helinues:
@ op, your arguments is about Blood money, how about the money that do not require blood but still ritual ways?

If you meet confirmed Cele pastor, confirmed Alfa or confirmed herbalists, then you might have a change of mind

Spiritual is damn real
I'm not saying there's no dark powers.
But how does that influence your getting wealthy ? That's my argument.
Do you think those Ifas don't wanna be rich too?
Ok how about their children and relatives ?
If they had those powers they'd start within their households.

Don't be fooled man
CrimeIf You Believe There's Anything Like Blood Money, Get In by EmekaMD(op):
Hi Mods..I'm sorry for posting this here. Its cos i don't think there's a specific section for this thread. Meanwhile you can move it to where you deem appropriate but don't forget to push to front page. There's a lot to inform the people here .
This could save 100s of innocent children's head about to be severed, or skull of our ancestors waiting to be mined

So.. I've been in argument with few friends lately. They called me "onye ogwu ego" (blood money man) when i told them i was from Anambra.

And I've also seen similar comments here on nairaland.
So i wanna clarify this topic and re-orient the mind of our people.

First of all. There's nothing like Blood money. It never existed. It's just rationally impossible to exist.
We grow up watching lots of nollywood movies that depicted occult societies with their victims vomiting monies and so we added that' to confirm all we've been hearing lifelong.

Now lemme ask you. Apart from hearsay. Who can boldly (with prove) tell me that he has seen it happened?
Have you asked yourself. That money you believe the victims vomit, where is it coming from? Who printed the money and put in it their stomach? CBN?
How do they get serial numbers from CBN database ?
Funny init?

I know much about people's club of Nigeria. There were nothing like blood money. Those guys labored to make their monies.

Don't get me wrong. This is not to say that there's no occult societies or that they don't have powers.
But the rich people you see in those societies were either rich already before they joined, or just as could happen in every social club, they met friends who introduced them to profitable businesses and they became rich too.

Now why do people join those societies if there's nothing like blood money.
1. People who are already rich want powers. Its common to believe that families or friends or enemies are after their lives, so they seek to become invincible from those threats.
2. Wicked people who like to bully people and get away with it, take peoples land and properties, influence things in their favors
3. Powerful connections which could mean more money and more societal influences.
4. Ignorance.. now this is the worst of the groups. They join believing they'd be given money and they're often disappointed when the money doesn't come

So next time someone tells you to bring someone's head or to mine skulls of people who should be resting in peace, tell them to show you firsthand who had benefited from it. Do not believe those stupid magics. They're "the more you look the less you see". They're not real.

You make money by solving problems or providing services.

Also don't go to churches to spend all ur time believing in one pastor to do miracles for you. If he had the know-how he'd do the miracles for himself and become rich. Instead he asks you for money when he's in need even though he's supposedly closer to God and should haven't easily gotten all the money he needed from God.

This thread is open for reasonable arguments..
Give me ur points why you believe its possible to make blood money.. I'm waiting to counteract
PoliticsIs Buhari Approaching From A Point Of Weakness Recently ? by EmekaMD(op):
Has Buhari become weakened recently ?
Is there anything the USA threatened him that we didn't know about ?

Is he scared of the Gbagbo treatment or something?

1. I hope history would be kind to me
2. Don't let Terrorists divide us
3. I rule this country with clear conscience

While we all know assertions above are all false and untrue. But we all can agree that it's uncommon for Buhari to sound this way.

Buhari we all know is arrogant and has no feelings.
The Buhari we know loves Islam and is willing to kill to defend her.
Doesn't give a dam what anyone else thinks..

What changed?
Should we be worried for him especially after the USA ambassadorial visit?

Emir Sanusi wants Nigeria to ban child brides, Under-18 marriage
The Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi, on Thursday, implored Nigerians, especially Muslims, to give birth to the number of children they can cater for.

Mr Sanusi gave this advice while speaking at the opening of the 108th edition of Islamic Vacation Course (IVC), organised by the Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria (MSSN) Zone B, held at IVC Permanent Camp, along Lagos-Ibadan expressway in Ogun State.

The Kano monarch expressed a similar view in Kano a few days earlier.

Mr Sanusi, while speaking on the array of social problems bedeviling Nigeria, insisted that the ‘almajri’ challenge in Northern Nigeria is not a religious concern, but a social issue that needs urgent attention.

The almajiri challenge involves out-of-school children who are sent, often by their parents, to Islamic clerics to live and learn Quranic knowledge but often end up begging and doing menial work on the streets. Millions of almajri children roam Northern Nigerian streets amidst efforts of local and federal authorities to solve the problem.

While maintaining that there is a need to get all out of school children back to school, Mr Sanusi said that men should imbibe the habit of marrying the number of women they can cater for.

“If we continue this way, about 40 per cent extremely poor people will be in Nigeria. Poverty in the South West is 20 per cent, in the North, it is 80 per cent, Lagos is 8 per cent and Zamfara, it is 91 per cent.

“We have been talking about almajri for over 30 years. Why are people having family that they cannot maintain? Why are people marrying wives that they cannot maintain? The condition is that you are able to provide for your family.

“Instead of having many children, why not have the ones you can cater for? These are the fundamental questions we should ask ourselves. Most of these children roaming about the streets will be adult in the next 20 years and they will be the ones recruited as political thugs by the politicians in the next twenty years, if we don’t take good care of them now.

