^^^ Very few people believe he is indeed okay. |
I think both Rotimi and Fashola are doing great in their respective states. I also believe that the media is also strongly biased in favour of fashola. However, in the cold calculation for 2015, pushing Fashola as 'best' and 'saint', will only serve him more scrutiny. He will definitely be found wanting one way or the other; and resentment might actually set in. Without the media, Fashola indeed may not be better than Rotimi Amechi, and Sullivan Chime. And perhaps, Rocha's might pop up sooner or later. Let's keep our fingers crossed, 2015 is a long time in politics. |
^^^^^ I don't see anything wrong with that. Provided that quality nominations are made in the interest of the nation. |
iluvnaija:Buhari did not win, could not, and will never win election in Nigeria. GEJ is our president, pls spare us all these 'if Buhari had won stuff.' No one knows the mind of that Jihadist and corpers slayer! |
This is good news. It will surely have a positive effect on Nollywood. Let's hope it materialise. |
Ori ni mo fi wo Eko, kin se ese! (I came to Lagos with my head not legs). I guess a typical Yoruba man know the meaning of that. Born in Lagos, bred in Lagos. I am not just a Lagosian, I am Lagos! ![]() |
^^^^ Ok. SW can have the position. Perhaps that could keep PDP alive in the Zone as Obj wished. |
^^^ The SW should have the Speaker's position. Don't worry about Igbo. |
^^^^ Lol SW must accept the Speakership position, just at the SE will accept the SGF. Fair enough? ![]() |
GenBuhari:So in your mind you believe Nairaland Poll is more representative of Nigeria compared to the THISDAY/Ipsos poll? lwkmd ![]() No wonder some of your folks were celebrating in Kastina, thinking that wining in Kastina State is same as winning the election. Shame! |
GenBuhari:Nairaland poll, lwkmd ![]() |
dayokanu:I thought you didn't see it? Now you want me to check his history? Anyway in that last election, SW did not turn up for the presidential election. Not even to vote for BB that was deemed a messiah. So if GEJ fails to deliver, SW is also responsible for his enthronement. Please deal with that and stop seeing 'tribes' in everything. |
dayokanu:Go back to same thread and see if you can find the highlighted. Ijogz K: |
dayokanu:Check below? Only if you can read! Ijogz K: |
Ijogz K:It is not about God sent or not, majority voted GEJ because they believe in his way of governance, not many people believe in the BB. The electorates has confirmed that. Besides where were the 'educated' SW pple when other were voting? Too busy analysing? Please lets get pass the point already, it's getting boring. ![]() |
macjive01:I agree with this. The banks will want to be sure that the incoming government will honour any financial agreement reached with the outgoing. Now if the outgoing states in writing that it wont honour it, that call for concern. Legally the bank's cannot refuse to honour withdrawals if the account of the government is funded, but they might not be in the position to advance further concession or loans to the incumbent. They might also resort to different kinds of delay tactics to frustrate the outgoing governor. |
nedu666:lol, actually this might not be far from the truth. A lot of jobless folk flood this place, peddling rumours and hate. Eko Ile is very notorious in the latter. Anyway, it freedom of speech, whatever tickles the girl's fancy. She is free to indulge. |
Ok @op, we have heard you. But if the election were to be re-run, I will still be vote for GEJ. Not every Igboman who voted for GEJ voted for tribal reason. His power reform program was top notch compare to that of his competitors. And I preferred his calm method of doing things to the gra gra of Buhari. BTW how can you know what Buhari or Ribudu would have done differently? Stop whipping up sentiments, Igbos and Nigerians will rather have solutions to power problem, than be 'zoned' a speaker position whose occupants in the last four years are glorified thieves. By the way, judging from the response so far, pple are tired of this kind of posts. Let's move on! |

Kobojunkie:And your point being that it was right to murder 'a few' Youth Corpers in cold blood for reason of election 'fraud'? |
^^^Yes, let's go there! ![]() |
Lets see how Jonathan will run this nation, when his benefactors are not giving him support. The North does not really want him as president. The SW could care less. Now lets see if he lose all SE support. Who would he go to? I say let him go to the waiting hands of hyenas in the North. He is not our concern. And the COAS should resign and allow a member of another group run this position, because we Igbos are not protecting him.
I think enough has been said about this matter, let's move forward already. By the way, just as the very loud BB Nland campaigners could not win influence votes in the past election, I very much doubt that this protestation on Nairaland can sway opinion in the real world. This is cyber, the real footwork is done in the real world! |
It is one Nigeria, there are no losers or winners yet. Stock will be taken after the four year term of GEJ. Why should be start taking stock when the race has not even started. Don't play into the hand of some stoopid taunts here. The alliance btw SE/SS in the last poll is a healthy one. It is something worth nurturing for the future. The end game should be the bigger picture. GEJ is still better than Buhari that never campaigned in the East. |
jason123:There is nothing wrong with Ezeuche, some of you SW guys on NL are just sowing seeds of hatred and discord. |
