andyanders:
Listen young man. Your wife has the spirit of anger in her and that controls her by coming into her to act and when that spirit leaves, she comes back to her senses AND WILL APPOLOGIZE.

She could be spiritually married to a spirit husband that  takes possession of her whenever an issue like this happens. What I suggest for you now is not to throw her out like that as what she needed is just deliverance. You take her to Synagogue Church of All Nations in Ikotun Egbe and she will be delivered and you will come to appreciate her,  Note that there are no 2 perfect individuals on earth. Your wife is your best friend only that she is not in her right sense of mind because of the spirit of anger in her. Do not listen to people suggesting that you throw her out. The devil you know is better than one thousand angels out there. She only need help and ONLY God Almighty can do this for you.
So na your T.B JOSHUA. go deliver her. After sleeping with her well well.

Religion is truly an opium.

The funny thing is when woman goes rogue all the FEMINIST CROOKS will start blaming the man for her actions.

Why is she using the room dedicated for library, when her own sister is living in the-same house with them.

If she wants an extra room, she should send her sister parking or co-habit with her undecided undecided.

Instead she destroyed the man's property because he remove the fan controls.

@op

Send that woman and her sister back to their parent sharp sharp.

Or else them go join hand kill you one  day o.

If she wants to stay with you make sure she buys a new TV, and signs a legal agreement not to destroy your property again.

I would rather people made objective statements here based on available facts and not speculative scenerio and emotional need to support a particular sex.
I have read the accounts of both Mr & Mrs Wigwe plus that of their son, Nelson; it is important to keep in mind the kind of characters that both the man and the woman have portrayed, both of themselves and of eachother. It is very obvious that the woman is temperamental, petty, obsessive & extremely paranoid to a fault.
As for the man, he is no saint, apparently he has got mistresses outside hence the wife's paranoia.
However, the woman's excesses can't be excused on the basis of the man's infedility as she too did thesame and even had the guts to bring her lover into the family house against the childrien's wishes, it is obvious she is selfish and only cares about herself and nobody else, at least, her husban never had a live-in girlfriend while all the nonsense happened. I mean, how can a "married Igbo woman" be so insensitive to the feelings of her childrien & her entire family and bring in a live-in boyfriend to the family house all because the little devils on her shoulders tell her that her husband is probably cheating on her while he is away on assignment even though she is the reason they live apart, ALU!
I ve seen my parents have very heated arguments and even throw accusations at eachother, that is something that happens in virtually every family, we as kids mostly stay out or sometimes shout everyone down when it becomes too loud. When they settle, which always happens, we mock them at times, my mum for instance, has a very strong personality, you can hardly intimidate her and my dad who is a very outspoken person sometimes find my mum overbearing and they clash with heated arguments but one thing they never did was get physical, at least not in our presense.
I will never support either of them to hit each other. While in this woman's case she is more concerned with herself and what she can get from the man by criminal scheming, my mum always put us first and the family when making her arguments with my dad, she is not about what she wants to get from anyone.
Even I as a teen back in them days seeing some of those arguments, I sometimes see reasons with my dad and some times my mum. For Nelson to be this bold to state painfully with honesty that his mum is not a nice person and a schemer shows how outraged the childrien are by their mum's character. It speaks volume, I'm surprised that even though they had lived with their mum for the most part of their lives, she still could not get her childriens support to corroborate her stories. Unless my mother is a very bad person I am not sure I can be courageous enough to do what Nelson did, Again, it speaks volume, the woman obviously was all about hersel.
And let the male feminists here stop kidding themselves with all that politically correct statements of how they can never raise a finger on a woman no matter what, that claim is easier said than practised.
Let me give you a brief account of an incident that happened to me in a public transport in lagos.
Me & my lil niece were trying to get to the back seat of the bus in the process my niece unknowingly hit the woman's bosoms. Little after we had settled down in our seats, the woman started causing in Yoruba language, my lil niece was not even aware the woman was actually cursing her as she did not understand the language. Me on the hand understood what she was saying & angrily ask to know why she was cursing by then she had turned directly to my lil niece & was about to get physical with the lil gal, thart was when it dawned on my niece that the woman all along was cursing her. Then the lil gal just as I was enquiring asked; what did I do to you" and this woman's response was a resounding slap across the girl's face plus very annoying invectives towards her parents.
I got so angry that I warned her never to try such a thing again in her life, by then my niece was already crying and people in the bus were already reprimandind the woman's act, the woman turned to me, dared me(prolly because she was significantly older than me), I told her in clear terms that if she tried what she did again or even point fingers at me, I will do to her what she just did to my lil niece, she flared up and was all up in my face cursing and daring me, I shoved her back to her seat. She stood up & almost hit me, I dudged it & gave her a resounding slap. A serious fight ensued, she held my cousin's dress but this time the lil girl hit her with the water bottle she was holding. Almost everyone in the bus was in support of what had transpired, they separated us,me and my lil niece even had to change our seats as she still wanted to fight us. It took threat from others to calm the mad woman down.
It is easy to come out and say poo about hitting a woman but me I ve always maintained that any woman that can be bold enough to slap me or even make such attempts on me will get a dose of it from me because I will assume she is guy like me too.
CORRECT,

