Looking at some figures produced in some states in relation to the figures obtained in just concluded presidential election you will agree with me that there was massive rigging in many states. asuustrike1:PDP was able to pulled the number they got from North because they presented Fulani man like Buhari. I am completely sure that PDP would have struggled to get 25% in any core northern Muslim state if they had presented a southerner. |
APC will win Imo |
Thank God he could predict Buhari as the winner. I believe that is why is still talking unlike most of them that predicted Atiku. ;DThank God he could predict Buhari as the winner. I believe that is why is still talking unlike most of them that predicted Atiku. |
eldoradoxx:Otega foresee this and suggested Pat Utomi but his opinion was rejected. |
ovieigho:I am telling U what you don't know and Truth. |
Babacele:Yes Ogboru is not a yeye candidate but you know in politics everything matters. Is just like in Nigeria case, if PDP had brought southerner to compete with Buhari the margin would have been far more than this. The plan was to bring Pat Utomi which is a good candidate and from Okowa region which is Delta North. But it was jettisoned by Omo agege and co. Though just like everything matters in politics so everything is possible in politics But I am seeing Okowa retaining his seat. mind U am not PDP. |
Omo Agege actually spoiled the plan by Emerho. Emerho was clamouring for Delta North candidate but Omo agege was indirectly used by the state governor to bring Ogboru which is from Delta Central. Had it been a Delta North candidate was presented, Okowa should have been preparing his handover speech by now. Forget APC or PDP. Delta votes base on candidate. |
You are a oik! |
Most of the roads are NDDC projects. Don't be deceived. Okowa will win because Ogboru is not from Delta North. APC got the votes in presidential election because most the NDDC projects were contracted to their traditional rulers and key politicians in Delta. |

AU congratulates President Buhari on re-election By Bankole Adewale - March 1, 2019 The African Union (AU) has congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari on his re-election in the Feb. 23 presidential election. In a statement on the AU Commission’s website on Friday, the Chairperson, Moussa Faki Mahamat, welcomed the successful conduct of the presidential and national assembly elections in Nigeria. He stated that “following the announcement made by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Feb. 27, AU congratulates President Muhammadu Buhari for winning the presidential election. “The union wishes President Buhari and the people of Nigeria success in efforts to build a peaceful, stable and prosperous country.” Mahamat reiterated the conclusions of the AU Observer Mission and other international observers on the election process as largely peaceful and orderly and in conformity with Nigeria’s legal framework. The chairperson said the largely peaceful conduct of the elections marked another important step in the consolidation of democracy in Nigeria. He commended INEC for the conduct of the elections, and all the political actors and the Nigerian people for their high participation and maturity. He also called on stakeholders to continue “in this exemplary spirit’’ and refer to existing constitutional and legal framework and other peaceful meansto resolve any dispute that may arise. Mahamat expressed optimism in the “peaceful conduct of the remainder of the elections’’ and renewed the AU’s commitment to continue working with the Nigerian authorities in support of the efforts and in furtherance of the continental agenda. I hope he Fulfill the promise. |
A group , “I stand with Buhari ”, has allayed the fears that President Muhammadu Buhari may victimise the Igbo for not endorsing his reelection . The South -East Geopolitical zone voted overwhelmingly for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar , the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in last Saturday ’s poll. Speaking at a press conference in Awka , the Anambra State capital on Friday, the leader of the group, Dr Chekwubechukwu Ijeoma said the fear was unfounded. While describing Buhari ’ s reelection as a “ Victory for the masses against the elite , Ijeoma assured the Igbo that the president would carry everybody along . He said the declaration of Buhari as the winner of the poll triggered jubilation across the country, meaning that he is loved by all. He noted that there was an improvement in the support for Buhari in Anambra State and the South - East in general in the 2019 poll against the votes the president garnered in the 2015 general election in the geopolitical zone. He said , “In 1999 , the military gave us democracy ; in 2007, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo chose leadership for Nigerians; in 2011, it was business as usual ; in 2015 , the change came and in 2019, the masses chose the president for Nigeria . “ Mr President like any other person may have his faults , but he is the best for Nigeria and Nigerians. “He will improve on what he has done for the country in his second term . He will carry everybody along . He remains the president who belongs to everybody and belongs to nobody. ” |
The man has been consistent in his predictions. |
That is how Russia would have supported Nigeria hadn't been US and co decided to interrupt our election. |
