Omanambala: Of course, Olanipekun the genius will object anything objectionable....after all ,he is getting paid massively to defend nonsense.
One of his wizardry was when he informed the honorable election tribunal that when Tinubu's Guinean passport expired his citizenship also expired..... . What a genius. He also forgot about the lie Tinubu told about his dual citizenship in his application for candidacy....she
Because of your hate and tribalism you are ready to follow Tinubu to hell fire and we will be ready to excort you into it....

Mujtahida: Before if an opposition player is standing in front of a player, he'd either dribble the player or attempt to do so. Now they just pass the ball. It kills my vibe. It's so sterile the kind of football being played these days. it's not an interesting development at all. |

Mujtahida: Mbappe is an athlete. All the players you mentioned except Neymar are players for the new mould of football - run, sprint and pass
I'm talking Baggio, Maradona, Ronaldo de Lima, Ronaldinho, Zidane, Bergkamp, you dey talk of Pepe. Max is 11 years old.
I showed him clips of Ronaldinho, Okocha, Neymar, young CR7 and he's asking me why nobody dribbles like they used to do back in the day.
He hardly enjoys watching football with me these days, he considers it boring, he'd rather watch older football videos on YouTube. |

He got his positioning wrong, his agility was lacking.
He's obviously not well developed in that position. |

TheGoodJoe:
Yes. But, some are suggesting he should have held his position, expecting a pass, or made a slight diagonal run to stay onside, and expect the pass.
This I disagree with because the longer he stayed in that position will mean he gets trapped by the defenders. The best decision he made was the one that resulted in the goal.
Had he gone through the sandwich, the best he could have gotten was maybe a penalty. |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by elunico: 8:55pm On Aug 21, 2022 |
TheGoodJoe: How can you say movement is not his greatest strength when Osimhen showed split-second decision-making, noticed that there was room at the side of the three defenders? Broke away from their sandwich, and gave a passing line for the midfielder.
What Subzero047 is proposing is that Osimhen should not have MOVED, but maintained his position. However, Osimhen showed movement and mobility.
That was brilliant movement, and this is coming from one of Osimhen's most vocal critics. If Osimhen had continue running straight down, he'd have been flagged offside. |

TheSuperNerd: I am just waiting for someone who will come tell me it's a good move because Hadjuk Split is one of Croatia's top teams, finished 2nd last season and currently doing well in the new 22/23 season.
Honestly considering he's just 25 and has featured in La Liga and Ligue 1, regularly, this move is a serious let down.
They face Portuguese side, Vitoria Guimaraes in Round 3 of the UECL Qualifiers in 3 days and at least I hope they make it for Awaziem's sake.
Now I have to put up with following Chidozie in Croatia. Not like I don't keep up with the league, I actually do for sake of other naija lads there, but for goodness sake, not Awaziem naa. A player that should still be in the top 6 leagues and not outside it.
Disappointing move. And he could be their player permanently by the end of the 22/23 season as his loan comes with an obligation to buy. Nerdy!! Do you have Awaziem's agent's phone number? I want to whisper something to his hearing. |

Our goalkeeper, chiamaka has been impressive though she could have done better to parry the ball further.

TheSuperNerd: ICYMI, Preseason 22/23 Update: Tijani & Onyedika suffer long term injuries ahead of new season. Sad.
20 y/o Samson Tijani and 21 y/o Raphael Onyedika both face lengthy spells on the sidelines due to Injury.
Tijani suffered a fractured tibia and fibula that currently sees him ruled out for the entire new 22/23 season. Suffered it in a Preseason game last Saturday vs Feyenoord.
While, Onyedika saw his achilles tendon ruptured which rules him out for a period of 5-8 months or even a year depending on the severity and progress of recovery with hopefully no relapse. Happened on Saturday as well in a preseason encounter vs Gent.
Sad, really sad news for two of our young Midfield prodigies in Europe ahead of the new season. I really fear for Onyedika. I'm not sure if he'd be thesame player afterwards.
Achilles injuries are the just grave. |

You're sounding more ridiculous. Those South Americans winning that award, did they do that while playing in their local leagues?
Wasn't it as a result of their performance in UEFA organized competitions?

TheSuperNerd: Yes, in grades, they are.
Graded from Grades I to VI depending on the level of fusion of the radial epiphyseal plates of the left wrist.
I trust most, if not all, of the lads are Grades IV and below except in a few cases where two or more may lie on the border between Grades IV and V.
Back in December 2020, the NFF decided to only pick players who are Grades IV and below to avoid failing MRI tests on the African and Global stage due to a rule in the U17 Afcon regulations that states that if any member of a team failed the MRI (during Afcon Qualifiers or at Afcon proper) then the entire team would be disqualified.
So with this, I think Odoh should make it all the way to the WC, hopefully. Thanks for this exposé Doc.
I now have a better understanding. |
