Scrypt: This is largely dependent on the tone of the question. An Assude; If the person asking the question's face looks anything like or near this, , then the question could be represented thus,
Do you know the difference in our ages? .
A second situation would be if the person asking the question wants to know for knowledge sake this difference, hence, it should look like this;
What's the difference in/between our ages?
I hope this tutorial was helpful, if yes, we would really appreciate your feedback by clicking like. If not please send us a mail detailing your confusion or stating your disagreements in a polite well structured essay detailing your convolution.

The MasterCard Foundation Scholarship Program(MCFSP) targets academically excellent, yet economically disadvantaged young people in Sub Sahara africa.
The basis for the award of the Scholarships is financial need, academic excellence and leadership potential.
Initially,MCFSP was operational only in select schools in US and Canada, but late last year four African Universities were included to the partner universities.Amongst the universities in Africa are
1. University of CapeTown (UCT)
2. University of Pretoria(UP)
3. Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST)
4. Ashesi University
Of interest here to us are UP and UCT.
The first set of beneficiaries of the MCFSP in UP and UCT are currently studying for Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs respectively.
The Eligible courses under the MCFSP are Undergraduate and Postgraduate(Honours and Masters by Course work and Research and Masters by Research only) programs in the following disciplines
Engineering Management and Social Sciences Natural and Agricultural Sciences Medical and Health Sciences
Scholarship Benefits:
The MCFSP is a fully funded scholarship and it covers
Travel and Visa Costs Accommodation Living Expenses Full Tuition Fees
Also,on completion of their studies,MCFSP scholars are assisted to get paid internships in their home countries and also you will become part of an international community, the MCFSP alumni.
If you are interested,I'll advise you start making preparations now to apply, because you need to secure admission in the partner universities to be considered for the scholarship.
The scholarship is very competitive, but with God all things are possible.
Good luck. |

UP and UCT are among the best schools in SA,but they are very expensive. However,if you can get a Scholarship such as the MCFSP,you'll enjoy studying there. Send me a PM,I'll forward the application forms to you,so you could see for yourself and so you can also start getting the required documents ready.
But you must submit a separate application for admission and meet the admission requirements for both UP and UCT to be considered for the scholarship. |

SantohFilz: Hello errone!...I'm new in this forum tho I've gone through the pages from the scratch buh I've got questions... This is my issue and will be glad if I can get quick response about the whole visa process and how to get admission to South Africa. My Brother in South Africa has invited me to come study ACCOUNTING (Undergraduate) in South Africa but he said I should search for relative low tuition universities from 20-30k rands, I've googled enough but I'm still not getting schools with that tuition range...so If you know of schools with tuition around 20-30k rand please list them out for me 2. Searched google for the process of procuring a student visa to SouthAfrica but I still have an issue, which is the Medical insurance; is it that it must be done in South Africa or can be done here in Nigeria? 3. Do I need the Yellow Fever card?
Boss Justwise (Travelling to Canada) and Boss Manager007 and all other persons in the forum Will appreciate quick response to my question...many thanks to y'all....#peace I don't think you'll find a school in SA with such low tuition for international undergraduate student. But there is a scholarship you can apply for,if your O Level results are good, it is the MasterCard Foundation Scholarship Program. It is tenable in two schools in SA viz University of CapeTown and University of Pretoria. It is a fully funded scholarship and covers tuition fees, accommodation and living expenses. The deadline for application is usually around August/September.If you have further questions on how to apply, you can ask. Cheers. |

