Mujtahida:

Sadiq Umar? Haa wahala dey oo. So people still advocating for Sadiq?

Sadiq umar is very intelligent…But his body fails him most times and he hardly scores …like I said earlier in my post ….even if our team is playing bad, Sadiq will create dt chance for himself from no where ..I respect him for dt
Had it been he converts most of his chances ,we won’t even b discussing who shld pair osimhen upfront

But he’s just dt hypertensive style of a player dt can kill d fans with d way he misses chances upon chances

Go and watch sadiq most games in eagles shirt..he’s not d boring striker dt won’t give u something to say..it’s eida u curse him or praise him.. d former happens most times.

Look at d match against Tunisia 🇹🇳, d moment he was on d pitch..look at d chances he created and wasted ,he could av won d match for us had it been otherwise.

forgiveness:

Boniface is not better than Awoniyi for now no matter how you try to sugarcoat it. Leave epistle for Wole Soyinka. grin

Make una dey deceive unaself grin

He is not better, but he offers something different with his play of style .I would rada pair both together(boniface/awoniyi) or osimhen/boniface) not (awoniyi/osimhen)..d last pairing didn’t work.

Meanwhile barring any last minute injury, taiwo awoniyi going to d nations cup is as sure as osimhen going too.

It is welcome. If you can add yours, do but I only mentioned these based on who don play under Jpes.

All the same, another pick has been made. Forgiveness ooo... Come pick naa. Habamana

Umar sadique kind of striker will create chances upon chances but his conversion rate is almost zero,u will always feel his impact whenever he’s on pitch cos he is always positioning himself in situation dt might lead to goal but won’t end up scoring most times hence d reason for d frustration he creates to d fans watching..nobody is close to sadiq when it comes to creating chances in eagles 🦅,not even osimhen

Okay, Forgiveness and the rest of the house... kindly answer this honestly and to the best of y'all ball knowledge.

Based on player profiles and personnel synergy, who among these CF options look the best to pair Osimhen up top? Take into account the various tactical variations and their contributions to the 2nd phase plays.

- Kelechi Iheanacho
- Taiwo Awoniyi
- Victor Boniface
- Sadiq Umar
- Terem Moffi

Note: I don't even expect the same answers coz ball knowledge levels differ and perspectives on why some pick A or B would sound legit.

I will go for boniface / Sadiq umar …but if a fit isaac success is among ur list ,I would av yanked off umar and put success instead 🙂

The last time we had a defense like that was at the WC. The oyinbo wall really protected Uzoho then.

I don’t knw y dis coach is not looking at balogun …balogun is still useful for eagles 🦅

I don't really understand Moffi. At Nice, world class. At National team, he looks like an amateur! First 4 minutes the keeper cleared the ball to you in the 18 yard box, a professional striker will control, touch and either shoot or pass to a free Aribo. Instead Moffi controlled the ball and reverse back to shoot like an amateur. 😒 We call it "Yidi" in Yoruba. You are not even allowed to do that at the lowest level of amateur football not to talk of a striker playing at the top level. Moffi and Sadiq should just go and rest. Let Paserio invite Tella to challenge Chukwueze. An attack of Osimhen, Awo, Iheanacho and Boniface is good enough.

Are u sure it was moffi ….I tot it was aribo o

Playing Sadiq and Moffi unbalanced the team. Even we are struggling playing against 10 men with this formation. You need an Iwobi/Boniface in that role. Is this coach blind?

Guys. We truly don't have time again. The time to properly fix our GK issues is long gone. We are stuck with Francis Uzoho ahead of the Afcon barring injury.

If d coach is serious ,he shouldn’t bother taking uzoho to afcon except his club situation has changed and his confidence level his high

At dis point, I don’t mind us taking three local gk to afcon

It was quite painful, to be honest.... But we could have won that game if Iwobi didn't get a red card... Also, I remember Sadiq missing a good chance late on..

We really do have a goalkeeper crisis.... Adeleye self thats playing regularly in Israel has conceded 9 goals in 5 games...not very encouraging...

Akpeyi shld be recalled into the mix… cin Akpeyi manning d post gives me more confidence cin Maduka and uzoho dere….we knw say Akpeyi sef na suegbe 😂

I understand it is a new dawn. Fifteen years ago, players like Ogwuche, Federicks, Nnadi, Eletu, Daga, Akinsanmiro, Jude Sunday, Daga, and Agbalaka would have made their senior debuts. The advantage is that there is no scouting head for our national team handlers. The disadvantage is that we can hardly get players like Osimhen, Kanu, and Okocha from those rejected by their country of birth's national teams in Europe.

I c no reason y dt nnadi guy can’t be invited .he was our best player in dt midfield.he plays maturely and way ahead of his mates .the guy sabi

I agree. Can't remember a bad game he had for the SE. Average games? Sometimes....but never poor.

His run of SE games included some of the best periods of the Rohr era especially our famed 2018 WC qualification victories.

Shehu was never extraordinary but he knew how to do the simple important things to get the job done.

Sadly, his club career never quite took off and now that we have solid competition for the RB spot with Osayi-Samuel, Aina and Ebuehi, Shehu's SE future isn't looking particularly bright.

90 percent of those who criticize shehu is not for football reason…dem no just like d guy name ,d guy was superb during 2008 qualifiers like u rightly said and he was a committed player
