A lot of the players sustained various degrees of injuries with two in critical condition.
Pray for Akwa United. Man! This is sad.
How long would it take us to afford flying our local teams to their destinations. The risks of traveling by road is just too much these days. |

Where are all those who were prophesying that Onuachu would be the first name on the list when released. They said so with an aura of arrogance suggesting that they have a seat somewhere at Rohr's table. They've forgotten that the man has dropped Onuachu in the past and he was only made the list as a replacement for an injured player. Nonsense!!!
I would always pick Simmy ahead of an Onuachu who struggles to trap a pass, win Ariel duels or even position himself to be seen. |

Subzero047: It is not even about injuries they don't even have a style of play, they don't have a way of progressing the ball to the strikers and their wingplay is horrible
Gattuso may not be it as a coach I watched them last season and early this season as well. They weren't this bad.
Remember, Gattuso was the one who brought AC Milan back into reckoning. |

Man! Napoli may have fine players, bit they are useless as a team. Yea, Atalanta's pressing was nightmarish, but, they could do better.
It may be unfair to kick Gattuso Now, man has been grappling with injuries to his regular players. But, with Koulibali back, I believe their fortunes might change. He has a commanding presence in the back, pushes the attack, picks his passes well.
Man, I just wasn't feeling good about Osimhen's mates response to his injury, it appears to be really serious. This is really a major setback for the lad and the team. |

Tolulopefinest: Napoli is a very funny team. You can't just predict them. They actually played nothing special. They just defended all through . I doubt if Osimhen would score 8 goals in serie a this season with the way the team is set up. Koulibali, Manolas, Mertens, and Ospina all out, Osimhen struggling to regain match fitness, they'd surely not find it easy. |

TheSuperNerd: Okay. I guess it was the "Aina is a mediocre" part that caught my attention and got it mixed up with the follow-up comment where you also classed him (an EPL starter) as synonymous with Nwakali. So we cool. No wahala. Haha! If there's anyone who'd make such blunder, that person would definitely not be me.

TheSuperNerd: Perhaps next time, try to elucidate more than you did in the first post. Merci. haba Nerdie. This was my original post below. I was clear on what part of their play influenced my position, which clearly was lack of concentration.elunico: Aina is a mediocre. I group him with Ajayi and Nwakali, those lads lose concentration very easily. |

TheSuperNerd: E be like say una dey purposely drop these takes just to see reactions o kwa ya?
How can you list Aina with K.Nwakali?? See, I still believe in Nwakali and all that. Lad is still a good player that just needs gametime but in no universe will I class Aina in the same category with Nwakali.
One is a starter for an EPL side and has already seen Afcon action with the Super Eagles winning Bronze in the process. But Nwakali.... The closest he has gotten to playing for the Super Eagles was in a game vs Liberia that wasn't even counted.
Same thing with Semi Ajayi. Come on. Ajayi may not have been so awesome defensively but at least he's been a threat aerially on the offense. Aina and Ajayi start for EPL sides. Let's ignore the fact that come May, they may not be in the EPL but for now they remain EPL starters.
Abeg. No dey call a still-trying-to-find-his-feet Nwakali in same sentence as Aina and Ajayi Biko!!!! Understand me please, young man.
I'm not comparing their career progression, no, that wasn't my context. My point was targeted at how these 3 players mentioned, when on the pitch can't guarantee you full concentration, there's this aura of non-challance about their style. They all have this in common. |

andrewbaba44: Many of you had said aina should not start for Nigeria and talk down of him no need to deny that
And there are still people who prefer ebuehi which is normal
Aina is not yet a starter self Aina is a mediocre. I group him with Ajayi and Nwakali, those lads lose concentration very easily. |
