Politics › Re: Crude Oil Discovered In Ara Orin, Kwara State by emmatok(m): 10:49pm On Aug 15, 2011
Petroleum engineering:is an engineering discipline concerned with the activities related to the production of hydrocarbons, which can be either crude oil or natural gas. Subsurface activities are deemed to fall within the upstream sector of the oil and gas industry, which are the activities of finding and producing hydrocarbons. Refining and distribution to a market are referred to as the downstream sector. Exploration, by earth scientists, and petroleum engineering are the oil and gas industry's two main subsurface disciplines, which focus on maximizing economic recovery of hydrocarbons from subsurface reservoirs. Petroleum geology and geophysics focus on provision of a static description of the hydrocarbon reservoir rock, while petroleum engineering focuses on estimation of the recoverable volume of this resource using a detailed understanding of the physical behavior of oil, water and gas within porous rock at very high pressure.

If that your comment was a reply to my post, then you read the wrong post.

Cause I wasn't upset,  I  was rather  happy about her decision.

For me women comes in mass and  I don't need marriage to get them.

And never in your life call me a MOFO.

Romance › Re: Genevieve Nnaji Says She Will Not Marry by emmatok(m): 4:29pm On Aug 15, 2011
Genevieve Nnaji just said the truth undiluted.

The truth that no woman will ever tell us.

Most women  at this age and time will never submit to a man, but some will pretend to submit just to get married.

Then after marriage she starts competing the her husband.

But Genevieve Nnaji is being logical and sincere, unlike Mercy Johnson.

Good girl welcome to our club.

Funny guy! Quite curiously, none of you has even attempted to attend to what part of GEJ's manifesto you think can be delivered in two months. Ain't you able? shocked
You guys are a pack of empty heads who think screaming from the rooftops is a substitute fior intelligence. Its strange that you can open thread after thread, screaming the same inanities and sweating profusely in the hope that they will stick. Its a shame.

You claim to have answered my question? Dude, you've got to point out where, cos I've been on my knee's frantically begging and praying that at least one of you would crank their brains into operation and give even semi-literate reason for observers not to believe that you are engaged in senseless hatred; perhaps, driven by ethnic and religious bigotries. Boko haram has been there, so have Atiku, IBB, Ciroma etc; what you folk are up to is nothing new; you will be defeated like the ones before you.
O boy, are you fighting a civil war here.

We are all Nigerian, no need defeat anybody.

The election is over, let the winners do their work.

So you think she VOLUNTARILY called off this wedding??,go back to @OP ,click on the link and peruse it carefully, ensure not to miss the place where it said SHE WAS ENCOURAGED TO DO THIS BY CHRIST EMBASSY'i.e the church that was supposed to conduct the wedding.Obviously because of the huge negative publicity the whole saga has generated, the church did not want to make a bigger mess of the situation and damage its own reputation, hence they advised Mercy to call it off.I dont think Mercy had any choice
True talk.

I bet Mercy Johnson still likes the guy.

Forget what all this NL women are saying
Celebrities › Re: Mercy Johnson Calls Off Wedding by emmatok(m): 2:08pm On Aug 14, 2011
Nonsense, after all the noise you just realise you are being scammed.

That is what you get when you run after married men, their wife won't let you rest.

Marriage is not compulsory.

You better stay single and enjoy you life.

Just save yourself from this embarrassment.
Will his denial convince you?. What will Frank achieve by washing his family's dirty linen in public?. The fact that you chose to ignore one party while believing the other without concrete evidence apart from her testimony is appalling. So many black men who were wrongfully jailed in the US are accused of not denying the allegation in the first place therefore the police is justified to haul them to jail. What sort of reasoning is that?. Frank may choose to ignore or deny the allegation but it doesn't necessarily mean he is guilty or innocent. Kelsey Grammer's ex wife was on TV this week shamelessly  claiming that Kelsey has a very a tiny peewee. This is a man she was married to for over 13 years and after he ran away with another woman and all her efforts to have him back failed, she decided to tarnish his image by making jest of his private part. Now, did Kelsey come out to deny or accept the allegation?. Does it mean that since he didn't make any effort to set the record straight, it shows he has a very tiny peeweee?. The same woman accused him of physically abusing  and after one week, she took on his new beau and after all failed, she made sure she got herself a good lawyer who can get a big chunk of Kelsey's assets. We are all humans, male and female and I do not support any man or woman hitting each other simple. This culture of calling the man names over a common accusation and making excuses for the woman is terrible. I wonder how any female here will feel if her innocent son is being accused of beating up his wife when in essence it may be the other way round.

You also claimed that "her natural instinct was to fight back", what if it was Frank who was defending himself or do you find it difficult to believe that women can be the aggressors?. A Nigerian man I know is currently enduring serious pounding from his wife untill he got fed up with it, called the cops and got her arrested. The next day, the Nigerian community went agog and women were cursing the living hell out of the man for calling the cops to rescue him from the hands of his wife. They are still living together but I am sure she will hit him harder next time and if he happens to get injured from it, the story will change to "her natural instinct caused her to fight back and other subsequent BS". Women are better liars than men and the sooner you believe it, the better it will be for the world.
Nice post.

