:I Hope you are at the forefront of this struggle on the battle field and not in Lagos typing on Nairaland. |
PointZerom:And who is holding you from leaving the southwest to your hometown? |
Please and Please for God's sake can we give them their Biafra already? It will be a blessing to Nigeria. |
Nnamdi Kanu is drunk on the adulation and worship of him by his people. The same thing that happened just before the civil war to another young man, this time, a military officer who kidded himself that he was fighting for his people yet was pushing his troops towards Lagos to capture the seat of the Nigerian government for himself. In the process, he sacrificed over a million of his people on the altar of greedy ambition and abandoned the rest at the peak of the war, fleeing to Ivory Coast, scared of the same death he had served his people hot. Now, a repeat is about to happen. Nnamdi is being worshipped by fans who think they are ready to die for him. He leads them on a wild goose chase, selling an unrealistic Utopian Biafra to the emotion-laden followers, who have been told by earlier generations How close they were to getting their own republic having fought gallantly. I pray Biafra is achieved because Igbos deserve Biafra and Biafra deserves Igbos. |
[quote author=ImperialYoruba post=60394278] The Omoluabi concept in Yoruba philosophy is about upholding truth, justice and uprightness of conduct.Agreed! There are instances when a confrontation is self-provoked. There are other times when a confrontation is deliberate act of impunity and injustice.Ok...? If Yoruba was in power Kanu will not be going through this flagrant abuse. Kanu does not own Iboland. The indigenes own the land. Why is FG occupying and terrorizing indigenes over their land? This is sheer human right abuse, no other way to candy coat it.Lol. You're naive. Kanu does not own Igbo land. Why are the people supporting him? The ediot is raising an army everybody is quiet. When kasala bursts now blood of hyena and baboon will now soak Igbo land, then people like you will still come out to blame Yorubas for not warning the Igbos that what they are doing will cause violence and bloodshed. Is the FG supposed to wait until they declare war and drag a whole tribe into needless bloodshed? Lets even assume that Kanu should be arrested to preempt trouble. Isnt that police job? Why deploy a battalion to arrest one man?Like I said, you're naive. Someone is establishing illegal parallel government and raising an army and you want the police to...what again? Tell me, what's the duty of the Nigerian Armed Forces? Did I hear you say to defend the territorial integrity of the nation? Maybe you weren't aware of that. The agenda and the theater of show of force is a proactive calculation towards a much bigger goal. They are using Kanu to rehearse and polish the process. It will be the turn of another twon soon. They want to turn South into a hot zone and kill off the debate and talks on restructure.#sigh. Tell me, If you were the Nigerian president and a tribe in the north starts planting foreign flags on Nigerian soil, forcing people to sing their new anthem, forming a parallel government, WHAT will you do? When bullets are flying and soldiers are conducting house to house search in Ilorin, Ife, Iseyin, Ondo, Benin, Warri, Yenagoa, Asaba, Awka, Umuahia, Owerri....who will have time and mind to speak in favor of restructure? Nobody!Let them do that first, then we'll know that everything has gone to Hades then. But until then, the military is on point. As long as there's a Nigerian republic, then Kanu's actions are nothing short of treasonable felony. Silence over this matter in Iboland is totally unacceptable. It is repulsive....this is cruelty!Oh Yeah...? You never "chichumchin". |
Drogbs:See mumu talk o. Ok fine. At least you mentioned two Yoruba men who you called "cream of the civilized blah blah blah" Because they fought the cause of the Igbos, now mention just one Igbo that fought for the cause of any other tribe in Nigeria, not even for the Yorubas. I see you're beating that torn drum of "Yorubas are cowards" that your parents told you. Do yourself a favour, go and meet your elders in the village and ask them to list the names of political and human rights activists this country has ever produced since independence and then ask yourself where are the Igbo names. |
Ngozi123:Do I really need to point you to the YouTube videos of Mr Nnamdi Kanu where he was calling for weapons and arms donations as well as urging Igbos to get prepared to massacre Yorubas and Hausas? So far the only people beating war drums are the Igbos and I think they are trying to compensate for the Biafra war loss. |
GrandGarcon:Good to know. |
Ngozi123:Nobody is scared of secession. So using secession to threaten any group will always fall flat. The Northerners have been singing the secession song even during Nnamdi Azikiwe's time. Nigeria's unity is highly debatable. But How we part will determine future relations among the resultant countries. Your people are beating war drums and I keep saying there are better ways to achieve this than violence. I Hope you'll remember this convo when it all happens. |
GrandGarcon:Look, what's stopping you guys from seceding really? If all Igbos leave other parts of the country, recall your national assembly members and stop collecting fg allocation, then you are on your way to having your own country. Advocating for violence won't get you there. Talking about it on NL won't get you there either. |
desreek9:Appeal the ruling ofcourse. You don't expect him to go down without a fight, do you? |
[quote author=robotix post=60342337] foolThis is your first name. , in all of these, you didn't say anything about the fulani killing neither did you mention that same military might be unleashed on them. You guys make me sick to my stomach...You may need to borrow you grandfather's glasses and read again. So the fulani should be let to go scot free while a group that has not killed anyone be terrorised. Nope. The Fulani herdsmen killing wantonly should be dealt with severely. Also, we shouldn't wait until IPOB starts killing before we nip it in the bud. We will see where all these will lead all of usIt can only lead to more massacres of the Igbo people, unfortunately. ... I believe the total break up of Nigeria as predicted by US was meant to be Buhari's schemeYou believe rubbish. But.then, what do you know? Anuofia...And this my dear is your family name. |
