Canada mostly won't stamp your passport at the POE.


They do it electronically now; previously they will always stamp you in.

The first cbsa officer that interviewed n marked my kiosk receipt, I tot that was immigration so I went to claim my luggage. While trying to exit the airport I was turned back because my passport wasn’t stamped, I was ask to go back.

My passport was later stamped after I passed immigration, I was then allowed to leave. Passports n kiosk receipts were check before you can exist the airport.

Photocopy of his int’l passport, he should write his tracking number on it. That’s all.

Reason I asked if necessary to pay for the hotel before boarding is because last time I visited south africa people are denied at the port of entry, and If there's anyone in the thread that recently travel for tourist can answer this question.

Because hotel booking is not applicable to those who visited their spouses or relatives.

Bro just make reservations. If you really want to pay, check for hotel you can cancel and get your money back incase you don’t later like the place or der service.

I tried making reservations on Airbnb for Toronto cause my school is in Toronto but I have free accommodation for like 2 months in Edmonton before my program starts then I will have too return too Toronto by September.
So the issue is that my flight is 7th I get to Toronto 8th through Egypt air but when I try making reservation for an Airbnb in Toronto so I can use the address for immigration incase am asked at point of entry cause I don’t want to give them Edmonton address so it won’t look suspicious cause my school is in Toronto the Airbnb have been seeing the cancellation policy is that I can only cancel before July 7th . Please if you have Airbnb in Toronto I can book without paying please kindly reply

Use hotel, book reservation that is payment during check in.

- then click continue
- also click continue on the next page(you don't fill anything here)
- you are taken to the final page where you review or edit your info
- check the I certify box and click continue

I got approval for a visitor visa and I decided to use the delivery option of VFS instead of self-pick up, I should have done self-pick up but I don f**k up already. I have paid since June 2, 2023, but my passport never land to date. The attached image was the last message we got from VFS. Any idea how long I am gonna stay before delivery of passport.

Seems ups already picked it for delivery, chat vfs and ask for your tracking number. Once you’ve that, track it on ups website.

In the area of documents for the new portal, is it OK to attach documents that doesn't relate to the section you are attaching it to as a way to attach more documents?

My documents are enormous and I have used compressed them to the lowest point, but they are still more than 2mb. I see a part where they asked for employment letter, can I attach some of my documents there?

In that case i will advice you to do a table of content so the VO is aware of the documents in that section.

Just make reservations, you don’t need to pay for it. If you’ll pay make sure it’s one you can cancel incase you don’t eventually like it.

Lol, it’s not backwardness, it’s not reflecting on portal doesn’t mean they ain’t working on it. My spouse didn’t get any update, biometrics, medical n eligibility all came with ppr. Just chill and wait for a positive decision.

They will only go that deep during secondary interrogation. Have a good reason for going to Toronto, accommodation n pof in your account.

I’ve not seen anyone asked to produce invitation letter. Just make sure you’ve a good reason to be in Toronto, accommodation reservations and pof in your account.

Thanks bro … Actually she submitted a new passport with a swear in affidavit and a police report through webform sometimes April,2023 cos she misplaced the old one.. So she is actually waiting for a reflection of the one she submitted on the tracker but the old one still there.. Could that delay her PPR?

This ppl work anyhow they like. The important thing is ppr is sure, let her to chill for final confirmation.

I applied for Canada visa and did biometrics in 2018 ,the visa was denied. I did a new application this year, bvl has been sent to me stating that my biometrics will expire by 2028. That if I wish to extend the validity of my visa or permit . I should pay and do a new biometrics. I also saw a visa number on the tracker.I am yet to receive ppr. I wish to extend the validity of my biometrics.How do I pay for only biometrics fee, without paying new visa fee?. I searched for link to pay for biometrics only, but I could not find any link. Kindly help me asap. Thanks

I didn’t get this response on time so I went to the vfs website to see the requirements. All is as you stated except they mentioned consent form should be 1 copy and did not request for passport data pages and which was what I did. So, instead of writing my details on a plain sheet, I wrote it on a copy of my passport datapage. I forgot to fill the name and company name of the courrier service on the consent form. Hope it won’t be any issues. Thanks for the feedback. Appreciate it!
