ekt_bear:True, no one can control his birth circumstance, but I doubt if 'Omo Ale' are usually welcome with open arms ![]() |
rasputinn:The loquacious Bakare said a 'bastard' Godfather of Fashola, Kingmaker of ACN, Foremost Intelligentsia Asiwaju of Yorubaland, A bastard! A felon! God will deliver Nigeria from his grip on Lagos State Tax money! |
Why are well all discussing this now as if the country is about to disintegrate. In any case, if there are strong cultural links between Idomas and Igbos and the former wants to join Igbos of the SE, why should we deny them theire identity? Was the progrom carried out by the Idomas, or the North? Or did Igbos expect the Idoma (who were clearly classified as Middle as at 1967) to join Eastern Region without formal agreement. War situations are very fluid, I won't blame the Idomas, for not siding Biafra during the war) By and large, Nigeria need to be restructure and maps redrawn; the Yoruba of the North (Kogi, kwara etc) should be included in the SW, ditto for Igbos in the North and South South. |
ekt_bear:Disaster is what is happening in SW, as a result of Tinubu's strategy. Or how else are you going to describe the assault of the revered Awo, and almighty Tinubu? |
^^^^ As you wish, but know you can't be overly critical without been hypocritical! |
Eziachi:lol, I know exactly what I am saying. Supporting a Tambuwal was a strategic mistake by ACN, that is why we have all this hue and cry from SW (Awo this, Tinubu that). Certainly, that action has backfired, and it's a death knell for Tinubu's leadership in SW, and perhaps the beginning of the end for ACN. Besides, the Tambuwal guy is linked with the corruption case that is currently sinking the past speaker. Why would a 'progressive' party like ACN be found in same bed with such a character? Supporting Adeola would have been a better strategy. It would have succeeded in doing of these two things (1) - You destroy your enemy (PDP Speaker in SW) by making him (her in this case) your friend. or (2) Keep your friends close, but keep your enemy closer. It was a badly thought out plan to dump her for Tambuwal. Tinubu would be seen by other SWners as having sold their right to the North. Unless it pays off in the short term - Tinubu will not survive this turmoil, without major loss. Where the above options are not tenable, Tinubu should have fielded a candidate from ACN, and negociate for support from CPC, and other disgruntled NA members. This would be a big gamble considering the numeric size of PDP, but in the end lose or win, no one would accuse him of selling out to PDP or the North. He will live to fight another day, with his 'integrity.' Anyway, let him enjoy his travails, that is what happen when a man, arrogate all wisdom and knowledge to himself - Asiwaju of Yorubaland, I hail thee! Pa Eziachi, I think you should start considering retiring from politics section! Just kidding. ![]() |
ekt_bear:They said made in Nigeria bus, everyone seems to agree and are happy about the development. What up with you, and your never ending argument about definitions and classification. You have posted over 6 rebuttals on this matter, trying to belittle the efforts of the Innosson. Let it rest oga, else people will start questioning your motives, and possible complex. @ Topic, this is one small step for Enugu, and a giant step for Nigeria! Patronising locally made goods remains the best way to assist local manufacturers, and also improve quality, save foreign exchange, reduce unemployment, etc. Kudos |
Tinubu goofed big time, supporting the Tambuwal guy as against fielding a candidate of ACN for the speaker post, or supporting Adeola who is yet to be linked to any major scandal. He shot himself in the leg, by that selfish decision. I would be very surprised if that transgression is allowed to go without any major rebuke by right thinking people. |
justokey:You just read my mind. Enough of hustle and bustle of 'other cities', I need to go chill in the beautiful Coal City of Enugu! ![]() |
tayoTFC:Don't derail this nice thread with bigotry. What is wrong if they copied Lagos state? And what even made you think Mass Transit is originally a Lagos state idea? @Topic Great work Chime, let hope every other state government follow your lead in taking Buy Nigeria to a higher level. |
Yes, nice work OAM4J Keeping tribalism and hate at bay is a very good development. Please do not rest on you oars sir, plenty work ahead. Kudos for what you have done so far! You are as much a FRESH AIR as GEJ Keep it up! |

Mariory:ACN vote should have gone to ACN! ACN should have presented an alternative candidate in the midst of the confusion that engulfed PDP. Whether their candidate would have won or not would have been a matter of how much the were willing to sell him as a better option. But obviously someone in ACN wasn't thinking right! A new dawn is upon us, let work and pray for a better tomorrow! |
Kilode?!:Does that now mean you will not ridicule 'Aba made' products and spare part? |