GrandGarcon:Clearly the two Igbo groups are different. "Ohaneze ndi ara" are the elders who benefit from one Nigeria while the ipob are the jobless, illiterate youths whose lives have been mortgaged by their elders. This second group are in desperate need for a saviour and father figure hence Nnamdi Kanu. Most of you sit in your village in the east and dream of the day when your kinsmen will vacate the north and west. |
[quote author=Cyynthia post=60343294] Just look at what you are typing, bla bla bla. With the above I can understand why Ojukwu and now Kanu can take you guys for a ride with half-baked propaganda. Again, I saw where you wrote that if Ibos want to leave, they should pack all their loads and go back to their region. Is this what they taught you about secession ?And what were you taught about secession? You hate the Hausa people so much But you can't help going to their region. What does that say about you? All I see is a clueless people yelling Biafra even though they have No intention of living in that country. I think you are seeking for an attention.Attention from you? If you haven't noticed dear, this is a faceless forum. What exactly will your attention give to me? |
rainylad:Nothing intelligent in your response. I expected more than name calling. But I Guess you've been programmed to yell "Afonja " anytime you run into a superior point of view. |
Congratulations to Southeasterners, your territory just got occupied by military forces. The next step of the federal government is to declare a state of emergency in the east. |
Chigorkizz:Who says we are taking you serious? More like being entertained by you really. |
[quote author=robotix post=60336621] Everybody is watching how injustice and partiality is being meted towards us. When you say "us", who do you mean by "us", because so far, the military isn't killing any innocent person who's abiding by the law. I am not a supporter of Nnamdi Kanu's method of agitation but I will not stand and watch injustice go on. My own is my own and I have to make this known, I have hated the entire North already... thanks to Buhari and the yorubas will be next if nothing is done to call Buhari to order.I'm sure the North hates you too. That's probably why they gave you an ultimatum to vacate the north. I'm surprised you rejected that opportunity to prove to the world How much you hate the northerners and show us that you really don't need Nigeria. The yorubas have been watching while injustice is going in the country without saying anything... Fulani Herdsmen have been killing but no tank or military actions on them...No, the Yorubas won't fight your fight for you. You are the only ones in Nigeria wey get muscle. We will be watching the fight on our phones, thank you. Kanu is uncouth, he talks any how, but most of what he says is the truth... nothing but the truth. What is true about soliciting for arms and ammunition to kill the Yorubas and Hausas? Why would the army go to his compound for no just reason?Uhm...Because he's raising an independent army in a democracy? Duh! Everybody is watching and you think the entire igbo nation will fold their arms and watch injustice... except the same military is called on Fulani herdsmen that has been killing and maiming innocent people, I will not stand and watch injustice go on.I agree, the military should also face the Fulani herdsmen and halt their senseless killings as well as face Nnamdi Kanu and halt his stupidity before he pushes his kinsmen off a cliff. Make no mistake. If anything happens to Nnamdi Kanu, I will join in killing every Northerner I set my hands on... anywhere in the East.I'll best my last cent you can't even kill a chicken. The only murder you've probably done is on video games. Real life is different from video games. Wake up! Nnamdi Kanu was in prison for more than a year, what did you do? NOTHING! |
Ngozi123:@bolded, you really believe that? Then I'll say you're gullible. When the quit notice was handed down to you from the north, who do you think cried the loudest? Your people. Come and see high level of lobbying from the East, elders wailing like cry babies. You were given a way out, you started crying. Come, what do you guys really want? Violence? Don't fool yourselves with that handful of skinny guys in black parading as Biafra Security Service. When sh1t hits the fan it'll be every man for himself. |
The best thing that could ever happen to Nigeria will be the exit of Biafrans. Truly, Igbos deserve Biafra and Biafra deserves Igbos. |
sarrki:The proper response to that would have been "Thanks for the correction". No one knows it all. |
Nukualofa:you are most welcome. |
cherr:Tribalist? |
Crass ignorance is when you pick a king and label him "the oba of Yorubas ". Intellectual kwashiorkor is still a disease nonetheless. |
Thawarplay:maybe you should put it in my account while you think about it. I've heard that frog farming is a lucrative business. Just imagine the two of us farming frogs and exporting to China. Hehehe... |
Go into cat farming. Lol. Just kidding. Catish farming. |
I'll keep saying it. These guys don't deserve to be in Nigeria. They deserve to have their own hate-filled, bile-infested republic and Let them wipe themselves off the surface of this planet. At least, that will be one less group of people ferrying drugs up and across international borders. Iranu! Ki lan pon jebe l'akisa fun. Nigeria should do herself a favour and push them out. And make sure you fence them all round with a 3km high wall to prevent access through the borders. |
Misterdhee1:Na so me sef dey wonder o. Let them have their country. I'm sure the world will come to know it as Republic of Hate. |
BabaRamota1980: ![]() I don't think the wife's too old though. They both look Happy. May God bless their union. |
able20:

EniHolar:Hilarious! Women can be brutal If they set their minds to it. |

Also, who told you that the majority of Igbos want to stay in Nigeria? I will tell you for a fact that the majority of Igbos in the East support Biafra and the majority of those outside of the East either strongly support Biafra or could easily be swayed to due to the actions of the Buhari administration. Buhari truly is IPOB's biggest asset.
