Crime / Re: Timothy Adegoke's Autopsy Report Is Out! by Emekuz(m): 10:26am On Dec 09, 2021
The thing tire me sef.
You could know that the case has been swept under the carpet. For the doctor telling us that all organs are intact but decomposed. That shows there will not be further test carried out on the deseased. Case closed!!!.
Nigeria.. hmm!
Buffalo2:
Honestly. This one that everything is "intact" and vital organs "could not be subjected to test", wetin con remain? case is about to close as usual
Crime / Re: Timothy Adegoke's Autopsy Report Is Out! by Emekuz(m): 10:19am On Dec 09, 2021
I wondered too. Then what is the essence of the autopsy if the cause of death can not be ascertained. There is no point at all since the doctors are not even sure the real cause of death rather than coming out with speculations
Odetokun3:
Long overdue!!!

Autopsy in Nigeria is not different from guesswork.

Severe trauma? and that is a conclusion

Almost every dead died of severe trauma now! that's not a logical conclusion tho

and it took forever to conduct an autopsy and the same autopsy said it is severe trauma?

Autopsy that was meant to give an answer is the same asking another question

Burying or dumping him without following the legal procedure is tantamount to Murder.

May his soul and souls of all faithful who had departed rest in perfect peace.

zero responsibilitiy everywhere!

Corruption in the school
corruption in the religious centres
corruption in the health sector
corruption in the market
corruption in the leadership
corruption in tradition
corruption in the media
corruption everywhere and we all want a better Nigeria?

I wondered how he got into the meeting too. He thought he could free himself by saying the school has a poor monitoring system and also him not in the school anymore. Everything now bounced on him.

Thank you very much for your Swift response.I have read through almost the requirements and processes for applying. Pls I would like the know if since I have my BSc certificate and certified true copy of my transcript from my school. Do I still need to go through by school for them to forward my transcript and cert to Wes or I can go ahead and scan these academic doc to Wes.
Also do I need to scan both my cert and transcript or transcript alone. Thanks
Naughtyvirgin:
Well, since she's younger, she's better off being the PA. I doubt if a 2 weeks course would surfice or pass for a canadian equivalent, I may be wrong though. However that was why I suggested any of the other professional certifications she can give a shot (ACCA, BCS, CIMA). She can take any of these and evaluate as a two or more certificate.

Nb: You ain't sending your certificates, you'd only need to upload a scanned copy on your Wes profile or any other evaluation body you use. And as for the price, it might vary due to dollar rate, I did mine early January and it was about 83k for my two or more certificates evaluation.

Well, for those saying it's super story or Covid-19 is not real... I have this to tell you. If you think at your younger age you are free or asymptomatic of the most dreaded disease, pls consider the old ones and those with health complications at home. We all will not loose our love ones.

All these allegations against the greatest of the greatest? I studied for both BSc and MSc in UI and I always feel the atmosphere is cool and serene enough for anyone to study. No one can make you feel inferior except yourself.
God bless you for this observation. I can confirm this too. I am also a graduate of the Great UNIBEN. Truly, virtually every lecturers in UNIBEN aren't friendly and accommodating with his/her students. There is no lecturer/student relationship. I noticed this here in UI as I am running my Msc program. Virtually every UI lecturers are friendly and accommodating to both their undergraduates/postgraduates students. Infact it's like the opposite of UNIBEN. Although, I will forever be grateful to this great citadel of learning; UNIBEN. UNIBEN makes every student to be independent. You got study hard like your whole life depends on it... Not just study hard.. but be smart about it. It does workout if you want to come out the best in your class. One thing I detest most about some of UNIBEN lecturers is that they hardly give room for one-on-one interaction, for you to learn ideas or they been a mentor to you. All man for himself. You got to be independent.

Crime / Re: Woman Who Slapped Policeman 13 Times Arrested In Oyo by Emekuz(m): 6:52pm On May 06, 2020
Ginaz:
That’s why it’s good to control your temper . She said he slapped her first but when she retaliated who was more calmer ?

Ironically the policeman was the calmer one even though he was the one who might have instigated the issue in the first place . He showed a great level of restraint the woman lacked . Even when people were admonishing her to stop she kept being aggressive and insulted the policeman .

She’s an aggressive, hot tempered lady with no bit of control or composure . If she had composed herself very well as the policeman did , she would have been vindicated. It’s not every action that needs aggression.

She’s at fault and whatever the policeman did to her first doesn’t simply untangles her from her bad behavior. She behaved badly and messed up big time .

Those of you saying the policeman slapped her first .. if someone kills your dog, will you simply go and kill the person? Do that and end up in jail!!
God bless you for this. I don't know why some people are so daft in their judgement. Imagine the woman claiming the policeman slapped her, she retaliated by slapping the policeman multiple times. .. Even someone was trying cautioning the woman at the background but she kept on slapping. Like you said, who was more calm... Of course the policeman! If that stupid woman was to have any weapon... She would have used it on the policeman. Even as at that, if she had slapped the policeman once or twice.. We would have said its anger in retaliation. But she kept on slapping the policeman multiple times....that one has passed anger o....its stupidity. I swear she should thank her stars that she met with a very calm policeman. If it were to be an aggressive policeman or soldier, I am pretty sure a bullet would have landed and the whole thing will be swept under the carpet. She should thank God for her life while in prison

Did the police not assault her first before they start video taping the part where she retaliated.

If you understand yoruba from the video you will get the full gist
Just imagine what you are saying. Yes it was agreed the policeman slapped her first and she retaliated. The issue here is why would she slapped the policeman multiple times. If she had slapped the policeman once, it would have been a look over case. She has no fear at all. Slapping a policeman multiple times. I am sure that's what she did to her husband that made him disappeared into thin air. Very aggressive woman indeed.

