The things that COVID-19 made clear 1. United States is no longer the leading country. 2. China won the 3rd world war without firing a missile.♂ 3. Vladímir Putin is a visionary. 4. Prevention saves more lives than acting at the last moment . 5. Health professionals ⚕⚕⚕ are worth more than a footballer⚽. 6. Europeans are not as educated as they appear . 7. We are not mistaken when we ask for more hospitals "and less war". 8. Children occupy a privileged place in nature. 9. Oil is worthless in a society without consumption. 10. Death does not distinguish race, color, or social strata ♂. 11. Human beings are opportunistic and despicable, no matter their socioeconomic position when raising prices . 12. Toilet paper is more important than food. 13. Social networks bring us closer, but it is also the means to create fake news and hatred with each other . 14. Now we know how animals feel in zoos. 15. Today's children no longer know how to play without internet or TV. 16. There are those who earn millions and do not serve humanity. 17. A computer engineer is important, he already knows where the internet fell. 18. Health care workers⚕⚕ never give up. 19. Children are now educated as free thinkers by their parents. 20. Does aid favor the wealthy, and the needy? Those who live day by day are disoriented. 21. We know who really cares for our welfare and who only uses us for their benefit. 22. Buhari sees himself as an emperor who should be revered by Nigerians rather than someone employed to serve 23. Humans♂ are the real viruses on the planet. 24. The planet regenerates quickly without humans. 25. We are not prepared for a pandemic 26. Politicians take the opportunity to pull the rug from the rival even at the expense of their populations. 27. MORE SHOULD BE INVESTED IN HEALTH RATHER THAN FESTIVALS AND DESIGNER ITEMS. A little BIG reflection |
In medical school I learnt that disease management is tailored to suit a particular patient's need, though two people may have a similar condition. It's on person to person basis. We don't have to follow verbatim the way the west solves their problems. We only need to learn what they do and then see how we can modify it to fit the needs of our own society. The west can feed their citizens even if they have to sit at home for one year. They have special intervention funds meant for that and even the poorest does not have issues with eating 3 times a day. America for example has food stamps for the people who don't have jobs. How about Nigerian? Over 80% of Nigerians live from hand to mouth. That means they need daily hustle to be able to eat on daily everyday. How can you tell a keke driver who makes 2500 a day and spends almost everything but the next day to stay home for 2weeks ? How can you tell a bus driver to sit a home for 2weeks considering how much he makes on daily basis which would allow him little or no savings after fending for his family. Same goes for a bigger percentage of the regular Nigerian households. Covid-19 has less than 3% fatality rate and 2weeks starvation has over 80% fatality rate. Which one would you choose if you were in his position ? He who is already on the ground fears no downfall Remedy.. I'm my opinion the solution is a little bit controversial but may be more feasible here in Nigeria. Federal government should find a way to isolate the elderly people and people with comorbidities. The rest of the population should be allowed to go on with their daily activities. The mortality rate is lower compared to starvation in the healthier population. |
Begi begi country. Una get money una no wan build una own house. U dey rent hotel dey form jagaban. Now hotel don close gate and rain dey fall. Motor don jam Egugun |
As a private citizen no one is entitled to any donations from him. He can choose to donate or not. Bless him if he chooses to donate as the other good Nigerians. |
Should we now balkanize ang go our separate ways ? Seems like the viable solution |
helinues:no.. we are smart and we know that this is not the right time to put pressure on the government and by extension causing deaths of millions at this perilous time. Unfortunately the only language the government understands is "strike" and this is not the time to do that. We swore an "hippocratic oath" to be ethically impulsive. If you the rest of the masses are smart you'd know that it's ur obligation to push the government to compensate the doctors and healthcare workers better. Because a doctor would go extra miles when he feels well compensated and happy. |
No thank you. Stay back in Abuja. Aso clinic has billions of naira budgeted for it every single year. It' is supposed to have more facilities that anywhere else. |
I hope Bubu is going to donate all the billions he had budgeted for the aso clinic after all the clinic still doesn't have any syringes. He may as well go bring out all the money where he hid them all. |
This was not my 2020 resolution. Perhaps this is the vision 2020 Nigeria has always talked about

In my opinion.. Lagos clinic should reject Abba Kyari or Buhari or any other person from the Aso Rock. I know this may sound cruel but why should we treat them in the hospitals they've all neglected ? Don't they have aso clinic ? Didn't they spend alot more money in aso clinic alone than is spent in the whole of the government hospitals nationwide ? Why then should we care about them now ? They should go to Uk or Germany as usual. We re already used to it. Leave the government hospitals for the commoners ..

