sure but the argument is that him and Musa should be dropped after the afcon to mk space for younger players to come in

I can’t talk about musa cos obviously we av better options, however in dt defense ,omeruo and balogun is needed ,I never trust dt bassey guy and semilogo Ajayi sometimes mess up his games..

We have seen the best of Omeruo is not issue or his pace which was even better than Akpogunma and Bassey against Guinea Bissau.

Omeruo still making eagles is cuz the young ones have not really impressed.

Omeruo is going to afcon…except injured

I won’t be surprise if he starts all d games sef.

I concur with your list however I would swap Omerue with Jordan (if he's impressive) or Awaziem. Last attacking spot would probably go to who impresses the most between Orban, Sadiq Umar, Moffi and Akor Adams.

If the list is 26 I would add one more winger Ejuke or Olayinka, another midfielder (anyone of Nwakali, Alhassan, Ebenezer, Eletu etc) and Bruno as cover for Zaidu.

I think d maximum list of players is now 27 for every competition.

Only thing that playing Nacho and Lookman showed is that JPes loves to attack. He wanted Goals rain.

But the man still shows ineptness in balancing our midfield dynamics. The way out? I am afraid we are stuck with JPes till Afcon.

I hope he can just manage to find a good enough balance in the middle (not perfect but something not far from it by a few hundred miles) that can enable our attack really wreck havoc on the continent or he should find a way to make our attacking wingers function as extra playmakers VS the TOP Sides, both invertedly and on the outside in sync with their corresponding Fullbacks.

These ways, our attack won't be shackled but free of most limitations to destroy Africa and bring home the Title.

This is Nigeria's chance. Senegal for me is on a decline although they remain strong by reputation and class (which is permanent than form). Egypt is "Play and die for Salah" and Inshallah. CIV is a bunch of above average players with more grit and power than brains. Algeria is also strong but nothing like their 2019 squad. Morocco is possibly the strongest team in Africa now based on Team Chemistry ONLY but Cameroun is not to be taken lightly as they are always a traditionally clutch tournament team. Ghana? They blow hot and cold... and always hot against the GWG.

Look, Nigeria has the best and most dreaded attack in Africa. Best CFs, some of the best Wing forwards/creative attacking wingers. Nigeria also boast decent midfielders albeit functioning unbalanced due to JPes' picks. Our defence is not the strongest but it is decent enough with quality fullback depth and hopefully Torunarigha joining the CB options strengthens that department.

We have what it takes to make it number 4 but it rests on JPes' tactical and technical selections and decisions. But trust me, the tools are all there. It is more about whether he will recognise he needs a hammer when faced with the problem of nails.

Welcome back … d question is what stop d coach or nff to invite d likes of nnadi nwakali akinsanmiro now….at least two out of d three options mentioned above

If Ighalo wants that, he will arrange it with the NFF. They don't have to force a last game on him. Besides, he already announced his retirement long ago so that case is closed.

Marjoribanks:
In the first half, Paserio played a disorganized 352, making the game unnecessarily complicated. Ndidi moved to CB when building from the back to allow Aina to overlap, and Nacho to move to the midfield thus disrupted our right-side midfield and affected our compactibility in midfield and attack.

The introduction of Chukweze immediately changed the game.

Our primary issue in the first half was the absence of a right winger (RW). To maintain our team shape when starting Awoniyi, Oshimen, and Nacho together, we needed to replace either Onyeka or Ndidi with a winger.

If I were the coach, I would have started with Ndidi as the sole defensive midfielder, moved Nacho to the number 10 position, and placed Chukwueze on the right wing. With this setup, we could have easily secured a dominant victory, potentially winning by a significant margin.

So 6-nil is not a significant margin

Chelsea wanted to sign Awoniyi that was the reason Nottingham Forest bought Odio and Origi. I think AFCON was the reason they decided to back down since Jackson too will be off to AFCON. Nevertheless, Poch still wants him. January transfer window will be quite interesting!

This NFF clearly have no ambition for our national team... Why all this prolonged negotiation with Peseiro when they could be searching for a replacement? Abi it's because they're owing him?

Also, it's ridiculous that Eguavon and Salisu are being considered for the job... Finidi, I can understand to some extent, but the aforementioned names have shown that they can't handle the super eagles well.....

Dey re striving so hard to retain a poor performing coach and Dey willingly let a proof coach(randy) leave .what an irony!😀