How did they contract it. And what made them go for the testing. How did they get tested if they weren't showing symptoms.

It is this knowledge that will make us understand this disease better.

The world has been sharing information on this disease. But some we still don't understand. If you are asymptomatic how do you infect other people. You are not coughing or sneezing so how do people pick up the droplets from you?

Being asymptomatic does not necessarily mean that you can not infect others. In that case, one is simply a carrier. One can unknowingly touch any his/her body fluids either from nose or eyes and make contact with any fomites or through hand shake.

You have said it all. Virtually everyone in Nigeria has the virus. Just that most of us Dont have that opportunity to get tested like those pple in higher offices as we all appear to be asymptomatic. With the records so far... We always hear of cases from travellers and those in higher offices. Abegi... Virtually everyone has the virus as we appear not to show signs. However, contracting the virus isn't a death sentence. We all need to build up our immune system.

In terms of good structure, fast academic calendar, condusive environment for learning, character, among others, UNILORIN is much more better than UNIBEN. And that's why UNILORIN has remained most sought out university for the past 4 yrs. In 2014, UNILORIN was ranked the best university in Nigeria and in the same year, the university was rated among top 20 universities in Africa which makes UNILORIN to be the first Nigeria institution to reach that height. UNIBEN is only known for cultism, apart from that they dnt have any thing to point out to. You can prove me wrong on that.

Oya tell me what UNIBEN has achieved despite being an older university.

You are very rude in your manner of approach. Anyways, I dnt blame you cos your username says it all.
Hahaha... Pls let's forget about all these arguments on which school is better or not. But bro... just as UNILORIN was ranked the first in the country In a particular year.. so also did the ALMIGHTY UNIBEN. Pls do me a favour by surfing the internet and check the 2012 Webometric ranking of schools in the continent. UNIBEN ranked FIRST amongst Nigerian Universities. UNN has won it so did UI and OAU. So pls... there is no point arguing which school is the best or not. Everything depends on individual ability to face and contribute his/her own quota positively as a graduate in the world of today. My opinion though!

Family / Re: My Wife Lied About Her Genotype by Emekuz(m): 12:14am On Aug 12, 2018
Aremolekunowo:
Greetings to my people of nairalanders, I met my wife around 2015 and we dated for almost a year and attended all the necessary church and family teachings.

She told me she was a single mother, and all the men that dated her before I came to her left her because of that,I promise I won't leave her for having a baby outside wedlock.

The relationship keep on growing and I told her about my AS genotype and I made it clear to her that nothing will make me marry AS lady because of sickle cell children palavar. she told me that she is genotype AA. We continue our relationship did introduction and fixed our wedding date, now a month and two weeks to our wedding we went for mandatory test in our church clinic behold she failed the genotype test it was AS, right there I told her I no dey do again, she rejected the result and claimed vehemently that she is AA. second day we did confirmatory test it was still the same thing.

Her parents called me and told me both of them were AA and there is no way their daughter can be AS gene. they later brought some previous test (fake) of her AA stuff. I was bullied by every one around to go ahead since it was just few weeks to the wedding that it was manipulations, though my spirit was not willing again but I was compelled by all to go ahead that the thing has change back to AA she also said so that it has changed back to original AA. We go ahead and marry sha. She took in immediately after nine month she gave birth to a baby boy which I named Ikechukwu though we are both Yoruba's but I love Igbo people so much because I grew up with many of them. After some months after birth, Ikechukwu begin some strange sickness we begin to take the boy in and outside hospitals, spending the little income I was getting I decided to do Genotype test for d boy my wife resist it but I went ahead behold it was SS(sickle cell)

immediately I show her the result she went on her knees begging me, I called her father and informed him about it he invites me to his place and he too was begging me that he was also AS and not AA as he claimed before; now every is begging me again that I should not break my marriage that is based on deception, I have done everything that will make her leave my house except violent she refused to go. Every one is bullying me and begging me again, now non of them have supported me in any way for the boy expensive treatment.

IK is now a year old, am not willing to have another child with her again, please my people what should I do , and what's the best way to make her leave my house for at leat 2 to 3 years? please advice your brother and son, thanks and sorry for the long epistle God bless you all.

@OP... It is so sad that the innocent child has to go through this pain. However, You dont need to divorce your wife as she is your wife despite the fact the union was based on deceit. Moreover, You and your wife should work together to help the poor boy's situation medically. Also, the deed has been done, there is possibility that your next three children to be SS free...since, there is only 1(one SS) as to every first 4(four) offsprings produce. There is only 25% chance of giving birth to an SS patient.

If Ighalo had scored the goal, would you be here saying bullshit? What about the first penalty, did anyone even spot it before the ref blew? So he wasn't bias when he awarded the first penalty which wasn't even worth it but suddenly became biased afterwards sore losers.

That was one of the best ref so far in the tournament.
No sane ref would award that penalty because it didn't in anyway stop or even interrupt a goal scoring opportunity in fact it even aided the Nigerian striker and Ighalo only started protesting after he had missed a perfect chance
Guy may God bless you richly... This is the fact you just said. When the ref awarded the first penalty even when Nigerians never expected it.. we didn't blame the ref. The so called stupid as slow as snail Ighalo ... after he missed that wonderful chance to score that goal... he now went and protested for AWOOF penalty. Of which that was never a penalty but HEAD TO HAND BALL. it's obvious we never have any good striker... eheanach, ighalo are just flop in this tournament.
