myobjective:i hate that I'm arguing with an Ignoramus first of.. Secondly.. i won't try any further if your blockhead refuses to learn .. For the last time. He was the premier of the north. His responsibility was inclusive of every single Nigerian citizen resident in the North. He was the Premier of Northern Nigeria, not just Northerners in the northern Nigeria. North is a region of Nigeria, and Nigerians have equal rights to live and work anywhere in the country they so wished. That's how it should be ideally.. But blockheads and bigots like you who probably never owned a passport talk more of knowing how regional government work in saner climes are here making pointless arguments.. Go and sit down |
myobjective:do you know what regional system of government means ? And do you know what a federation mean? Now let me school you in this game. In a confederation, each regional government control its produce and resources, but does it equals treating the residents differently ? No. In a country. No matter the system of government, all citizens have equal rights in all aspects of the country they choose to reside in (US practice federal system, UAE practice similar ) check how this countries operate. But here in Nigeria its ok to employ a foreign over a fellow citizen cos you're low IQed and lazy to complete productively. Yet when they say divide the country so that no law mandates equal rights between you and igbos you shout Hate speech.. Spits |
NaMeAboki:i don't agree with you. Other regions were not ready to hire foreigners over their countrymen. Other regions did not singled out a region to hate on them. What then is wrong with Kanu?n He speaks about Northern dominance and you people started calling for his head but when your Saduana made similar statements its called love speech.. We're getting wiser.. This is interesting |
NaMeAboki:you re right. Saduana was making a love speech there. We live in a country where everyone was supposedly "equal citizens" and yet one man out of hate for another people claimed that he'd rather hire foreigners than his fellow countrymen. This is love speech. |
MicroBox:first of all you need to get seated for real and not me cos you're ignorant.. Second of all.. Your first priority as a politician is not to lick butt holes but to represent the interests of the people you're meant to represent and that includes vetting every bills that come ur desk whether it came from the president or not. Third of all. Democrats wants to impeach Trump cos he has an offense that likely indicted him. Now you can go on and argue this but that doesn't make it the context of our discuss here. We talking about Ahmed Lawan and his Rubber stamp Senate who has promised to assent to anything Buhari so wishes. And mind you..we didn't elect our Senators to be our opponents, we elected them to stand by us and represent us. So why do we all have to go to the streets to shout "we no go gree" when we elected and pay people to do that for us? |
Senate: death penalty for hate speech Me: let me say all i can now before the rubber stamp Senate finally makes that a law. Bubu wey mumu Bubu greatest Nigerian scammer ever liveth Lair Muhammad wey no get sense given him 100 mics and he has different lies for each one of them. Tinubu.. Oga Bullion van. |
CanadaOrBust:ur head get oil.. One bottle for you.. Meet me at mama Nkechi's tonight |
Rubber stamp Senate. The worst ever. Democracy means that the executive and the legislature should be separate and check each other (principle of checks and balances) If all the executive decides is right why then do we need the legislative? We should then scrap that arm and let the executive make laws too. That'd save us a lot of money too.. |
Difrent:i think there's something wrong with this argument. We don't care about equality. We care about level playing grounds. We care about equal headstart if any should be given. Let all man and his "chi" determine his future. But give them equal opportunities |
Hotfreezer:boring |
Hotfreezer:PDP supporter? And you're an Apc supporter ? Dude I dont do parties with you. Get ur 30k monthly stipend but don't rub it on our faces. Now bye |
helinues:Another NM sighted. Bye |
helinues:No I'm not saying the same thing with you man. |
helinues:I didn't see PDP or APC in this post. Get ur glasses Mr |
AllenSpencer:yeah.. Including python dance when they protest. Thank you don't mention |
How do i explain this to my child ? How do i make him believe that he is not a second class citizen in Nigeria He has labored so hard and scored 5x higher than Haruna in the just concluded weac exam yet Haruna got accepted into the unity school and he got rejected simply because he is from Anambra and is expected to score 10x more than Haruna before he could get accepted into the same unity school.. The only different between my son and Haruna is state of Origin. My son is from Anambra and Haruna is from Kastina. They are both Nigerians. Same age. He is crying.. he has always wanted to go to a Unity school. He has worked really hard for it. Should i tell him that he is expected to have a higher IQ than Haruna ? What then should i tell him when Haruna ends up being named as the chief justice of the federation over him, or the Inspector general of police, or Chief of Army staff ? Why can't we all be given the same head start and be judged on meritocracy? He is in pains

Do number of children by men and you'd be having crazy figures like 60s and 80s up in the north. Guess where this kids end up? Ur guess is as good as mine.. |
I simply cannot imagine how one stupid Senator would wake up one day and propose a bill like this. Just like they do up there in the north, catch a small offender and cut his limbs in the name of sharia while they go ahead and praise the bigger offender for similar offenses. Nigeria is no extension of ur caliphate. Keep such barbaric laws up there in the north. How about Nigerians utilize this opportunity to push for death penalty for corrupt politicians instead ? But guess what.. Ass lickers and those who barely benefit no more than 30k monthly stipends (as members of the BMO, along with the simply uninformed Sai Baba chanters)would come for ur head instead. Truth is.. the people we elect to represent us are actually the true representation of who we are as a people. They portray the average mentality of most Nigerians. Deal with it with my people.. I don port oh! |
