Lol on the basis of these 2 games, I agree. But it was Lesotho.
Same Ebuehi we've seen against England, Serbia, Poland, Czech Republic, Iceland, Congo, Algeria. We've seen it all.

Nope! It has to be from the position you qualify from the group. First Vs the second of the proceeding group, I believe.

I think Rohr might prefer to start Onuachu and bring in either Osimhen or Iheanacho as a substitute. You know Iwobi is fit right?
Oh! Iwobi takes Nacho's place then.

You said sideways passes but Iwobi could never take on a player one-on-one, he would still play sideways. Iwobi is not good at crossing neither could he shoot...have you forgotten so soon ?
Iwobi may not be all that. But, if there's anything he knows how to do well, it should be threading those through passes, with some sweet 1-2 passes at well.

I don't see what you miss in Iwobi. However, I think our midfield woulda been worse if the makeshift Iwobi was there. We know Iwobi is good at 1-2 and scores but we need a natural midfielder and Iwobi is not one.
In the absence of a natural 10, what happens? Look at how deserted our midfield was most of the time, coupled with the number of sideway passes from the midfielders.

But Rohr would rather condemn him to bench.....honestly, only Chukwueze can match Onyekuru when it comes to wing play and skills
Add to his always being a goal threat. For someone who is not that tall, he impresses aerially. He's good.

Yea, Rohr ain't a fan of his though. Won't be surprised if he pulls him out for Etebo.

Who would've thought
If he continues to do well, Man city may just trigger the buy back clause and then sell him off for profit.

Actually in the immediate HERE and NOW he is the most IN -FORM striker that Nigeria has.

However, he has scored in consecutive matches, he looks way sharper and brimming with CONFIDENCE the oil that produces goals.

Is it a flash in the pan or is it better things to come after 4 seasons of outright mediocrity. Only time will tell.

The cherry on the pie would be Leicester beating Man city on Saturday and KC scoring that will put all the past under perfoming years to bed. Even if they don't win, and KC can score against his former employers, just one goal two would be bliss and three would amazing.

When things go well and you are performing the past is often forgotten and replaced with the HERE and NOW.

The key component of a quality top class striker is CONSISTENCY he needs to get that.

Let's see the next 9 coming games before the end of the season, to call yourself a quality striker he should really score at least 6.

I am actually impressed, it seems he has finally climbed out of his perennial doldrums.
Alright! I can't seem to fault your submission here. We're still watching.

Ferdinand and Vidic won't play every game. Wes Brown, John Osea had their chances. He could have had his too.

Although, his ball playing attribute may be mediocre at best.

Good points sir. Am just curious as to why we haven't had an African star in Man Utd, despite some good mentions with Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and even City. At some point in time, I also used to think South Americans also have it tough in Man Utd for whatever reason, Forlan, Veron even Tevez, just my own thoughts.
I can't really say. I've observed that African players to better with London clubs. Talk Arsenal and Chelsea. For Liverpool, how many African players have they had? How many have performed pretty well?

Anderson took a fall for Mikel. If Anderson agreed Mikel signed that deal with Manchester United, Mikel would have been in trouble with the forces behind the scene.

Anderson could not also say Ferguson knew about them trying to sneak Mikel behind the forces.

So he accepted he forged Mikel's signature. Went to jail and let Mikel go to Chelsea.

The Ferguson team really loved Mikel and I hope Nigeria raises another gem with the class of Mikel again.
Because forging Mikel's signature just didn't make any sense to me. There wasn't a need for that.

I'm pretty sure Anderson would have been very well compensated for taking the fall.

True that, the same way he turned Eric Djemba Djemba to world class!!!! By the way I haven't seen an African ( full blown) thrive at Man Utd, Quinton fortune and Bailly are the best from africa to feature for them and that says a lot.
Funny of you to relate their failures to their race. Forlan, Rossi, Bellion, Pique and a whole lot of other players didn't measure up under Fergie, are we gonna conclude is because of where they from?

You make good points however Shittu was the one who orchestrated Mikel's trials with Chelsea. Ferguson knew he had no chance getting Mikel through Shittu. Hence the reason why he used Anderson to try and get Mikel. He also probably thought Mikel would probably want to be his own man having just turned 18 but unfortunately for Sir Alex he didn't reckon that Chelsea had other leverage on the young man.

If you know Sir Alex's notorious disdain for agents then his actions won't have surprised you.
True! It's evident in how Raiola made him hands off Pogba the way he did.

I heard there were lots of threats and secrecy behind that saga. Mikel had no choice from his former agent, Anderson. But, why did Chelsea not let him be when they could sign anyone at that time.
I believe Anderson served jail time for issues related to that transfer saga.

How did he let Mikel slip? The only blame Ferguson can get is allowing Mikel sign with Lynn Oslo after discovering him. He should have stayed in Manchester United and not waited for a future deal.

After unveiling Mikel, John Shittu came with his mafia movement to scatter the deal. Mikel had to admit he signed the deal under duress to save his neck.

So Ferguson can not get blamed for it.
Getting him and sending him to the U-23 would have been better. He wouldn't spend much time there before he breaks into the 1st team. Obi wan was already a favorite at the time. The mafia wouldn't have stood a chance.
