goldbim:I hope you aren't bigger than Lepacious bose o? |
Crazymommy Please, will they deliver to my house address? Cos I don't know what PO box to fill in, hence I dropped only my house address and postal code. |
wman:Job snow kor Ed stark ni. Cheating with CBT is minimal. What is the difference between JAMB'S inefficiency and the corruption happening in these Schools where the ratio of Merit to Connection on the admission lists is 20:80%? You don't get it. They refused to include these new courses in the admission package because they already had a devious plan to generate almost 200 million Naira with fresh forms when the students got desperate after missing out on a few lists. Why was there uproar about the shady Immigration recruitment exercise where multitudes were invited to an exam with very few slots? |
I'm sitting on the fence as far this decision is concerned. Nigeria always has a way of making even the best policies look haphazard. But to cite cheating in JAMB as a reason for the opposition against scraping Post-UTME is mostly unreasonable. As far as I know, cheating in JAMB is almost unachievable these days with CBT. The funny thing is these corrupt and hypocritical schools also accuse JAMB of corruption, when in fact they are the masters of corruption. A student scores really high, then sits back to see people with much inferior scores getting admitted into the choicest courses while the better students get nothing! If it's only for the benefit of students, why do they generate massive amount of money from the scheme. Many schools generate over 500 million Naira from the scheme and everyone is ignoring such blatant extortion. These rogues even keep extending application deadline when it's obvious they have very limited slots. FUTA last year, released a supplementary form for new courses late into the admission processes just to capitalize on the desperation of students who had already missed earlier lists. They raised the fee of course generating close to 200 million Naira. even though they needed to fill just about 800 slots, they advertised all over Social and print media and ended up getting around 26,000 applicants. Let FG scrap Post UTME as from next year and work really hard to ensure JAMB rewards students proportionally to their efforts. |
funny! The petition is filled with misplaced priorities. If we are to talk about injustice and selling of admission to less worthy candidates, these schools are to blame. They admit 10 on merit and 80 on 'connection'. |
Snow30:What is entirely different about SAT aside the format? Don't they also require meeting a school specified cut off? (for schools that need SAT) It's even written up to six times a year. |
raumdeuter:Ancelotti got sacked after blowing a 7 point lead to end up trophyless! |
RuuDie:Which patience? Most top clubs woulda fired Moyes or LVG even earlier! You wan try Madrid, Chelsea, Barca etc? |
RuuDie:Moyes that took us to 7th from first? I even stopped watching football then. Lol No matter how patient a club is, you'd get fired in that circumstance. |
butanep:SAT is the equivalent of JAMB. Why is there no Post-SAT? Abeg.... |
bettercreature:You're wrong. I know of a federal university that admitted close to 100, but not more than 20 made it through merit list. They had insane cut offs that suited that 20, when they could have just made life easier by using cut offs instead of 'Connection' for the rest of the over 60%. Nigeria is more evil than you think. |
martineverest:Lol.. I've always liked Mou! I even enjoy his antics cause they make football interesting, eg calling Wenger specialist in failure. ![]() I like Pep too, but these guys make it seem he transformed Bayern into something more precious than a Unicorn. even though he actually failed since didn't make a final, especially as any decent coach would win the League with Bayern right now.I mean even LVG made the UCL final and also won the league with Bayern, so what the hell? Pep hasn't ever had to work with a squad many United fans call mediocre, yet they want him. Well let's forget it Sha. |
parrotibaba:Mahrez is my dream right winger for next season. Pogba In midfield. Any ball playing Striker, though we know Mourinho will prefer his languid strikers. I hope he becomes less pragmatic. |
SIRcumalot:What he thinks of himself is his business bro. I'm only concerned about what his fans think about him. I still read an article not more than a week ago claiming he is the best tactician alive. I like Pep, but I hate the fact that Jose's achievements are undermined by haters who think he's done nothing asides Spending his way to victory. This guy won the La Liga against the best team in decades after just a year. Won the UCL for Porto about two decades of drought. Won the UCL for Inter after over two decades of drought and near irrelevance in Europe. Pep is just getting his biggest test, and I'm interested in his progress. --------------- No! I wouldn't be happier with a coach that made Bayern lose 5-0 to Madrid a year after they walloped Barca 7-0. |
raumdeuter:You guys don't get it! Yes, Mourinho is expected to succeed, but the fact is this is Guardiola's first testing job. Mou won the champions league with teams that hadn't won it in over two decades. This is the touch of a Genius! A team Mancini couldn't do shitť with in europe? Pep took over two teams already feared in European football, so there is a big difference. ( Barca won the UCL just two seasons before he took over) Infact Pep turned Bayern into Serial losers in Europe, always getting rubbed on the floor by Spanish opposition time after time after time. If he made almighty Bayern retrogress, we want to see him perform his miracle at City by winning the league, after all, there was a derogatory Mourinho article on Goal which described Pep as the greatest tactician on the planet. No be by to dey wear designer suits. We want to see him conquer EPL and Europe. Meanwhile there is no excuse not to succeed for Mourinho, but the world is looking at Pep. Is he truly the 'Master' or the 'Fortunate one' we shall see....... ![]() |

huntax:Come which plan you dey use with these series you're downloading? |
folks4luv:Feel free to port if you value quantity over quality. I almost cried when I visited Osogbo and almost broke my sim when I couldn't get higher than 30kb/s( on a good day ). Even where I live, Glo network is so poor that it will make you weep ![]() We even lost signal for about 5 days last month. I guess glo is fast where you are, that's why you're contemplating a switch. |
TheGoodJoe:He might have been 15-16 there. 3 years is enough for rapid growth. At 15, I was very small too, but I'm quite really bigger now at 23. Also I'm considering the fact that he might have been malnourished (no offense) back then, which might have hampered his growth. And people also have different growing patterns too. Anyways even if he messed with his age, it should still be close enough. All these are maybe though...... Even though I believe the guy who said he was a teammate. |
tbaba1234:I grew taller after 18....... |
Terrible thread and a waste of MB. |
Ayoolla:Glo is slow in most places. When we way a network is fast, it means it's fast in your average location. I've tried Glo in many places. I tried it in three southwest Capitals, but the speed was nothing to be proud of. Shame on Glo. MTN is not even scared of Glo cos they know they have nothing to fear from a network with poor quality almost everywhere. Glo has been running their 1k for 1.5gb since last year, and no Network gave a damn, not until MTN did theirs that prompted everyone to reduce their prices immediately. |
donhils:Bro, Glo is slow in most places. I get 30kb/s max speed on Glo. Even when I visited two state capitals, it was the same bad story. |
jstbeinhonest:that bros ruined himself with the wrong move. |
ddippset:you said that in a previous post. |
coded01:you guys dont know who modric is, that's why you are surprised ath got tamed. |
ddippset:you claim you started watching football 15 years ago, but still think r7 is a tap in specialist only. typical igorant cule. |
The way GBR1 flogs Ramdeuter is something I would only wish my enemy. ![]() Calm down na...

I was listening to radio a few days ago, that was when I heard Lucas Graham's song '7 years' for the first time. Though released in 2015, I liked the lyrics, which I can only describe as philosophically reflective. A strong departure from the likes of Adele's slow brand of music which I find one dimensional with it's majorly only Romantic content. There are other Great songs indeed, but I like slow songs which aren't overly romantic themed. Let's hear yours..... What's the best music you have come across this year?[b/] |