I wonder why women don't expect retaliation from hitting a man.

your mother is also a woman. Do you hate her too?

if the only kind of woman you attract is the type you keep describing, then check your own self. Assuming you actually date women and not men? huh

you're starting to sound unstable.

all people are saying is neither side is a saint- why is that so hard for you to understand? huh[/quote]And why do you have to bring in "mother" into these discussion ? It shows how you reason.

You don't have to to talk about anybody's mother here.

Don't be daft (sorry  cheesy), but nobody is trying to defend any race here . . . . . Common sense tells us that there is no smoke without fire. This woman had EVERYTHING . . . untill she lost it. And then she got a second chance to get it back and her husby expects us to belive she'd rather fight him?

Abeg who no like better thing?

If the man is a saint like he claims, it's very unlikely that the woman will go to this length to destroy him.

The truth is that, he started it. But I bet he didn't know the woman could fight THIS dirty!

This should be a lesson for all you men . . . . . Simbi will NOT always remain a girl!  cool  cool
Listen up WOMAN,

No nobody is say the man is a saint, and the woman not a saint either.

But you trying the defend the woman's action as "get it back" to her hubby s very wrong.

They are both partners in crime(domestic violence.)

As you can see she is not wining, neither is her hubby. They will both suffer for their actions.

I can see some faminist trying hard to defend their female folk.

OK here is the Daughter version of the story.

Desmond Elliot comments on the Kenyan Ambassador wife battery saga

I put the comments by the actor here because when the guys from Kenya called me, they kept saying, speak with your Nollywoood stars, they've been here, they've seen what this woman is capable of, blah, blah blah. Desmond Elliot who was with the High Commissioner in Kenya over the weekend with other Nollywood stars.

He's been tweeting all morning about the incident. In his tweets, he wrote that he believes the woman deliberated planned this to embarrass and disgrace her husband and the nation of Nigeria that the commissioner represents. Read it after the cut,

I felt bad for the high commissioner's wife but something just didn't add up,the pic looked very worked on, doctored' my sentiments I shared wit my colleagues

Also being an ardent viewer of crime n investigation it ws very obvious I wasn't the only one, I believe the high coms wife watches as well

Told the high com about the concerns of my peeps on tweet n facebook n he gave me his side of the story, not because I was the Nigerian govt but because I was in Kenya on the high com's bill n I represented the Nigerian people as well

Now the high coms side of the story obviously would favour him but wen the children of the victim come out to cry foul then u become concerned

I met wit the high com daughter (Ada) at a mall and I asked about the incident and she was just as shocked and surprisd that her mother wld do such a thing guess wat she was home on that fateful day may the 11th

The high com confirmed to me there was a heavy argument that fateful day but said he never inflicted injury on his wife, the daughter confirmed that to me, the son as well wrote a statement to the police
The victims daughter said she was shocked when she saw two cuts on her mums face (surprised how her mum got them) and she asked her son to get her her camera then used her hand to rub her the blood over her face and took the pic HERSELf (which is what we all have seen)

So questions that comes to my mind and to that of the victims daughter. 1, why would madam release the pics 2wks after the incident. 2, was it a mere coincidence that the pics came out when an important event organized by d high com just started. 3, why did the pic com out just 2wks b4 the high com retires after putting over 25 yrs of his life serving his country as a diplomat?

