Am gonna forgive that misfire cos obviously you don't know how to guage the fire power of a phone. S5 is a lot more powerful and here's why:

First let's talk about their respective chipsets. The S5 is powered by by an high end chipset known as Quadcore Snapdragon 801 which is a lot faster than A8's Octacore Snapdragon 615 and Exynos 5 Octa 5430, depending on the model. In fact, the comparison wouldn't be fair on A8's S615 and E5430 because they are couple of mid rangers and should be compared to other mid range chipsets like S600.

When it comes to processing power, again S5 wins the Derby. It has a krait 400 processors clocked at 2.5ghz. Compared that with A8 slightly inferior cortez A7 and A15 processors, clocked at lesser speed of that of the S5's, you'll have a definite winner on the later

The gpus of each device rely heavily on their chipsets and processors to be able to maximize their potential. on the S5, the adreno 330 is a superstar, while on the A8, the adreno 405 is an underachiever.

Bottom line: like someone once said on a certain thread, and I quote "you can't compare an high end SOC with a mid range SOC. It's like comparing 4 body builders with 8 skinny people."

I factored in other things aside raw speed.
Faster memory speed, faster ram speed, 64 bit , better power management, direct x 11 resulting to better graphics on newer games, a newer version of open CL etc.
And let's not pretend the GPU doesn't really matter, it matters alot.
I've seen slower PC hardwares with better GPU running games better than faster ones with inferior GPU

The Galaxy A series consist of a bunch of mid-range phones. They have premium looks, but their features and specifications are mid-range.

The Galaxy S series on the other hand consist of high-end phones. They are Samsung's flagship devices. Along with the Galaxy Note series. High-end phones are known to offer more and refined features than mid-rangers.

Doesn't still change the fact that the S5 is a pretty old phone.
This phone will pretty much match it.
The GPU isn't on the same level with that of the S5.

Samsung A series are among if not the best looking phones out there, alas they are mid rangers. I don't see myself relegating my high ender S5 for something of lower specs just because it's more easy on the eyes.

I was answering questions in the English section when my computer suddenly froze, displaying the same questions from no 21-30, in a panic, I screamed, hey Supervisor, I got a problem here, my No 21-30 is showing the same answers, and he replied "that's how it is from JAMB" Only for the browser to outrightly crash, when I logged in again, I saw the questions were not the same for No 21-30, it was a computer error!
I never recovered from the shock as I got jittery when answering math, forgot a constant in physics.

Or can you explain why students scored average in English this year despite it not being significantly difficult than in previous years?
I still passed more than your average student though.

In fact, in some subjects like biology, JAMB repeated point blank past questions from previous years and people who knew the answers for sure still scored average.

If JAMB scored people without any meandering with the actual scores, the scores would be shockingly high!
JAMB is NOT difficult!

But....stress over a long period of time can keep the BP permanently high (among other risk factors like bad diet and sedentary lifestyle).

Can stressful work cause hbp?
I did one last week after some strenuous work fetching alot water from a well and it came out high.
But I was very scared of the test though and my heart was thumping (I dont know why I was scared)

I have always tested my bp previously and it was always perfectly normal.

Now, I'm scared of having another which could get influenced by the white coat effect due to my fear now.

Lets bet, by this time next year WP wont be dominant ? .. I Love windows so much, but not on mobile or anywhere else expect pc... I have actually compared same games between the ps4 and a friends Xbox one, the ps4 was more cool.. with VSYNC even on and settings at ULTRA which i am sure, the ps4 didn't stutter a bit...

We shall see about the next year bet but I can bet it that if Microsoft doesn't abandon the OS it will become more relevant in a while.


Yeah, the PS4 has the more powerful hardware but other things like the media integration, the Windows ecosystem, kinects potential, still make the Xbox One many peoples favorite.
And it's not as if the xbox is really poor though.

We are talking about the biggest PC OS maker here.
In the long term, if Microsoft sticks with WP, it will emerge a true winner!
What if WP suddenly broke it's restriction (which is already almost less restricted than iOS), brought over a big fraction of its features from PC?
And mind you, it has advantage of having it's own ecosystem ; Xbox, surface tabs, Windows OS, Holo lens (potentially), Office etc.

The major thing that has been holding this thing back has been apps AND it hasn't even reached it's potential feature power yet.