Thinking With You... Where Will President Buhari Receive Next Medical Check Up? By Bayo Oluwasanmi The million naira question is: Where will President Buhari receive the next medical check-up? If Buhari had built just one modern hospital in Abuja during his first term, he’ll have nothing to worry about his medical treatment today. We pray and hope that President Buhari will find equally effective alternative treatment for his long overdue medical follow up appointment. With the exception of President Nelson Mandela who received treatment and care in his own country until he passed away, no African president received medical treatment in their own countries. Once African presidents assumed power, they become tyrannical tin gods to be revered, worshipped, and addressed as “His Excellency.” They turn their citizens into paupers at best, and serfs at worst. They become untouchable and invincible. Public institutions such as hospitals are not suitable or standard enough for them to receive medical treatment. Having turned their hospitals into abattoirs, they make overseas hospitals their permanent medical centres where they receive treatment. The list of African presidents who died while receiving treatment in overseas reads like a page lifted from the diary of a funeral home. 1. After 26 years in office, President Ahmed Sekou Toure of Guinea at age 62 passed away in a US hospital while undergoing cardiac treatment. 2. In February 2005, after 38 years in office, President Gnassingbe Eyadema died on board the aircraft that was evacuating him for emergency treatment abroad. 3. In December 2008, Guinea’s President Lansana Conte died in Conakry. As president for 24 years, he received treatment in Switzerland and Morocco throughout the years he was in office. 4. In May 2010, Nigeria’s President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua died at 58 in Abuja. He had returned from Saudi Arabia two months earlier where he had gone for treatment. 5. On September 6, 2019, Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe died at Gleneagles Hospital in Singapore. He ruled for 40 years. 6. Zambia’s Michael Sata ruled for three and died at King Edward VII’s Hospital in the UK where he received treatment. 7. Levy Mwanawasa ruled Zambia from 2002-2008. After he was struck by stroke, he went to France for medical treatment. He died at Hospital D’instruction Des Armees Percy, Clamart. 8. Ethiopia’s Meles Zenawi Asres was prime minister from 1995-2012. He sought medical treatment in Brussels, Belgium where he died. 9. Guinea Bissau’s Mallam Bacai Santa’ was flown to France for treatment for advanced diabetes. He died in the French hospital. 10. Gabon’s Omar Bongo ruled Gabon for 42 years. He travelled to Barcelona, Spain for treatment of cancer. He died in the hospital. Most of them died far from home, bitterly, lonely, and humiliated. With massive resources at their disposal, none of them thought it fit and wise to build a world class hospital in one of the African countries. But greed, absolute power, and wickedness informed their behaviour and actions. In his 2015 campaign, Buhari promised to make “medical tourism” a thing of the past. He vowed that he and other government officials would not seek medical treatment overseas. Since he became president, the opposite is true. No contemporary African president rivals Buhari in receiving treatment abroad. We know why the hospitals in Nigeria and in Africa are on life support. According to WHO report, 15% to 20% allocated for healthcare in Africa ended up in private pockets. For example, in Nigeria, corruption and cronyism shifted needed resources from the healthcare sector to the pockets of the president’s men and his party. President Buhari at this period of Coronavirus, (like other senior citizens) is the one more than any other Nigerian who needs a 21st century hospital at home where he can easily access medical treatment and scheduled follow up appointments. The whole world is literally locked down because of COVID-19. We are immobilized and frozen as it were - for now. President Buhari’s follow up appointment in London is overdue. He can’t travel to London because of COVID-19. His doctors in London cannot come to Abuja. Yes, he can access telemedicine. But there’s a limit that telemedicine can go. His follow up requires his being there physically. The million naira question is: Where will President Buhari receive the next medical check-up? If Buhari had built just one modern hospital in Abuja during his first term, he’ll have nothing to worry about his medical treatment today. We pray and hope that President Buhari will find equally effective alternative treatment for his long overdue medical follow up appointment. Mr. President, are thoughts and prayers are with you. May the Lord bless and keep you! http://saharareporters.com/2020/03/24/thinking-you-where-will-president-buhari-receive-next-medical-check-bayo-oluwasanmi

And VP eventually met with Bubu. How they've equipped the aso clinic cos London hospital don close for foreigners oh.. Bubu fix ur hospital or motor go jam Egugun for express |
I hope African leaders & religious leaders can now see why they need to stop stealing & collecting from the poor and do more for the continent like building WORLD CLASS HOSPITALS because they might also need to use them. Deji.. My take.. Now that all the Airports are closed and many countries are closed to foreigners, what would happen should Buhari's ear infection suddenly resurfaces (God forbid cos I don't wish anyone evil ). What would have been the case if Yusufs motorcycle accident had happened today ? What would happen if any of the federal and state legislatures and leaders who flies around whenever they have the slightest itch ? Now is the time for Buhari to fix all the hospitals and ban medical tourism like he proposed. Equip Aso clinic today cos you or your own might need it tomorrow. This is a call not just for Buhari but for all who have the means. You run to India and other countries for medical treatment but those cases can be managed here if you had invested in the health care. Nigerian doctors are well qualified like those you run to, we don't just have the responsible facilities like they do.. I come in peace

Scam |
Other World leaders address their citizens especially in critical moments such as this. Let them know you understand their plights, address some issues raised, speak to them about the plans you're taking. This goes a long way to assuage their fears. But I've since forgotten that there was something called media briefing since Bubu took office. 2023 please do fast and come. If you can overtake 2021 it'll be best.. Chia |
Ifeanyi Uba won the election fair and square. He was the popular candidate for that election and he got the highest votes |
Inasmuchas I believe its only right that people should not live on the pipeline tracks, I believe its only right for the government to compensate those affected Nigerians. Federal government has built some housing through the federal ministry of housing, those affected Nigerians should be relocated and not left shelterless especially wen government is taking over those spaces. FG should also put plans in place to relocate all other people wrongfully occupying spaces close to the pipeline tracks. Build houses and relocate them forcefully. Other governments do that but you must first of all make provisions for them with basic facilities like electricity, water and roads.. This way Nigerians would rally against any anlawful occupants refusing to move. |
Tinubu had to be given ultimatums and literally had to be forced to speak out during the Amoketun saga. He also had to be drugged out before he could mutter any words wen fulanis herdsmen were busy killing people. But he didn't wait to be called out before making his his position known on the Oshiomole saga. Does it mean his personal interest is more important to him than that of his people ? Only time time will tell. "Egugun be careful na Express u dey cross" I don warn you |
