Don't come here pretending to be fighting for Dennis, when in the real sense of it, you're trying to use him to drag another down.

Rohr isn't as clueless as many of us want to believe.

He knows how to set up his team in an attacking fashion, he just chooses not to, and that is down to cowardice, same energy he's transmitted to the team, hence, the tepid display.

We've seen his team in the last WCQ games, the games against Ukraine, Argentina, these guys did well. But Rohr chooses to play it safe, but, that doesn't guarantees a win, we set up
conservatively against C.A.R and still got beaten.

Extending his contract was a great disservice done us by the NFF

Watching Ekong At the '16 Olympics, I had high hopes on him, thinking he was gonna turn out to be a solid defender. For someone with this much experience; having played at the Olympics, World Cup, and Afcon, it's really disappoining that he has refused to improve.

Maduka does a very good job of promoting himself. If you follow him on twitter, you'd know this.

His relationship with Oma helps too.

It appears, we don't rate him as much as the supporters of his club.

Note that i didn't based my rating on current form alone,

Musa of today is below average,i can't argue that,
he is not even suppose to still b in the team,
but u can't just throw away all his past exploits n rate him on his recent performance.
A litle bit above average on his whole career is better .

I can still rate iwobi and iheanachoi as above average at least for SEs,their problem is their inconsistency.

Ighalo is an an average player, now and in d past.

I only rate osimhen as almost world class based on this season.

By the way i have always maintained here whenever they start singing about the abundance of talents we parade,
that we no longer have the kind of players we use to parade in d past,
that most our players r average.

But we still have atleast 3 top players in osimhen, ndidi and chukwueze, now ejuke is included.
With 3 top players in your team is enough for any tournaments.
That's my opinion.
Nacho no be top player again? The guy was monstrous last season.

To be brutally honestly with you , hommie , I still have not believed Ighalo is getting invited. Is it true or just a rumor ? I can't actually believe what I am hearing....what exactly does Rohr lack in our forwards for him to consider bringing Ighalo out of retirement......lmao

Despite the fact Kayode and Dessers were top scorers of Austrian league and Dutch league respectively, they were never given the chance to prove themselves in the national team. It’s very strange.

Kayode was not just the top goal scorer but he was the best player in the Austrian league.

Most of the players that won the best player of that aforementioned league has gone far to distinguish themselves in top leagues and became integral part of their respective national team from that moment but Rohr and his mafia team international blocked him from the national team. From Sadio Mane to Keita, Haaland and recently Daka.

I see it as a deliberate act to international block these players from the national team.

Well, Nothing last forever.
Well, this is your agreeing that 71mins uninterrupted is enough to impress, as others didn't even get as much as that before they were dropped.

Asides Osimhen, none of our forwards know how to press aggressively. Put Ighalo upfront and you'd have Iwobi doing all the pressing for his lazy a$$.

Kayode is a monster when it comes to pressing, he can so disturb, he's been unfortunate not to have been given the chance to impress.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by elunico: 10:52am On Nov 02, 2021
This guy is just talking off point. cheesy cheesy. What has those players not being wingers have to do with the fact that they were never given as much time as Nwakaeme?

He played for the most part on the right flank in that game as much as I can remember.

Better get your facts right. If I have my way, Shehu, Musa, Simon, Kalu, Ighalo would never make my 30-man list.

andrewbaba44:
So Maja, Dessers, Kayode, Junior Ajayi are wingers abi?

He was played out of posotion, why are you not saying anything about that part

Well you guys are satisfied with musa and co

Na just make rohr team dey play wuru wuru football and insha allah grin grin

andrewbaba44:
Things doesn’t work this way

You might not rate Nwakaeme doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be sincere here ,rohr doesnr prefer Nwakaeme and there is nothing wrong on that

But you want Nwakaeme to perform on his debut while playing as a striker which is not his position ,you self check am

Judging him with 71 minutes was very wrong and to make it worst he played as a CF on that game ,how many of these players you mentioned played out of position on their debuts ,these are questions you should ask before concluding on anything

If I give you English brazillians Spanish players who had a rough debut but still made it with the national team you self go surprise

I guess rohr is pleasing you with better players ,how you see him list Baba ,are you still expecting anything good from this man bro’s ?
He's lucky to have 71 mins, you think this life is fair to everyone?