In a relationship the women will always play the victim, even when she is wrong.

I have leant that long time ago.

As long as the man is fulfilling his marital obligations(financially, el at), there is no need to tell his wife how much he earns.

I am not saying people don't do absentia trado.

But my opinion is that absentia trado is wrong.

Because it relay defeat the propose.

But this show that this two women(Lovely and Mercy Johnson)  are too desperate to get married.

And the scammer  is playing on their desperation.

And how is it possible that our marriage ended in 2007 when we did our traditional in absentia in March 2009? (attached are pictures of our traditional marriage in Benin). Is it possible for a man to catch his wife having extra marital affairs and still pay her bride price? He paid my bride price in 2009 and I only recently found out he was also dating Mercy at the same time.
Some people and marriage wahala,

How can you do " traditional marriage in absentia". LWKMD grin grin grin

F your assssss. It cant happen in Nigeria. It is true there is high crime in Nigeria as it is in other countries including UK and US. But, Nigerians work for their money. They dont wait for the government to cook and serve them on the table.

A grown up man stealing coke in the public (Can abject poverty cause this ? This is indiscipline). Can a Nigerian do that ? Its awful and disgusting.

Useless generation, Government doesnt cook for Nigerians, we get our own foods.

They over pampered children with law, they shielded their children from their parent discipline and parenting. It is now not biting the parents alone but the government and the nation as whole. British government called on parents to warn their children. Will they listen to their parents lol, Godless generation and country.
The problem I have with your likes is that you blame the Govt. for every thing.

You blame the UK Govt. for over-pampering her people.

You will also blame the Nigerian Govt. for not caring about her people.

You are talking about the rot in the British society as if Nigeria is better.

I always believe that there is a miracle in every man's house. Look inwards. Greatness is within you not in another, in your country and town, not in another mans.

The book: ''Acres of diamond'' says it all.

May surprise you that Nigerians will yet be begging to travel there. God abeg bless me even in my country and where I am.
So because of 4 days riots, Nigeria is now better than the UK. LOL.

The problem is not poverty, People are just opportunistic.

Tell me those peeps stealing Cats are suffering from poverty? grin grin grin

Look, the UK Govt. is going to compensate all those business affected if not insured.

The UK has a riot damages act, so people can claim money.

The casualty is low compared to what Boko-Haram is doing to Nigeria.

Why are you competing a working Govt. with an incompetent one.

Better wake up.

Those people are protesting the way, because they know their Police are too mild due human right activist.

Remember a LM Policeman, is on trial for a man death last year during the G20 .

In Nigeria who will dare protest in the presence of Armed Policemen.

Public looting, this has never happened in Nigeria before. So Nigeria get Oga for crime. And by the way, Nigeria is even better than England. It is only this government calamity that is befalling us. Bad leadership. We have money, oil, good weather e.t.c, Nigeria should be a place where people die to get a visa to enter like USA. But, God punish our leaders.

Wetin dem get for Britain ? Tax and Good Government.
Just STFU, if such thing had happened in Nigeria, you will be counting dead bodies by now.

Because your Nigerian Police will be shooting every-body with life bullets.

The reason why the looting got to this level is because the Police were just too careful.
Politics › Re: Ex Judge Advocates For Christian Courts In Nigeria: Like Sharia Courts by emmatok(m): 9:41am On Aug 11, 2011
A former judge of the Court of Appeal and Chairman, Council of Legal Education,Justice Moronkeji Onalaja, on Sunday advocated the establishment of ecclesiastical courts in Nigeria.

Onalaja said this while delivering the maiden annual lecture of the Cathedral of Saint Jude, Ebute Meta Lagos, titled ‘Christian Ethics and the Rule of Law.’

He said that ecclesiastical courts would help in resolving disputes in Christian fold.

Onalaja said, “If there is a breach of a Christian law for instance and you report to the bishop how is he going to determine whether he is innocent or guilty of the allegation?

“As we have the Islamic law that is enforced by sharia courts in the country then we should allow for the agitation of ecclesiastical courts to be established in the country that would challenge the breach of Christian laws. I think the machinery should be set in motion.”

The guest lecturer also preached love among Christians and Nigerians in general. He also educated the audience at the lecture on the workings of the rule of law for the sustenance of the current democratic experiment and the for the promotion of peace and unity among Nigerians.

He noted with utmost dismay the way and manner in which the impeachment clause in the constitution has been applied since the beginning of the current democratic dispensation.

The programme was sponsored by the Young Men Christian Union in commemoration of the YMCU 70th anniversary.
The Judge might not be blamed after-all.

I a country where its laws are determined by the Northern Islamic oligarchs.

I think you need to give him a break, may be you are choking him, making him feel trapped.

Just get a break from your marriage.

The reason riot got to this level is because the Police are not high Handed.

I tell you some other countries would have crushed the rioters on arrival.