=https://www.channelstv.com/2019/03/01/russia-vows-more-support-for-venezuelas-maduro/?utm_source=TW&utm_medium=ChannelsTV-+AutoPoster&utm_campaign=SNAP%2Bfrom%2BChannels+Television Russia on Friday vowed to maintain support for the embattled regime of its Venezuelan “friend” President Nicolas Maduro, including with humanitarian aid supplies. During talks with Venezuelan Vice President Delcy Rodriguez in Moscow, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said President Vladimir Putin expressed “support and solidarity for his colleague and friend” Maduro in the country’s political standoff with the opposition. “Russia will continue to assist the Venezuelan authorities in resolving social and economic problems, including through the provision of legitimate humanitarian aid,” Lavrov told a joint news conference with Rodriguez afterward. Battered by an economic meltdown, Venezuela descended into political crisis when opposition leader Juan Guaido declared himself interim president in January and asserted that Maduro was no longer legitimate. Maduro and his allies — including Russia — have accused Washington of attempting to carry out a coup against his government. The United States has recognised Guaido and led a diplomatic campaign in support of his leadership. Lavrov said Russia had recently sent to Venezuela 7.5 tonnes of medical supplies and received a request for more shipments. “We are currently considering it,” he said. He added that Russia was also sending “mass supplies” of wheat to Venezuela, claiming those shipments helped normalise the humanitarian situation in the crisis-hit country. He renewed warnings for the United States not to intervene militarily in Venezuela and reiterated Russia’s claims that Washington was planning to buy small arms, mortar launchers, and shoulder-fired anti-aircraft missiles known as MANPADS from an “Eastern European country” and station them “close to Venezuela.” The weapons will be taken by an airline of an ex-Soviet country loyal to Washington, Lavrov claimed without providing further details. ‘Hotheads in Washington’ “Of course we see these intentions,” he said, calling on Venezuela’s neighbours Colombia and Brazil to resist any possible US intervention plans. He expressed the hope that the fact that most countries did not want to see a military scenario “will cool hotheads in Washington even though there are some there who nothing can stop.” Lavrov said the two countries would continue to coordinate on foreign affairs. “We are very closely cooperating and coordinating all our steps on the international arena,” he said. “This has acquired special significance now that Venezuela is facing a frontal attack and unabashed interference in its domestic affairs.” Rodriguez for her part said her government would move the European offices of state-owned oil company PDVSA from Portugal to Moscow. “President Maduro has instructed that the office of the Venezuelan oil company in Europe, which is located in Lisbon, be moved and transferred to Moscow,” she said. She thanked Putin and “the Russian people” for all their support for “the constitutional and legitimate government.” “We have come here with a very good programme to deepen the strategic relationship we have with our sister Russia,” she added. “Venezuela does not need military intervention, our continent does not need military intervention, neither from the United States nor from anyone, we need peace, stability and tranquility.” |
Presidential election is not just to decide who become the president but also to ascertain the performance of all political parties that participated in the election. There are several conditions that the new political parties must meet to participate in the next presidential election. I believe they are doing all these for them for justice and fairness. |
Not only the man predicted Buhari victory but also predicted economic boom for Nigeria 2019. A renowned Christian cleric in Omu Aran, Kwara State, Prophet Christopher Owolabi, on Tuesday, predicted that the tenure of the present administration under President Muhammadu Buhari will extend beyond 2019. Making the prediction during the crossover night service of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Ori-Oke Irapada, Omu-Aran tagged: “Seeking for Nigeria’s Democratic Sustenance Beyond 2019” on Tuesday, the General Overseer of the church, Prophet Owolabi, told the gathering that the prediction was not borne out of any personal or political interest whatsoever, but God’s divine guidance and direction for the country. He also predicted a rapid socio-economic recovery for the country in the New Year, saying the leaders needed the urgent intercession of the citizens through prayers to consolidate on the gains of the government’s anti-corruption fight. “It is based on God’s interest in directing the affairs of the country at this critical period of its history as it is revealed to me,” he said. Owolabi also said that election of leaders in the country presently had gone beyond personalities or individuals but through divine intervention. “No matter any act of political commission or omission, God is the one presently in control and directing the affairs of the country,” he said. Owolabi, who was known to have made many predictions as regards the nation’s current affairs including the emergence of Senator Bukola Saraki as the leader of the 8th Senate, urged politicians to play according to the rules. “The present leadership in piloting the affairs of this great nation as was revealed to me will extend beyond 2019 and there is going to be a brighter light at the end of the tunnel socially and economically”, he said. Owolabi advised that some notable top politicians in the country need to indulge in prayers in order to avert untold calamities, especially sudden death in the year under review. The cleric, who decried incessant killings, kidnappings, armed robbery and backbiting that had pervaded the land, urged Nigerians to learn from their past mistakes, misdeeds and shortcoming by embracing righteousness in the New Year. Owolabi also used the opportunity to advise the government to urgently formulate a clear-cut policy toward stemming the negative trend associated with social media platforms, especially as it concerned the youthful age bracket. “It is very glaring that the country is dangerously heading to a halt as far as hate speech, intolerance, religious and ethnic bigotry being perpetrated through social media platform are concerned. “Such needs to be treated by the government as a matter of urgent national importance to move the country forward,” he said. He urged religious leaders, traditional rulers and parents in the country to use their preachings, counselling and parental advice in ensuring a reliable and productive future for the youths who are regarded as the leaders of tomorrow. “The future of our nation depends largely on the readiness and preparedness of our teeming youths in terms of quality educational background, information and technological advancement in taking over the mantle of leadership. “This to me should be the major preoccupation of our religious leaders, traditional rulers and parents alike,” he said. |