“This is my own advice that we must look at. These are not religious issues, they are social issues that need to be addressed”.

The Sultan of Sokoto while speaking urged Muslims not to be provoked by utterances from political or religious leaders but to continue to be law-abiding.

He urged Muslims to work for the unity of the country.

He said, “We will not work to divide Nigeria. We should not take arm, don’t be provoked by any utterances. Be law-abiding wherever you are.”

AbdurRazzak Alaro, a professor of the Department of Islamic Law, University of Ilorin, who was the guest speaker, while speaking on the topic “The Unification”, maintained that unity among Muslims is not an option but an obligation to all Muslims.

“Unity as a concept is very essential in the religion of Islam. God instructed Muslims to unite and work toward unity. Muslims are expected to be united and not disunited. Unity is not a matter of option but obligation. We must be courageous enough to call a space a spade. MSSN has a role to play in unifying Nigerian Muslims.”

PoliticsSowore's Detention And Release: What Next? by EmekaMD(op):
You see.. life has a way of aligning the stars.
Sometimes it come with travails, and other times it come with persecutions. But guess what ?it is only the tests of fire that makes a fine steel.

Sowore's incarcerations and eventual release. What's in next?

The almost 3 decades I've spent in this world has taught me that all publicity is a good publicity. But it seems Buhari in his almost 80 years of living didn't learn any part of these. He never learns anything anyway

Nnamdi Kanu started his Biafran struggle before 2015. Many people didn't know about him. Some of us who knew about IPOB before 2015 took them with a pinch of salt. We didn't give them any relevance just like we didn't care much about Uwazurike's Massob. Infact people like me regarded massob as group of miscreants and never do wells.
But guess what the arrest and incarceration of Kanu did for him and IPOB? He became arguably the most powerful figure in the SE (and part of SS) and the most popular figure in the whole of Nigeria althrough 2016 and beyond.

Sowore's arrest came with a lot of his own people, especially here on Nairaland denying him, calling him Ijaw and not Yoruba. I've never learnt this until his arrest.

Now that he's been released, i hope he becomes a Yoruba again. I hope he joins forces with the right people. I hope the walls of the prisons have made him more courageous.

Sowore we are with you on this.
Do not stop. Join forces with whoever believes in checking the excesses of the Fascist in Aso villa.

Welcome to becoming the man of 2020, welcome to becoming a hero of democracy.

You may not achieve the Eldorado that we seek, but posterity would remember that you tried.

Jisike!!

Aluta continua...

PoliticsWas Sowore Released As A Result Of USA Interference? by EmekaMD(op): 6:10pm On Dec 24, 2019
Days ago Femi Adesina released a statement that USA is not the world's police hence has no wherewithal to interfere in the travail of Sowore. Few days later the Attorney general of the federal, Malami orders his release, along with Dasuki.

Where was Malami and what was his stance until USA decided to intervene ?

You see, I am not a fan of the US interference in the internal issues of independent nations especially Nigeria. But if you wanna be honest with yourself you'd want to imagine what a Nigeria would have been with Buhari as a president (and without USA interference).

Why did Buhari had to wait for USA to tell him what is right for his country ?
You see why Nigeria is not yet ripe for total independence?
You see why USA (with all her errors ) is still welcomed in Nigeria as the world's police?

Buhari is a big let down to Nigeria and her people.
Las las Buhari has learnt that United states is not a state in Nigeria.

Compliments of the season my friends.
My love for Trump keeps increasing

He was only responsible to the people who are citizens of the then Northern Nigeria. In your own region, you have a premier who is responsible for your affairs, while going up to drag what is not yours?

North then was a region of Nigeria that has a semi autonomous status, which means it was a country within a country, it can organized her economy, reform her civil service as she want, give employment to whomever she want without the central government consent. The north has all the right to filled up her civil service position with only northerners just like the west and the east have that right.

The need to measured up to others is the reason why you are the most hated ethnic group on the face of earth, inferiority complex is a very big disease. what is the relationship between owning a passport and knowing how regional system work in saner climes?

If I may ask, how many of the said saner climes practice the same system of regionalism based purely on ethnicity practiced in Nigeria in the 60s
Really? Is that what Nigerian constitution says about citizenship and rights of residency ?

Why can't you read and be informed ?yet these same people go to other people's country to shout racism at the slightest prejudice.
But in their own country fellow citizens are told to stay in their regions and not cross the imaginary lines.

Have you asked ur government why its only one port that's fully functional and its im Lagos ? Why didn't they build one more in the east? How about other federal agencies ?

The answer is because Lagos is for all Nigerians. I have equal rights jus as you.

Fyi, Ahmadu bello was the sardunna of not just Nigerian muslims but in fact, west African muslims. He was chosen by his Muslim people to protect the interests of his fellow Muslim folks
Just as the ibo state union chose zik to look out for what will benefit the ibos in the new contraption and not nigerians. Ditto Awo and the yorubas

The sardunna never made any secret about how he feels towards southern Nigerians. But you ibos jumped into bed with him, regardless. He should have been our 1st PM but he chose to stay within his region and take care of his people than move to lagos to manage the affairs of all Nigerians.

Doesn't that tells you where the sardunna's heart lies? He loved his people more than nigerians. To you and your duplicitious ilk, that ' s an unpardonable crime punishable by death.