Now am not saying the high com is a saint,he wasn't when he was arguing wit his wife , he wasn't when he PROBABLY pushed her but was that a reason for madam to go all out to kill a man's career?
My peeps I implore this great govt of Nigeria as they listen to both sides of the story to pl careful judge this case with caution, I believe after listening to their daughter, that the wife exaggerated the injury (that is if she didn't cut herself), madam deliberately planned this to embarrass and disgrace her husband and the nation of Nigeria that the commissioner represents.
-Ends-

Ambassador Wiwge will be in Nigeria this week to make a formal presentation to the Federal Government on the issue that observers say has put a question mark on his integrity as a diplomat.

ANOTHER BROS

My ex wife took a £300.000.00 insurance on my life without informing me, until I mistakenly open the renewal letter I would have dead a fools death by slow poison. I ran away and I am still looking back to see if she after me. Fear for my life and the stories go on and on.

My advice to any man looking for a wife is to move far from those fake looking, fashion crazy, party going 9ja girls, they are a public toliet used by everyone who can pay. The lust for money has destroyed the life of most Nigerian woman today, to pick a good one is like playing a lottory.

FROM ANOTHER BROTHER.

It is unimaginable what Nigerian men overseas go through with their Nigerian wives. I made bold to say I am beginning to regret going home to marry a Nigerian.I am not a wife beater, neither am I complaining. I have lost absolute trust in my wife who finds it difficult to tell me in plain language sometime when I asked her where she is anytime I call her. She will start using coded language. Sometimes switching off the phone later telling me she was with her boss and didnt want to upset him for picking calls in his presence. This has hampered my progress as a PhD candidate in my institution. I sometimes feel that I care more about this woman because I have maintained absolute abstinence from other women. Now, the future of my marriage is in doubt. Let every man who has gone through this pain caused by Nigerian women abroad first cast a stone at this man. Nigerian men abroad are in deep shit with these women. I consider returning home to start a new life.

You are trying to make us believe that there are companies out there, in Nigeria I believe, that ALLOW employees work out with company property with no penalities? You expect us to believe that ? I doubt even Dangote would not hear that one.

Again, Government is not any company. The money used to be run these things is money that belongs to us and so ought to be spent WISELY. If these legislators do not have need for the cars, then they can transfer it to other units of government that may require those cars. We all know that we will soon read of Government agencies purchasing brand new cars. Enough of the waste!
YES, Nigerian companies do it.

Some companies auction out their depreciated properties every five years, in other get new ones.

But, the auditor must confirm the value of that car has depreciated before auctioning it.

And buyer must be a member of staff in that organisation.

My Manager was allowed to leave with his car when he resigned. He didn't pay any thing.

Which company ?? u are here quoting s**It,, Let me tell u something. Any well run company will try to maximise the sale of its property at or above market value. Am not talking about nigerian crooked companies like what happened during your privatization exercise. Any company trying to sell their  property always hire an appraiser to value their assests before selling so they get good market value for it . In your instances, the appraiser values it low so as to sell it to one of their cronies, thats why u are getting your  SUV or car for less than market value. Thats fraud or “Nigerian way”. No company is charity
There is a big difference btw. Salvage and scrap.  Google is your friend, Use it
There is no info that u have, i know some fools will believe u and PM u for more info and then u part away with their money. Nigerians and thier "I got the info"
Companies selling off their properties are not doing it for profit.

They are doing it due to depreciation,.

Some companies even allow their staff leave with thier properties, since the value of those properties are depreciated.

But this Legislators should not be allowed to get those vehicles, because they are politicians and not civil servants.

I believe only civil servants should be allowed to get such vehicles at discounted prices.

The Real Tessy Wigwe, Written By Nelson Wigwe (Son)
NAIROBI–First of all let me say how angry, sad and disappointed I am at the public who have already ridiculed my father H.E Dr Chijoke W Wigwe without hearing all the facts. Without talking to the people who were there, without talking to the people who know him best. Without talking to the people who know H.E Tess Wigwe and know exactly what she is capable of. For days, I have been holding back information because my mother H.E Tess Wigwe is the woman who bore me, the woman who raised me, and she is the woman who has provided for me my whole life. But with that said I cannot sit back and allow her to ruin my father’s life and disgrace Nigeria like this. Now before I continue I think it’s crucial that you know a couple of facts. I have lived with my mother my whole life. I have never and will never put anyone before her. So if you’re silly enough to think that I will lie for my father against my mother? You are sadly mistaken.

