PoliticsRe: Amaechi New Head Of Governors Forum. Fashola Not Interested. by emekagh(m): 12:30pm On May 24, 2011
I think both Rotimi and Fashola are doing great in their respective states. I also believe that the media is also strongly biased in favour of fashola.
However, in the cold calculation for 2015, pushing Fashola as 'best' and 'saint', will only serve him more scrutiny. He will definitely be found wanting one way or the other; and resentment might actually set in.

Without the media, Fashola indeed may not be better than Rotimi Amechi, and Sullivan Chime. And perhaps, Rocha's might pop up sooner or later.
Let's keep our fingers crossed, 2015 is a long time in politics.

i dont want anybody to complain, you deserve the leaders you get. this is just tip of the iceberg, if buhari had won i dont think he'll spend up to 1 billion. nigerians are going to spend another 4 years in hell from pdp govt.
Buhari did not win, could not, and will never win election in Nigeria. GEJ is our president, pls spare us all these 'if Buhari had won stuff.' No one knows the mind of that Jihadist and corpers slayer!

PoliticsRe: Who Is A Lagosian ? by emekagh(m): 7:53pm On May 18, 2011
Ori ni mo fi wo Eko, kin se ese! (I came to Lagos with my head not legs).

I guess a typical Yoruba man know the meaning of that.

Born in Lagos, bred in Lagos. I am not just a Lagosian, I am Lagos!  cool cool
PoliticsRe: Students Demand Reps Speaker From S’east by emekagh(m): 9:50am On May 17, 2011

PoliticsRe: SS Backs SW For Speakership . . . by emekagh(m): 9:46am On May 17, 2011

The SW should have the Speaker's position. Don't worry about Igbo.

Which is more credible?

A reliable online poll or the results of hugely rigged elections?
So in your mind you believe Nairaland Poll is more representative of Nigeria compared to the THISDAY/Ipsos poll?
lwkmd  grin grin grin grin

No wonder some of your folks were celebrating in Kastina, thinking that wining in Kastina State is same as winning the election. Shame!
PoliticsRe: Where Are The Supporters Of Buhari? by emekagh(m): 6:44pm On May 13, 2011
GenBuhari:
These elections were widely rigged
they were not free and fair.

what is the evidence that u have that GEJ won? How can you trust the results of rigged elections

Iam basing my belief on the fact that every online opinon poll on NL had Buhari ahead by along way. Of course online poll are reliable as computers cannot be bribed.

What makes you think the guy can't be from any other region apart from SW, Have you checked his posting history to ascertain he is from SW
I thought you didn't see it? Now you want me to check his history? Anyway in that last election, SW did not turn up for the presidential election. Not even to vote for BB that was deemed a messiah. So if GEJ fails to deliver, SW is also responsible for his enthronement. Please deal with that and stop seeing 'tribes' in everything.

For example look at this post below and can anyone tell me how the poster managed to bring in SW into the equation and if someone responds to him referring to SE in like manner, He would be quick to open a thread like this

Go back to same thread and see if you can find the highlighted.

Where are the people shouting the name of their God sent GEJ,  Now they are deaf and dumb. They can see that GEJ is just anoda wolf in a sheep skin. If Buhari had entered, we would know the state of mind we would be in presently, cuz everyone would be hopefull. Now i live i a hopeless state of mind and affairs,  We still have 4 more years to suffer this useless mistake made by the uneducated south east people.
Now you voted him back whats your personal gain?  angry

How did your response suddenly turn on the SW? Do you have something you need to take care of? Cos the guy didnt mention any region and you found a way to spin it to SW, When another person comes to respond you all would be quick to play the victim card
Check below? Only if you can read!

It is not about God sent or not, majority voted GEJ because they believe in his way of governance, not many people believe in the BB. The electorates has confirmed that. Besides where were the 'educated' SW pple when other were voting? Too busy analysing? Please lets get pass the point already, it's getting boring.  huh huh huh huh

All rochas need to do is to tell the banks that if u lend any money to this guy I will not honour it, moreove any gov on the verge of  leaving yet awarding contracts, those contracts can't b genuine, no due process so it is therefore nulled n void.
I agree with this. The banks will want to be sure that the incoming government will honour any financial agreement reached with the outgoing. Now if the outgoing states in writing that it wont honour it, that call for concern.

Legally the bank's cannot refuse to honour withdrawals if the account of the government is funded, but they might not be in the position to advance further concession or loans to the incumbent. They might also resort to different kinds of delay tactics to frustrate the outgoing governor.

PoliticsRe: Southeast Should Abstain From Gej Government. by emekagh(m): 7:05am On May 13, 2011
Ok @op, we have heard you. But if the election were to be re-run, I will still be vote for GEJ. Not every Igboman who voted for GEJ voted for tribal reason. His power reform program was top notch compare to that of his competitors. And I preferred his calm method of doing things to the gra gra of Buhari. BTW how can you know what Buhari or Ribudu would have done differently?

Stop whipping up sentiments, Igbos and Nigerians will rather have solutions to power problem, than be 'zoned' a speaker position whose occupants in the last four years are glorified thieves.

By the way, judging from the response so far, pple are tired of this kind of posts. Let's move on!
PoliticsRe: I Warned My Igbo Brothers Against Jonathan! by emekagh(m): 7:00am On May 13, 2011
naijacann:
Now south east has lost out in all the positions in the National Assembly.
Even PDP chairmanship naw goes to the north.
Just wait for GEJ to roll out his cabinet, you'll find out that the most an Igbo man would get is gonna be Minister for Communications/Information.
With a staunchly sworn anti- Igbo personality like Edwin Clarke advising GEJ, the Igbos are bound to lose Big.
Appointing an Igbo man as Chief of Army Staff was just a big deception and ploy to get our votes; the true Jonathan is showing off naw.
How insulting to zone senate presidency to north central again when the Igbos actually gave Jonathan the highest percentage of votes of any region.
The entire south south did not vote PDP as EDO went AC.  To hell with Jonathan. He is anti-igbo.
U all can call me anything u want, but my predictions have always been spot on, from the emergence of George Bush to the election of Obama, to the election of Yaradua and then Jonathan(if igbos vote for him). I predicted the re-election of the most useless governor in nigeria-T.Orji of abia cos there was no other strong contender as well as the triumph of Rochas. I predicted Buhari would lose if he fails to pick a strong Igbo man as VP. They all came to pass. I won big money on all those bets.
Thanks God though for Rochas. He will wipe out our tears.

EzeUche_:
Lets see how Jonathan will run this nation, when his benefactors are not giving him support.

The North does not really want him as president.

The SW could care less.

Now lets see if he lose all SE support. Who would he go to?

I say let him go to the waiting hands of hyenas in the North. He is not our concern.

And the COAS should resign and allow a member of another group run this position, because we Igbos are not protecting him.
I think enough has been said about this matter, let's move forward already.
By the way, just as the very loud BB Nland campaigners could not win influence votes in the past election, I very much doubt that this protestation on Nairaland can sway opinion in the real world.

This is cyber, the real footwork is done in the real world!
PoliticsRe: The Truth Must Be Told Ndigbo by emekagh(m): 11:36pm On May 12, 2011
It is one Nigeria, there are no losers or winners yet. Stock will be taken after the four year term of GEJ. Why should be start taking stock when the race has not even started. Don't play into the hand of some stoopid taunts here. The alliance btw SE/SS in the last poll is a healthy one. It is something worth nurturing for the future.

The end game should be the bigger picture. GEJ is still better than Buhari that never campaigned in the East.
