Whether Nigeria or Gala

No Osimehn, No Party!!!

And it makes me wonder what his teammates at both Club and Country are doing that they can't step in to fill the void whenever he's absent.

Shame on them all
Na osimhen make dem lazy … Osimhen is like that hardworking staff who ends up doing the work meant for others, making the rest look lazy when he’s not around. He’s practically a whole team on his own.

OGN has a history of milking trending stories that people are really interested in. Im quite sure they have up to 50 stories on that site regarding that south african deduction. I have also read more false than true stories on OGN so i won't even take that story with a pinch of salt.
If Ogn say good morning, my bro try check outside if na true …I am only trying to take d news a bit serious not until osasu is saying something similar…osasu stories most times are true . Still I am not convinced about the rumors

All though I'm not in support of super eagles trying to use the back door to qualify for FIFA world cup 2026, but please read the last paragraph before this information you posted. A player name might appear here pending FIFA consideration and approval.

I just pray FIFA approved his change of country before he played against Sudan and other countries.

It's not the coach.
This same coach picked up the team from low level and has won games even without Victor (in unity cup).
It has to do with the players mentality..
If you bring in Pep, same thing will happen.
I was surprised to see them passing to the back continously and being timid during the Dr Congo game, no fighting spirit.
C'mon..there are players with international exposure, they seriously let us down biko..
Now we re ready to say the truth .Those guys are not good enough.

1. Wilfried Ndidi
2. Alex Iwobi
3. Moses Simon

Will Eric Chelle do a quick replacement for these players before AFCON?
These are the current Super Eagles problem but many don't see it.
All d midfield

Iwobi shld be played where he’s been played at his club , like I use to say any coach still relying on iwo I for his creativity hub is a lazy coach

Dey re not good enough .i can tell u for a free dt we won’t qualify for 2030 World Cup if we keep parading dis set of average midfielders dt cant create and transit d ball well

The funny thing with Naija is that I can almost bet that the team will still need calculators come 2029. Our attention span is limited. The NFF board/NSC will carry on like nothing happened.

This should go down as one of the biggest failures in our sporting history. An expanded world cup with possibly 10 participants from Africa doesn't have a Nigeria!!!!
This is true 100 percent, knowing fully well aw we reacted when we lost d ticket to Ghana 🇬🇭…

Yes, we lost because of Osimhen's injury which shows that our team is useless without our main man unlike Congo's because for fvcks sake, Congo didn't even parade their number one striker Yoanne Wissa in this playoff due to injury, yet they battered us like we stole something in the street.

The loss no dey pain me because we obviously stood no chance.
As in …d second half shld be replayed to those players …Dey were so heavy, lethargic, slow to even try second balls and I was like ,ah an…wetin Dey go on.abi na Brazil 🇧🇷 we Dey play with

We couldn’t play any shot ,off or on target …I mean none,we lost every second ball,it was dt bad …I am starting to believe chelle ,Abi dis ppu use juju truly cos even this team wout osimhen during unity cup and Russia games was not dis bad …from d blast of whistle going into second half has been a hell of torture to my eyes 👀. It was as if d entire team forgot aw to play football.we were piss poor

You’ve said it all. The players have themselves to blame perhaps they themselves are not confident about their future and just want to remain average or where they are currently. That drive for personal satisfaction and fulfilment is lacking. Never saw an eagles generation as flat as this.
Blaming the NFF for every failure is like expecting the government to suddenly provide uninterrupted power supply , we all know it won’t happen. The NFF has shown time and again that it won’t change, so the responsibility now lies with the players to rise above the system and excel but unfortunately they failed woefully. The state of the NFF is simply a reflection of the country’s governance.”
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by elyte89: 9:30pm On Nov 17, 2025
We can choose to hold the NFF responsible for our failure to qualify for the World Cup, and in many ways they do deserve criticism. Their long-standing issues are well known, and nothing seems to change. However, I believe a significant part of the blame must also fall on the players.
About 70% of this current squad experienced the painful way we missed the ticket to Ghana, yet that disappointment still didn’t motivate them to perform better in this qualification series. They were placed in a group with mostly lower-ranked teams in Africa, aside from South Africa, yet the performances were still below expectations. I honestly don’t feel sorry for them. It shows a lack of seriousness and a failure to push themselves to grow as professionals. Maybe they feel the World Cup isn’t essential for their careers, but if thats the mindset ,den is disappointing.
Many of us came from humble backgrounds, yet we keep striving to excel in our careers despite challenges. So why should professional players, who know the NFF’s shortcomings, wait for miracles? They should have risen above the circumstances and fought for their careers on the pitch.
It’s unfortunate, but our next chance is in 2030. The preparation must start now.