Mynd44:did you also run? |
I've been mostly a critic of this administration, and i believe my critics has been for the right reasons. But on the land borders closure: i stand with the Buhari administration on this. My reasons.. You'll agree with me that fake and substandard (mostly contraband ) products make their ways into the country mostly through the porous land borders. Were still, these products are produced outside of Africa and the import taxes are collected by the neighboring countries yet they are sold in Nigeria. Secondly .. activities of the Fulani marauders and murderers have either abated or disappeared since this land borders closure. You may want to contend this but my observation seems mostly accurate. Thirdly.. very few Nigerians (mostly corrupt border officials and the businessmen who ply ply these borders) are mostly the people complaining . Average Nigerians may be having it hard for now too (cos of high market prices), but I'm positive that the "demand and supply" natural market policies would evntually effect some positive changes when local production is driven high as a result of this closure. But i won't end without shaking some tables. How can Buhari justify border closures when he himself is still patronizing foreign hospitals with all the resources at his disposal ?. This is despite promising to end medical tourism. This is his 5th year (is he still blaming Jonathan for not being able to build a hospital at least for himself and household?) How about the national assembly budgeting billions for cars manufactured outside Nigeria: companies that dont pay tax to Nigeria. Even if they dont wanna buy from Innoson, how about they buy from locally assembling plants in Nigeria? At least those ones would pay taxes to our us? These things tire me i swear. |
ornicus:Dogs and Baboons soaking in blood is figurative and could be used in many contexts. The question is. What context has Buhari used it in? To ans this lemme walk you down the memory lane. Post 2011 election.. Buhari lost and thousands of properties were lost, 100s were killed. Guess this is the meaning of the hausa phrase you referring to? Dude.. you sinking so low and worst thing is.. you think you making any sense. |
ornicus:i will form a parallel government.. a complete and empty speech ? Do you remember why Sowore is still in detention by now despite all court orders ? Truth is.. i hate double standard never-do wells. Can you imagine repeating just exactly same threat of forming a parallel government today and walking home home afterwards ? Dogs and baboons soaking in blood an hausa phrase. What exactly does it mean ? Does it in any way means a threat to violence and loss of life ? C'mon now go Get a life Turn the goal posts and position them well just to serve ur wicked and incompetent mind. I have better words to describe you.. but I'll save that for another senseless mention from you |
ornicus:how about if you threaten to form a parallel government ? How about if you threaten the whole country and promise to soak the dogs and baboons in blood, how about if you divide the country into 97 and 5%? Lets call a spade by its names. We all know how it all started. Treat the cause and not the symptoms and you'll get it right.. |
etrouble:boring. Next time reasonable minds are discussing hide ur face |
Mynd44:what is hate speech ? There's no exact definition to what is hate speech. Its contextual mostly and subjective too. Buhari and Apc could decide to "give the dog a bad name and kill him " if you know what i mean. Keep supporting media giggling until it gets to you.. Keep feeding the wolf |
What people fail to understand is that the definition of hate speech is subjective and the government of the day would use it to gag dissenting voices. Who defines what we shall call hate speech ? Call Buhari a failure and its hate speech. Call Lai Muhammed a liar and its hate speech. We need a law that'll hang the corrupt politicians, not the imaginary hate speakers |
Just thinking out loud. What if Death by hanging was the punishment for hate speech before 2015. What' would happen to Amechi who threatened to Form a parallel government should Apc loose 2015 election. What would have happened to Buhari who threatened to "soak the dogs and baboons in blood" How about Lai Muhammad, the Architect in Chief of all the lies and hate speeches in Nigeria? Or is this the typical example of "Aga fee ogwe asi ogwe jiri" ? (when you successfully crossed the bridge you wish it to fall apart ) I'm just thinking out loud
|
omenka:You pray the bill succeeds? What you don't know is that the definition of hate speech is subjective. Remember that Buhari and Apc will not last in power forever. Donald Trump receives more insult, Jonathan received even more. Hope you and ur own gets consumed by the same bill your'e wishing to survive. You don't fight an existing problems with force, Apc and Buhari are the creators of the hate in the country today. Certain people didn't vote for you and you said they they're 5% and should be given backseat treatment. Are you the president of only the people that voted you or the president for all the country ? They know how they created the problem and the solution to it. |
doctokwus:you don't know what you saying mister. Where do you practice? so I'd make sure no one i know comes to ur clinic |
Lets get rid of Tinubu.. |
youngprofdguru:Jose who? Park well abeg. |
Josh44s:many skills can get one at least up and doing in Nigeria. Examples are electricians, solar panels installation and maintenance (i have a friend who feeds from this) Many more man. Jus don't underrate any skill. Ask yourself. How old are you ? How many more years do i have to live? If i continue with what I'm doing now is there any hope that things will get better ? Forget about motivational speakers. You need a working plan before you can make it.. Look for a skill that you've seen people prospering from, do whatever it takes to learn it. Its Its not late to start learning it now, especially if you consider the implications of living another 30 to 50yrs poor and struggling. Suffer now, have it easier tomorrow. |
