Omen100: Mr. Man, this is an act of favouritism while the moderator who knows how emotional Nigerians are has moved the topic to front page to promote nepotism. U have to engaged in the contest like everyone contesters not coming to Nairaland to seek cheap votes from Us.I was in for some contest badly meeding to win and asked Oga @ the top to help move to front page. And he said "we believe in merit", despite the fact that the voting process was way quicker than this.. Some other guys own hits fp and cheats the competition too.. Not fair.. |

I was beginning to feel shymexx, till i found out he's an hypocrite... You cant live in 9ja and u telling me all this? Yeah.. as much as i believe in the Nigerian dream, i was shocked when i got to Ghana and didnt experience any power outage for a month.. So tell me, what would dissuade a Nigerian youth from leaving Africa to get a feel of what actual modern civilization looks like. Or tell me how an aspiring young entrepreneur would cope with his little financial clout, when he has to fill up his Power generating set.. As much as i believe in the Nigerian dream (cos if i'm going to realise my billionaire dream, i can only acheive it in My own land..) its still a fact that when events frustrate you to depression, you could jump at such a chance of living in Diaspora.. shymexx why did u leave Naija? 1 Like |

one thing to put in consideration is Resale price! You buy a techno for 35k and struggle to sell it 25k after just a month!! thats not funny at all... but get an s4 for 100k, and you can still even sell for 90k after a while...thats common sense..add 15k, you get another beefy phone..thats a good deal.. So you see durability and Resale value matters alot as you dont wanna use a phone forever! If you can afford an expensive phone, good AND if you can enjoy your budget phone.. ** and stop hailing techno to the heavens! Mediatek phones all over the world are ridiculously cheap.. google the sony xperia c. Despite it being a Sony phone, its as cheap as these techno device! and thats coupled with a great camera, scratch resistant screen, superior support, better brand name which leads to a quality resale price.. **** 1 Like |

Now tell ne techno advocates, would you pick a Techno phantom a+ over the Sony xperia C? and both costs similar price.. The day is gradually coming when the bigger OEM's will flood the budget market with mtk powered phones! I hope you guys are aware that iphones are the most expensive mobile phones on earth! cut sammy some slack people. Samsung is relatively cheap if you must know. Imagine the s3 is just 65k. Can u beat that? What you must know is that, the day techno starts using e.g snapdragon chipset, The price would skyrocket! Infact other phones running on mtk chipsets are even cheaper than these techno.. Checkout the new sony xperia C for instance, that phone has similar specs to the gionee gpad g2. it also runs on a mtk chipset. That phone is very cheap compared to the usual sony purse busters. And this is despite the fact it would have better support, better camera (priceless!), better screen, greater resale value.. So next time you wanna make comparisions, Understand the diff btw the pricing of a mediatek device and a snapdragon/exynos device!... thanksss 1 Like |

Smath: Please can someone help me on how to solve a bootlap problem on gionee Ctrl V4..Actually its my friend's phone and what happened its that he rooted it which went fine but he went ahead to install font changer and on the process of the phone to boot so as to install the font ,the phone was just stuck at the boot image of gionee..He has done a factory reset but the phone can't boot up..Any solutions from you guys will be appreciated..Why do you guys always install fonts? whats so special in it? fonts brick most of these mtk devices! beware, dont fall a victim!!! |

birdman: You got a point there. You have separated Christianity from the the evil people who capitalize on it. Great. Why cant you apply the same logic to the "diabolic tradition" as you put it? Could it be our traditions themselves were good, and were used by evil people to sacrifice humans?