How many minutes did Esiti, Bonke played before they were tagged not good enough? Why can't you clamor for their call back too?

Kingsley Michael gave his all when given his chance.

Maja, Dessers, Kayode, Junior Ajayi, if you sum up their minutes together is not up to 71, yet no one is crying for their calling back.

When it comes to Rohr and his selections, that man is truly dense.

Anyone who has watched the SE for long develops something like an instinct which can tell which player is a SE material. You see that Nwakaeme, he's not SE material, walahi. If he likes let him play like Messi in his club, he doesn't have SE DNA. This is my personal opinion oo but as one who has watched the Eagles for years, I wager that I can make such an assertion.
Gbam! Someone that was given a whole uninterrupted 71 mins fa. How many minutes did Chukweze, Nacho, Ebuehi, and, Aribo get before we saw what they had to offer.

It is actually insulting to the likes osimehn and Ndidi when their national team coach downplays his players by saying, that they don’t have players in the mould of a Salah and mane. By voicing such derogatory comments, you’re disrespecting your own superstars “osimehn and Ndidi” and also motivating your direct opponents/Rival. Rohr is lucky that he is dealing with an incompetent FA because some of his comments are terminable offenses at bigger club. Can you imagine Barcelona coach saying that Barcelona don’t have a good squad as Real Madrid? For example, 1 v 1 Algeria didn’t had the strongest squad at the last ANC, but they won it despite Senegal and Ivory Coast having a stronger squad on paper. It was simply down to their coach motivation and believe. He was saying from the on set, that Algeria are aspiring to win the nations cup and look at what happened
This you?

Ighalo is the current top scorer in the Saudi league, his club and international experience cannot be bought anywhere. Okocha,Kanu are they actively playing?
Top scorer in the Saudi league. Lol grin

Is that the best we have, we have scorers in the Serie A and bundesliga, EPL, the Spanish segunda, and we would have to take a trip to Saudi to call a striker who isn't clinical enough.

They retired of their volition, same way Okocha did.

Last time I checked, Ighalo is no creative midfielder, nor a creative forward.

If he's needed back in the team, then we'd have to clamor for Okocha and Kanu.

You are right but still doesn't change the fact he wasn't exactly flavor of the month during that period with the SE pre-World Cup
His performance at CSKA Moskva showed that he still had it at the time, he was scoring in most of those games and gaining the fitness needed.

Who would have gone to the WC in his place? Moses Simon and Onyekuru were injured at then.

You make a fair point but the fact of the matter is the Yobo of 2014 was already undergoing diminishing returns just like Musa is right now but we still included them for their experience and standing in the team.

If Musa eventually gets his 100 caps I will still salute him because he has been a great servant to Nigerian football. Will I completely say he has nothing left in the tank? Who knows but remember pre-2018 WC Musa was on an awful run of form guy was even playing in the reserves of Leicester City but he turned out being our best player at the world cup in russia.

By current form Musa shouldn't be in the squad but we all know inclusion in national team squads all over the world is not always as straight forward as that.
Wrong!! Musa went back to Russia to prove himself before the WC.

Not really his fault. Everybody at Genk believed Onuachu would secure a big move.

When it became clear that this wouldn't suffice, it was too late as other clubs had found their talisman, so he had to make do with Leganes before Feyenoord's interest.
Was he supposed to be at Genk to begin with, remember they had Onuachu and Odey before his signing.

Same thing happened at Utrecht, where he was glued to the bench despite his impressive minute-goal ratio. Had to move to Heracles to redeem himself.

I also think the same, but Feyenoord fits his style of play and he has only one clear competition as striker.
He should be the No1 striker for any team he plays for.

He has just never gotten it right - the right team to join, a team that truly needs him.