On May the 11, I was in my bedroom lying down listening to music when I heard a loud commotion coming from my mother and fathers room. I heard my mother shouting telling my father “I cook food for you and you don’t eat” I thought nothing of it because my mother and father argue a lot, so I ignored it at first. But then the commotion got louder. That’s when I left my room to investigate what was going on. When I arrived, I found my mother and father arguing in the hallway. My mother was yelling at me “look at my face, look at what your father did” I looked at my mother’s face and she had some cuts and small amounts of blood on it, her face was nothing like those horrific pictures that we all saw in the star on May the 26 2011. I tried to calm my mother down and I escorted her into her bedroom to clean her face. I took a face towel and soaked it with dettol and tried to clean her face but she refused. “No” my mother shouted “I want to show everyone what your father has done, I want the press and everybody to see”. I mean she was not complaining of any pain, she was not holding any part of her body in pain. She was not dazed or confused apart from the small cuts, she was fine.

My mother told the star that “she was rescued by her 20 year old son and her 23 year old daughter” but that’s a lie because I found them arguing in the hall. My mother also said in the same interview “He grabbed me by the hand and when I tried to pull away, he hurled me against the wall and started punching me” But when I arrived at the scene I saw my mother and father having an argument, like all husbands and wife’s have now and again.

So after my mother refused that I should clean her face. She incredibly asked me to look for her camera. She said and I quote “Nelson look for my camera, I want people to see what your father has done, I want everybody to know what happened even the press” to say I was shocked was an understatement, my mother claims that my father “battered” her but yet here she is, looking around for her camera, instead of telling me to take her to hospital. Could it be that my mother is lying?
She eventually found her camera and phoned her friend to come and pick her up. My mother then went outside of the house to wait for her friend. On the way out my mother took photos of her face. My father locked the front door because at this point my mother was shouting at the top of her voice, saying, “I will finish you this Chijioke Wigwe, and you shall see what will happen”

She also mentioned my father’s term, and mentioned that the possibility of any future opportunity for him, she will destroy. As she waited outside for her friend to arrive, my mother was shouting wild accusations at the top her voice. “Your father sleeps around with woman; your father is an evil man” My father was furious with these accusations and unlocked the door to confront my mother but I held him back. My mother continued to disgrace herself by shouting “ Chijoke Wigwe you are not fit to be Ambassador, you are a coward, your mother is a LovePeddler, I will finish you here in Kenya, mark my words”
At this point, me, my sister, the chef and the security man, are all trying to calm her down, but she was continuing to shout and trying to fight. My nephew was also there, who is a small child, but It didn’t seem to bother her that he was witnessing the argument. She continued and my sister begged with her to stop for the sake of her son. It was not long after this point that she went looking for bricks and pot plants that are located around the residence. She picked up a pot plant and tried to throw it. My sister stopped her and the contents were spilled all over her as a result. When that didn’t succeed, she eventually picked up a brick and hurled it at the window. Twice. Eventually shattering it. This is the person who claimed to have suffered injuries including severe back pain. So, how, therefore, did she manage to hurl large objects and break our security windows?

She eventually calmed down, and that was when her friend came. My father then left the house to see who had arrived, and told the person to just leave. They drove away.
Maybe everyone is confused as to why my Mother would do something like this.
Before my mother left London, it was agreed that every month my Father would be using a large portion of his allowance to pay her mortgage. That means that for the past two and a half years, my Mother has been sending that money to London to pay her mortgage for her house. Problems entailed when she realized that the so called trust worthy person was in fact keeping every cent of that money. So, as we speak, she is in serious debt.
I cannot stress the amount of times that my mother has been worrying about the repossession of her house in London, due to the theft.
When it comes to money, my mother is like a lioness protecting her cub. She will stop at nothing to try and make up for the loss of that money.
Including, but not limited to, lying to my father, and the embassy. Saying that things in the house were broken or needed repair, receiving the money for it, then keeping the money to herself. Despite the fact that there is never any food in the house, which she receives a large amount each month for, she managed to pay for a plane ticket for her old friend from England to arrive here. This now being the new person entrusted with the payment of her mortgage.
Yet, despite this expensive plane ticket, and the sheer thousands of pounds that are sent back to London, our Nigerian residence here, is somewhat of a joke. The five security dogs that we have here, who are Rottweiler’s by the way, are all suffering from malnutrition and some are starving.

She receives around 20,00ksh for these dogs, yet a mere 3,000 is what is used per month to feed these large animals. Instead of a diet of meat and protein, they receive rice!

