Yes, I had always hammered it here for years that Ndidi is veey poor. Him and Iwobi are the reasons SE has been poor for years. But , like you said he will not retire because that's all he got. Without SE Ndidi will be forgotten because his club career is winding down.

No I wasn’t. I said 50/50. If you listened to the SA coach after FIFA deducted those points you’ll notice that he collaborated the statement I made earlier on it. FIFA officials actually missed the mokoena yellow and struggled to deduct the points that’s why it delayed that much. The match commissioner didn’t have it on record and that reminder was not passed on to SA who like other African teams had grown used to not doing their own internal processes cos of FIFA reminders.

This time there’s no sports outlet at all reporting on any infraction only one journalist saying nothing specific.

The problem is that you guys have been so intrigued by our lucky breaks that you think Nigeria just has to be at the World Cup. Nigerian officials are probably scrutinizing DRC new players and speculating. It’s probably an NFF official that is feeding that journalist with faint hope not as if there’s an actual investigation by FIFA on anything.

It was the wrong coaches that failed us,Even Chelle would have qualified us with one game to spare,but NFF with their politics and their ineptitude refused to appoint the right coach at the right time.

Chelle is not a top class coach but he is decent enough to reach the final possibly win it.
He is yet to loose a match, is it against Tanzania or against Uganda he would now start losing, I don't think so even though nothing is guaranteed.

The decisions the NFF makes after the AFCON both in terms of their leadership and the actions they take will show whether they are truly serious about rebuilding and improving this team. It’s obvious we are not winning this tournament, but what happens next is what really matters. If the NFF chooses to ignore the problems, sack only the coach, and keep the same old faces and failed structures in place, then we should be prepared for d worst outcome; qualifying for the 2030 World Cup will be very unlikely.

At this point since we don't even care where you play. Only the okayers contribution to the team. Let us try kelechi nwakali in our midfield. Our midfield to be honest is too average and that was thr major problem against congo. O know nwakali opponents will shout. But....we lack midfielders.

Oga, this is not the time to be clamouring for your favourite player or the one you personally want to see in the team. Rather, it’s about choosing the players who are ready to give their all on the pitch and make maximum impact

Many of those players don’t understand the weight of what they lost. Those two matches against Ghana and DR Congo that denied us two World Cups will stay with them long after they retire.
