SailorXY: Madam relax, this doesn't make u brighter than anyone here. Those expressing doubt have their reasons & right to do so! No military recruitment will tell you its first come first serve & threatening to end registration just a few days after opening, except its non-professionals. Do you know that the Nigerian Army even extended their deadline despite having a lot of applications both for the DSSC & SSC? The application is even complex for many people, as have been reported both here and on other platforms! So relax

The shortlisted names would be out hopefully by monday 10th June 2013.
Check daily punch on monday for your name.

If your documents/credentials are not complete OR you have below 2.1 OR you're above the required age don't bother applying because these are the little things we feel that does not matter but it does. I DON'T MEAN TO DASH YOUR EXPECTATIONS JUST BEING HONEST.

smuhammad: Your questions are welcomed, though too much of it may be so confusing. the essay is not a difficult one at all. all they need is your command of English and expression. And it is a general one for all candidates. Our was, write about ur journey to Makurdi and the second was an application to the minister of defence on why you want to join the military. So expect anything, read wide cos I learnt u are going to write a general test before the first shortlistment. So do not rest on ur oars by depending on all my hints. Just prepare for the worst.