Gbawe:Your problem stems from your big-headed, know all constant tirade in every topics and threads? Why? You don't have a day job? That's by the way. A consequent of your long boring know-all outburst is your inability to keep track of what you said and when. Or how can you say I was the first to accuse you of bigotry, when my accusation was in reference to your first salvo via unwarranted innuendo in response to my comment: You said: Some of you are so far gone in seeing everything along ethnic lines to the extent that you feel duty bound to defend the actions of your kinsmen even when they are undoubtedly wrong . This is a big problem with Nigeria. Many of us can pretend to be principled as long as it is not our interest or "anointed" that is touched. Now if that does not qualifies for being indirectly called a bigot, I wonder then what does! For you information, no amount of crocodile tears you shed, or sentiments you whip will sway me from my well thought out opinion about the correctness of Ngige political maneuver; the guy is in a very unique situation; he has to do the unexpected to survive. But your so called political sophistication; lacks the sagacity that ought to go with it. But you still however thump your chest arrogantly; and maintain you are super intelligent in sophisticated politics. Pooh! And shed more crocodile tears, at my supposedly unwarranted aggression! Cry baby town-crier! |

blacksta:I am sure Seun appreciates the musiwa/becomrich combo! They are one hell of a bunch! At least I have exercised my lungs! ![]() |
^^^^ I am baffled was to why this matter is not in EFCC already! Those corruption allegation are very weighty; I am quite sure there must be fair amount of truth in some them. The proponent of the document should channel it to the Anti-corruption agency; one thousand trips of Tinubu to Aso Rock for frivolous and secret meetings will not cover his dirty ar/se. Tinubu, and his fellow sojourners should be made to realise that crime does not pay! |
Eko Ile:Madam, if you have noticed, I generally ignore you like a plague, because of some of your obvious inadequacy. Go and play with your mates! |
Gbawe:So you now you are tired of using innuendos to cowardly paint others as ethnic bigot, and have decided for once to be a man and say it, well as usual, in a very long boring tirade! Chicken is finally coming home to roast! Childish! But I will not fall for your cheap pranks, and pathetic ethnic scheming. I play above the fray! If what Ngige said is wrong by your beloved ACN nonsense ideology, we would have heard so from well placed party officials, not from Nairaland town-criers like you! As an 'intelligent' man sir, that should not be very difficult for you to comprehend. Should it? |
Gbawe:Oga, keep deluding yourself, and continue making this long crap as if I have time to read all. The bottomline line is that ACN is a master of regional game; and your are the undisputed champion of ethnic bigotry - no matter how much you try to deflect attention from your self and your perpetual ethnic scheming. Ngige is borrowing the regional game card from ACN; and his region is SE. If he is doing something he believe benefits his kinsmen - his primary constituency, then I don't see how he is wrong. Ngige is delving into the PDP matter because he does believe in fair play in every sense of it. Beside, if it will win him popularity, and re-election why shouldn't he do it. Ngige, knows his constituency, but you dont! Every politics is local; Ngige understands this, and he is playing it. If you, and your ACN overlords fail to grapple with this simply fact, then that is very sad; and you should begin to question you so call political sophistication! By the way, I don't even know why town criers are making so much noise, when the Chieftains are having a good time! Get a life friend! |
^^^^ Why wont they cry? Do you think it's easy to live without the quarterly loots? |
Eko Ile:An simplistic article written by some sadistic eddiot, who cite Arthur Nzeribe of ABN ignominy, has suddenly become the standard for measuring the competence or otherwise of Pius Ayim? Wonderful! Do some people reason with their ar/se or what? I think, we should focus our attention on the two losers that the PDP has nominated for the Speakership on NA. SGF position is done and dusted, and we Nigerians are generally pleased with it. But of course losers will still have a few irrelevant opinions to give after the deed. |
We should move beyond comparing ghana to nigeria. Trust me on this. I have live in 3 'major cities in Ghana. Accra, Kumasi, and Takoradi. Like enyojo, said, Ghana is far better in terms of Electricity, and 'perhaps' democracy. After that, there is nothing to compare! |
^^^^ Yes, nice. Fasola will be smart to know this. He who come to equity must come with open hand. And I urge ACN/SW to support the SE just as the SE supported the SS. Time for South solid alliance starts in 2015, when Chime or Rochas will run for presidency! |
blacksta:In broad daylight! Shameless boy. Thieving is so wired into his gene/dna that he does it without ruse. If he truly regrets his action, he can start by donating those stuff he is taking home to National Assembly, confess his crimes, then refund all the monies he stole, and the give himself up for trial and justice. Otherwise, he should reverse those crocodile tears for jail. The insults is least of his headache. Bank Ole! |
