Arcayo: Access bank, when paying for application they take like 160+ say 170 per Canadian dollar, how much do you think they will pay for you directly? Well I have not done that b4 I guess you mean the application fee for admission (which is usually 100 CAD dollar). It is ok to pay for that using debit cards but definitely not advisable to pay for tuition fee that can be as high as 10,000 CAD dollars. Dont you think so? |

Arcayo: If your school accept card why can't you pay with it, spending on cards have been increased to $7000 per week online and POS.... but please be careful ooo It is very expensive as bank debit cards normally use parallel market rates. This is by far higher than the official CBN rate (about 200 naira) used for form A transactions. Which bank increased spending to 7000? |

Omonjoe: Emmamsc, pls how did u package ur passport to the embassy? as in the way u arranged it with the return envelope. Just go to any courier service (VFS uses and recommends UPS) and tell them you want to send your passport to CVAC/VFS by return mail (ie you want a self addressed return envelope). Only your passport and request letter are to be sent. Note if you send your passport to a centre other than the one where you did biometrics, you have to pay passport transmission charges. Cheers. |

toucheli: I really don't like it when new people are told to go read previous post, tell them what you know and leave the rest. Thank you. Thesoj telling him to read is one of the best advice he can give. You think thesoj and other people here will be so knowledgeable on Canadian visa application if they did not read previous posts? The guy was asking for everything ranging from list of universities to how to apply for admission to visa application. He simply gave him a link that contains all those information. Is that not enough? @akmillion, I advise that if you want to put up a great application, read those links thesoj provided thoroughly. This will give you great insight. You can now come here to ask constructive questions when something is not clear to you. Cheers |

thesoj: Hello peeps!!! My brother got the passport request notice today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He is a very complex applicant with no funds of his own (absolute zero), no employment letter (he was self-employed but he made very little from it and didn't register the company), and zero travel history outside West Africa. But we worked hard to get the VO to see that he wasn't lazying about since he finished BSc about five years ago. We put together a really good application (with lots of proof) in spite of the complexity of his application, and apparently the VO was impressed. But let's wait until we see the visa sha.... I previously discussed his application here and here and here. Congrats bro! |
