Education › Re: Help...your Advice Is Needed by Emmaesty(f): 8:38am On Dec 31, 2016 |
Hmmmmm
You are an art student and you want to study something relating to Graphics design...... I'm sorry but I don't think that is possible dear.
Unilag offers Creative arts as a course tho but it depends on what you really want. For example, you can study business administration and still go for training in your graphics design. Nigeria of today is not about what you studied, but what you can do.
I know of graphic designers who studied courses such as microbiology, political science, music and they are great designers.
My advice is this: Study any course that tickles your fancy(i suggest Bus admin) and still develop yourself in graphics by attending tutorials. In four years from now, you'll become a graduate and also a graphic design expert

Education › Re: On Carryover Course In Final Year Would I Re-sit For Exam by Emmaesty(f): 8:10am On Dec 31, 2016 |
maiyetan90: i had a carryover in my final year (Edu403) from Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba-Akoko, ondo state. i had written numerous letters to the H.O.D for upgrading of result cos i scored 34% and nothing has been done since 2014/2015 Academic session. Thinking on visiting the Dean Student Affairs or please what should i do? All kind of advise are welcomed, no insult please. Hi dear, If I'm correct, your school is presently in its 2016/2017 academic session right? I honestly advise you to pay another school fees and write the course again. Things like this should not be taken lightly, whether you visit the dean of student affairs or not, nothing is going to change except you have a close relationship with your HOD which I doubt you have. The course is a compulsory course and cannot be waived. Please prepare yourself for an extra year. P. S. The fact that you are spilling doesn't mean you are a failure, we all have different paths to success. |

omoISEYIN: question 1 With your BSC you start at intermediate 2 question2
it depends on lots of things your registration fee + acceptance fee + exemption fee + study pack + exam fee all should be within the range of 55 to 60 k. Don't quote me on the amount its jus to give you an overview of what to expect. Subsequent stages are less expensive as you wont be paying Reg, Acceptance and Exemption fee again.
questions 3: With your BSC and all things been equal that you pass all stages once, it will take about one year.
question 4: Walk to CIPM office get the past question pack.. Quite affordable
question 5: You can do both together if you can afford it.... Holla, I was thinking about something. Is it possible for us to have a whatsapp group for HR wannabe professionals? You know, networking and all |

engrrichie92: Hello nairalanders,
lets take a statistics of the employed vs the unemployed
at the end of 30 days, who earns more
This will go a long way in determining if quitting your job to be self employed is really worth the hype you can choose to mention the sector you work in but you dont have to mention your company name
im currently employed with a bank and my take home is 251k hoping to cross to owning my business someday though
Come in and share how much is your salary per month? whether paid by a company or self paid? My dear, expect a lot of pm's from the ladies since you just openly advertised yourself |