btasha: sorry one last question, where do you think is better to relocate to Abuja or Lagos? I'll say Abuja,Lagos is too crowded.Though Lagos has more business and job opportunities but it is very stressful. And if you'll be serving in CBN,Abuja will be most suitable, because you'll have a good chance of being retained after your NYSC.CBN is one of the best places to work in Nigeria, there is career progression and job security, and the pay is also very good. BTW,I sent u a PM,pls check ur mail. |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Entry Level Salaries Of Companies In Nigeria by Emasel(m): 7:53pm On Jan 26, 2015 |
btasha: well i studied accounting and finance, but i don't want to work for an accounting firm i was thinking of working for a business and doing their accounts. Well,I recommended those firms because I feel they will suit you being an accountant and also because their recruitment process is purely merit based, though very competitive. You've been out of Naija for a quite longtime and so may not really be conversant of the system here. The most lucrative industries in Nigeria currently are Oil and Gas,Banking and Telecommunications. And getting a good job in these industries sometimes, takes more than being witty and smart, you need to be connected too. Although, people still get good jobs in Oil and Telco companies without connection,It all depends on Grace and how good the individual is. You could also arm yourself with a Masters if you can, before relocating back to Naija; it will also boost your profile and help you, especially in the multinationals. I wish you the best! |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Entry Level Salaries Of Companies In Nigeria by Emasel(m): 6:15pm On Jan 26, 2015 |
btasha: well i have been here for the past 15-16 years, i do not have any experience. I graduated with a first class in accounting and Finance degree. Okay i don't mind doing NYSC. which my degree i can literally work for any industry, but i don't know which industry is best in Nigeria in terms of career progression, salary and solid experience and how to get into the industry.
Also if i do my master will that help? You've got a very good result! A First is a big plus especially in entry level jobs. Like you said, you can fit-in and work in any industry as an Accountant. Hmmmmm........ I can't really advise on which industry is best as regards career progression and salary, but for an accountant like you,for a start,I'll recommend the Big Four consulting firms(PwC,KPMG,Ernst and Young and Delloite),starting your career in any of these firms will help you a lot. You can also keep your options open by applying for other jobs. |

btasha: well i live in London, but ill really like to relocate to Nigeria but i don't know how to go about it in terms of getting a good job what to expect, how long it takes to get a job, can i get a job from UK before coming.? Do i have to do nysc? To get a decent job in Nigeria, you'll need NYSC Certificate, unless you are above 30,then you could get exemption.Getting a good job in Nigeria depends on so many factors, First, are you a fresh graduate or you already have some working experience? If you belong to the latter,it will be relatively easier for you, landing a good job as most employers here would love to hire someone with foreign qualifications and experience. But if you belong to the former, you'll have to go through the rigours of tests and interviews that other graduates go through for entry level positions. Cheers. |
Politics › Re: Osinbajo Has 5,000 Churches So Don't Vote For Buhari - Sambo In Jigawa State by Emasel(m): 5:24pm On Jan 26, 2015 |
jayfolarin: Sambo's Anti-christ Outburst Against Churches And Pastor Osinbajo In Jigawa.
At the Presidential campaign rally of GEJ/Sambo in Jigawa state on January 21st, 2015, in the presence of President Jonathan, Vice President Namadi Sambo stated in Hausa: "Buhari ya dauko pastor a matsayin mataimakinsa kunsan coci nawa yake dashi? Yanada coci 5000, don haka karku zabesu." The translation is - "Buhari has selected a pastor as his running mate, do you know how many churches he has? He has 5000 churches, so based on that, don't vote for them".
Sambo used religious sentiments in his attempt to divide the country and incite Muslims against Christians. Sambo also said at the rally that the PDP is the most Islamic Party in Nigeria because nobody can be more Muslim than him. He said that his name is Namadi which is a derivative of Namadina, meaning someone from the Medina in Saudi Arabia. At the Rally in Jigawa State Sambo also stated that he goes for the Hajj every year.
In his determination to whip up religious sentiments and divisions, the vp stated at the Jigawa state rally that all the security chiefs in the Jonathan administration are Muslims and based on that, those alleging that Jonathan is supportive of Boko Haram are not being fair. He mentioned the names of some key ministers in the Jonathan administration including Defence Minister, Aliyu Gusau, NSA, Sambo Dasuki, Inspector General of Police, Abba whom he emphasized are all Muslims. He also mentioned all the Muslim ministers from Kano, including Aminu Wali, Foreign Affairs Minister and Shekarau, Minister of Education.
Sambo then asked if anyone could claim to be more Muslim than him Namadi Sambo. Then he shouted Allahu Akbar (Allah is great several times). To close his speech he recited the AlFatiha, (The Opening, the first seven verses of the Holy Quran, which for Muslims is the Mother of the Book, highly revered by all).
Sambo's outburst against Christians and Pastor Osinbajo would not surprise close watchers of political events in Nigeria but it does reconfirm the outcome of late General Azazi thorough and extensive investigation of Boko Haram and in which he concluded that the PDP founded Boko Haram and finances its terrorist activities.

https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=10204861002677640 And this idi0t has a BArch degree, even a well exposed illiterate will not talk like this. Just being factual, such attitudes and bias is what is making Nigeria lag behind. Even our leaders that should help harmonize this country are preaching religious and ethnic sentiments. #rubbish Jonathan is good!but he is surrounded by wolves. |
