Please I need your help on what to do. I applied for SWOP and Visit Visa in February and March 2023 respectively. My SWOP got approved last month and my passport was stamped. Yesterday, my visit visa approval letter came in. Now, I don't need the visit visa since I already got the SWOP, what do I do, guys? Do I just jettison the visit letter and not sending my passport to VFS for visit visa stamping or I should send it? And if I jettison is there any implication at the Point of Entry? Please note that I have one month to reply the Canada embassy for the visit visa. Please I need your reply for comment section. Thank you!

The choice is yours, but I will advice you get the visit visa, you might need it. I’ve seen student apply for visit visa just to stay in status pending the time der PGWP gets approve. I will advise you go for it o.

7m is very okay n 4months is fine if ders no lump sum. She should submit any document that will help with home tie.

That Airport is actually the best to come into Canada, you can be rest assured you will not be discriminated against as they have a lot of friendly blacks and Asians CBSA officers unlike the POE in Montreal, BC or even Alberta with white folks.

I personally don’t like Montreal because they speak French and French people are something else.

Same thing I told someone yesterday. Generally there’s ntn to fear. Just do what’s necessary (pof, purpose of travel n accommodation) n be familiar with everything in your application. Cbsa can’t deny entry for no reason.

I don’t know when Jumms442 will be settled and ready to share her story with everyone. But for the sake of those traveling soon, please get everything ready. Return ticket (let it match your return date), accommodation, purpose of visit, enough pof in your account (be ready to login to ur mobile app as proof) etc. If agent filled your application, make sure you’re familiar with every detail. CBSA denying entry is REAL.

I’ve told Jumms442 to share her story so people will learn before traveling. She really need rest, so pending the time she will share use that advice to hold body n do the needful.

You can pay for cad. I used my wife’s credit card. Google klm Canada, price will be in cad.

Booked a refundable return ticket on departure day. Different airline with der policy, klm gave me full refund, maybe it’s bcox it was less than 24hrs. I canceled immediately I left Toronto airport.

Just departure. Klm forced me to buy return. I got return for 1200, it was a flexible ticket. I canceled immediately I left the airport n got my full refund.

No o. You can’t use courier for two way delivery. You’ll only pay UPS money for taking the passport to vfs. If you can’t pickup, you’ll pay delivery money to vfs, they will assign ups to run the delivery. On the price I’ve seen ppl mentioned they increased it to 30k+, I just saw another post it’s 18,710 from July 10. So pls confirm

That was why I use cad not naira. Use the latest rate for the conversion. For self sponsoring, 10k cad is okay for a 10days trip provided the brother will help with accommodation.

You pay per applicant, 30k is just for one person. Vfs use ups as der courier third party, but it’s vfs you’ll pay.