My sister has been here since April from the US. When she arrived, true to my mother’s nature, she started once again into a long ongoing fight with her. Banning her from using the car, making her and my nephew take taxi cabs and finally telling our chef he is not allowed to prepare food for her! My sister even had to use her American bank card just so she could eat!
The same thing happened to me in 2008, when I myself arrived with her from London. Not allowing me to use the car, or buying food. I was even accused of conniving against her with an old lady that was brought here from a village in Nigeria to work on the residence. Now, bare in mind this is a small woman in stature, and also quite feeble. This woman was battered by my mother as she accused her of turning me against her.
She then ordered that the woman not be allowed to eat, or drink at all. I remember secretly making a meal for her as I felt bad, but she came in and saw me and an argument ensued. After everything that this woman was put through, which for her was hell, she was then made to leave. The other staff members have followed the same fate. Some have lost their jobs other were merely fired, based on the fact she thought they were silly.
Prior to her arrival most of these people had their jobs for a long time. An example was a man called Ibraham who was not only my father’s driver but a driver to many other diplomats before him. My Mother was actually jealous of the close friendship they had. So, next thing we knew, he was fired. Most if not all of our current staff all work in fear of her.
In my 20 years of existence, I have actually never once witnessed an act of unkindness from my father.
My mother on the other hand, well, this is the woman who I have the worst memories of growing up. Especially concerning my sister. Which is why I’m disgusted at the hypocrisy of her “battered woman” claim.
There were many times when I would witness her picking on and beating my older sister, then I would write letters to her and slip them under her bedroom door as I heard her crying on the other side. I will never forget that.
At 16 she was kicked out of the house, and my mother will deny doing so to this day, even though we ALL witnessed it. In London, when my sister was pregnant at 24, I have never seen such evil behaviour towards her. We all thought it would get better, but it didn’t. A great example of this is when we had a small mouse that used to always appear now and then, in the kitchen.
Although heavily pregnant and working at the time, my mother ordered my sister who was tired, and going through bad bouts of morning sickness, to clean the mouse droppings. When she asked if I could do it she was told, no and an argument ensued and she was almost made to do it. My sister stood her ground and refused.
She would also spray air freshener in the room my sister was staying in, although she knew certain smells were literally making her sick. As a result, my sister not only left my mother’s house, although she had nowhere to go, but she went all the way to New York, 6months pregnant with about 30 dollars to her name. She even had to ask her GP for permission to travel as she was so heavy at that point.
As for my Father, on top of NEVER raising a hand to any of us, He has literally supported us in any way he can.
My sister used to live with him in New York and study fashion and photography. He used to also pay her rent in California just because she was unable to work. He has paid for even our brother’s girlfriends to come and visit in New York and elsewhere. He has always let us have our friends over and used to take us out to the cinema, to the park, to play, and to watch us at our sports games for support.
My mother wouldn’t even let friends of ours in the house. My Father is loved and she has always hated that. She never understood why people didn’t take to her the same way. It never occurred to her that the way she treated people would have an effect on how they saw her.
His kindness extends to his staff and they all reap the benefits of this. He never thought himself higher than anyone else and for this, his staff always received respect from him despite his powerful positions.
My Father’s good nature has influenced us all. His love for music, has influenced all of us. His love of the arts, has brought out a brilliant talent in my sister which he has always encouraged and nurtured. He would wake up every day and put on Bob Dylan and listen to classical music.
We have fond memories of him listening to his music, dancing and even making up his own lyrics to make us laugh.
He is kind and very funny and even though my nephew has not been here long, Grandad is the one he runs to whenever he would return home.
After events, he would come home, sit down with a small glass of whiskey and tell us interesting stories. He never raised his voice or yelled at us. He was always calm and peaceful. This is his true nature. Not the barbaric monster he has been made out to be. One of my brother’s got wind of the news in London and called him crying, and devastated. We all are. This is not the father we have grown up to, love and adore. It hurts us to see such mean things said about him.
I haven’t even lived with my Father my whole life. Yet, the times that I was staying with him due to his occupation, were some of the best times and memories of my life. Like Warsaw Poland, Manhattan in New York, and then here in Nairobi, Kenya.
I have lived with my mother my entire life, so I hope it’s understood the difficulty in me writing this letter. But, I must do it. For the sake of my family, for the sake of Nigeria and the reputation my father has worked so hard to achieve.
But the truth must be known to all not just me.

Their is noting like equity in marriage .

Wife trying to equal her husband, is bringing unhealthy competition into the relationship.

Both genders should play their roles in the relationship.
