HealthRe: N31m Worth Of Fake Soap Inpounded In Lagos by emiemi(f): 1:46pm On Nov 03, 2009
Like someone said, fake soap is beta than fake drugs but why must we allow fake products into our country?

It only means some guys at the custom office aren't doing what they are being paid to do. I recently heard

about the fake drugs again. For goodness sake, why are we soooo greedy for gain? The punishemnt for
this kinda crime should be grave to deter others. That is money doesn't pass under the table o undecided
FamilyRe: Involving Extended Family In Decisions - Is It Right by emiemi(f): 1:32pm On Nov 03, 2009
No, it is absolutely wrong for your man to do this. But, wait a min, you mentioned that
he has been doing this a long time now. I guess you knew this was gonna go outta
hand but you tried to keep cool. You need to give him a very serious heart-to heart
on this. tell him how exactly it makes you feel, to have no secret between you. It's
a bad trait, bad enuf for a woman much more for a MAN. You shd also talk to the sis,
let her put herself in your shoes and say if she'll enjoy hearing ''my sista said'' from the
hubby.

I saw it my dear, it's that bad. lol
She doesn't even have the experience of taking care of an infant else she will
know that the breast milk is what the child should still be feeding on. She's just
jealous that she doesn't have what the poster has. It's all left to yinka to tell her
exactly what she wants else the woman willl continue with this behaviour.

Good move, You never know until you're a victim.
I left my former apartment because of a noisy mosque. Their speaker was directly shooting into my room. At some point, i was almost running mad.
In order not to run kolo, i moved my family into another area. I made sure there was NO church or mosque in the vicinity
It's hard to find such an apartment where u won't find either churches or mosques.
My area has about 6 mosques and 8 churches and I'm not exaggerating.

I tell you one can become irrational after a long time with the noises.
Christianity EtcRe: Lagos Shuts Redeemed Christian Church Of God, Academy Press And Other Companies. by emiemi(f): 9:44am On Oct 31, 2009
The operation of the religious organizations in Nigeria is really crazy.

This explains in part why some peeps in Nigeria can think sensibly
i.e their heads have been daily bombarded with noise here and there
so much that the brain is used to turmoil and disorganized thots.
I welcome this development by the able gov. kiss

Some of the issue actually stem off as a disease. Imbalanced hormones or sumtin.
Well, just so to be fair, I will say let them live but not for them to corrupt growing
children. It's unnatural but then like I said it could be a disease which the person
can't help.

@poster
We do know (although not sure) he can afford more than the 15k from what you have said.
Most bankers live large on loans and get entangled therein. They try to make 'smart moves'
like the guy in the thread above. Pls, be content and encourage you hubby to do so too.
Like I earlier said though, don't start comparing yourself with some other families who earn
6 and 7 digits, you no go fit survive.
Keep supporting as long as you are capable of doing so. List the items and sometimes let him
'help' get some of them at the supermarket. Then he might see your point. It all has to with
dialogue.

@ Poster
You are dealing with a very needy person in dire want of emotional and social validation. Assuming she's not diabolical (you cannot know that until it's too late), it is still an unhealthy relationship.

People like her will NEVER heed indirect communication - "Haba, are you my husband's second wife?" - Lai lai!

No be fight - Make sure your husband is home; maybe in the bedroom, then tell her you dislike being choked like that; list examples. Set the rules of engagement. Fellow church member ko, fellow saint ni!
One last thing - Never, ever, absolutely never leave your baby with her; not for a second! Needy people are not balanced.
Seconded

Also, maybe you should start locking your doors as well. (what people will learn to keep others at bay only God knows) I bet you are not used to locking doors like me. cheesy

@poster
Some peeps are just like that and unless you speak up, then you will have to continue enduring her.
Except off course you move out of the house (that's the extreme case). I understand she is showing
affection and trying to 'call her own child to the world' as the yorubas say by being nice to children
around her and doing all that she can BUT you obviously are pissed. You need to have a heart-to-heart
with her. Tell her exactly what you want, how you want it and how important those things are to you.
If she is genuine, she will understand but if she has other things in mind, she might even stop saying
hello. Try as much as possible to be positive in your choice of words (thank , appreciate and thank her as
many times during the talk). That way, she will know that it's just that you need a lil of your private moments
and she'll respect that.
PropertiesLand Value Was Overrated . by emiemi(op): 3:37pm On Oct 29, 2009
Someone sold 2plots of land to my hubby at 200k each with total cost (i.e. kolanut money,
wine for 'olori ebi', signing of documents, agent's fee plus cornerpiece) running into about
600k at a location in Ogun state close to the mosimi depot. That was like 2yrs ago. Now he
wants to sell it and he was told the value of the land is just about 200k for the two plots.
The guys that 'lured' him into buying it pretended to be friends and that they were doing him
good then. How can people be so deceitful?

The level of corruption in the banking sector (which is just one of the many) is rather appalling. Anyone who
doesn't indulge in such will feel exactly like Sanusi has expressed.

I'm not surprised at some comments here becos the young men of today will do worse than the present
generations at the top of these organisations. They will call it 'National cake'. sad cry

Uhnnnnnnnn Oyb

You are saying to me that men that don't give their wives enough money (when we know they can afford it) are saving for the rainy days!! indeed

What a good 90% of men do is spend the extra cash they don't give their wives and family on their mistresses.
So many men can't spend half of what they spend on their girlfriends on their wives!

I repeat it, the only reason she is complaining is because she knows the guy can afford to give her more money comfortably.

Saving money is another issue
A man that can't take care of his family is worse than an infidel.
You have a point here sha. The woman definitely knows he can afford to bring out more but he isn't willing to.

Hmmm!

I get your point. I never knew it was that bad. Can't blame the judge that much then.

This is the kind of constitution we will get when we select the likes of Adedibu and Uba to formulate constitution.
I tell you, it's unbelievable. In a land where there are learned and reasonable people, touts make law.
How much ironic can it get when in a land where more than 50% are in good health, a sick man presides?

Well said, maybe you should understand that anybody who is willing to pay b/w 100-300k for a surrogate mother won't see spending extra 10k for preliminary tests as anything. Clinics where these things are done always run tests on the would-be carriers first before anything is done. Maybe you should read the article on [b]http://www.sunnewsonline.com/webpages/features/citysun/2006/mar/05/citysun-05-03-2006-001.htm[/bJust as
. You will see the various tests like hepatitis, hiv etc test that are conducted before the procedure. No reasonable man or woman would want a diseased person to carry their kids for them except of course they don't want that child for keeps. .
Now, that is surrogacy, 'normal and legit' not as done by some bunch of prostitutes as described by the poster.

honestly think people should be allowed to live their life the way it best suits them. If a lady decides to hire her womb for Nine months to some1 who is willing to pay her for it, I don't think anyone should criticize her cos if such a person should come to you (as a distant relative) for money to start up a business, you will readily remember your own immediate responsibilities.
In a society where there are a lot of evil happenings, the way to go is the legitimate and organised way of doing things. Not helping some couple all in the name of prostitution. You'll be surprised that some of these ladies will resort to blackmail to get more money from those couples. But when things are done legally, they have no chance.
