I agree i write rubbish and lies, but please tell me what you know about the ftz personally? when last did you go there or have you gone there before physically?? what can you tell me about the surrounding environments, communities and infrastructures surrounding the area?

When did i attack the rational of the free trade zone?  This was exactly what i wrote and dont misquote me:

1. Can you describe the exact location of the free trade zone starting from Eko akete to tell us where  the exact place it is without you using google or you tube as your guide? The road leading to eleko beach is one long straight road and it gets to a T-JUNCTION Where you can either go straight on to eleko beach or choose to go right or left. From your you tube video can you tell me how long from the T-Junction it will take to the ftz and tell me what exactly is opposite the free trade zone towards the beach? Do you think the roads your talking about was created today? It has been in existence for years and those who used to party around eleko beach in the 90s will tell you that.

2. I asked what are the developments that are there apart from the free trade zone that the populace have benefited from? Can you tell us the schools, hospitals and other amenities commissioned in the communities adjacent to the free trade zone?  Mention one since the ftz was created? At least your commissioner should tell you the names of the infrastructures provided or do we have to go to you tube to find that one too? How far have you gone to tour the communities? Apart from eleko beach there, what other beach is there and what is the living condition of the inhabitants there?  Apart from AMEN Estate can you tell me of an other known estate there and why is sales is so slow for the owners of AMEN Estate that they have to slow down work because of the lack of infrastructure or awareness of the area. Do you know the number of people still living in mud houses and no light within the adjoining community close to the beach? Have you seen them personally to ask them what they have benefited from the ftz

3. Before the free trade zone, eleko beach has always been in existence as a tourism hot spot and all the roads had been tarred for years back, so whats the significant difference in that area apart from the free trade zone hidden in one corner for the past 15 years or so?

Please don't use video evidence from the comfort of your room to show me what i used my eyes to see 2 weeks ago and will probably go there again this week or next week and take pictures to satisfy your curiosity. You have no verified anything independently but your basing your arguments on hear say! Where is the logic in that?

I see you just rely on what people say for you to base your own opinion and insult people along the way because that's the only way for you to gain attention and attract people t read your posts. If your looking for a neutral person to verify what i have just said, ask johnie who writes alot about the lekki/ajah axis to go there and verify independently with pictures to know whether i am lying or in your words stating alot of ignorant mumbo jumbo.

Besides if the ftz has been so good as you say and has impacted seriously on the economic benefit of the host communities and lekki/ajah as a whole why is it the least demanded area for people who want to buy lands? Why isn't it on their top priority list? Who today can build a house there and live there immediately apart from the host community who have been living there for donkey years? Do you know how many Nairalanders have gone there to purchase lands via inspections with me and disappeared never to return there and rather buy in mainland ajah because they don't see the viability of that area or the ftz for now?  I don't need any commissioner or govt official to tell me what i can verify with my own eyes. Please other people that are familiar with the ftz or have gone to Eleko should also say their piece and not rely on you tube to buttress their point so that we know who the real ignorant person is.

Anyway am done arguing with you. Your known for stirring up fights without saying anything meaningful and supported by physical evidence except dem say dem say. If you cant answer any of my questions in relation to knowing the physical land marks and what goes on there on a daily basis then your not in the best position to criticize me whether am right or wrong.
OGA LAWYER, abegi no vex,

If there is any credible person on NL as at today you are number 1.

Most of the people your are arguing with here don't live in NIGERIA.

Let them come to Lagos and see these projects themselves.

It is a big deal for a man to hit a woman as it a big deal for a woman to hit a man.

But the hypocrisy is from the woman .

There is a post here where a MIL slapped her SIL for talking to "harshly" to her daughter(wife).

But most women supported the MIL's action, then criticize the SIL for talking to his wife "harshly"

So you see the hypocrites. They see noting wrong hitting a man, but makes noise when if the man touches them.

I think there is camping of calumny against Bakare by some PDP FANS here.

Bakara is a Nigerian he has the right to vote and be voted for.

Most of his critics are angry because he is a member of the CPC and not PDP.

I bet if Bakare were a member of the PDP running as VP to GEJ most of these criticisms won't surface.

You can abuse me from now until tomorrow. But most people would still see beyond that, to the fact that Ngige saw the need to make claims that ACN is not a Yoruba party. Why?
The reason you are resorting to abuse, is that you have no counter to the obvious.

You just wish to be blind, but wishes aren't reality.
Ok, lets agree just for the sake of it, that you truly believe PDP is fascist. Lol! Would that stop the charge that ACN is fascist? Erm, NO!

Deal with the issue at hand. If you are an ACN person, get your party to stop making bigoted statements and encouraging ethnic paranoia.
I see you have been brain wash by PDP so you now believe all their lies.

You are supporting PDP simply because GEJ is from SS, tell me will you give the same support to a Hausa President from the same PDP?

That is another topic for discussion and several threads have been opened already. Sadly for you, the corruption you percieve in PDP has nothing to do with the definitions of fascism or ethnic bigotry.
This thread though, is about ACN. Deal with it, please.

I agree that fascism is a bit of a strong word, but it is better to heed the alarm now; the bells are ringing loudly. Below is the definition of fascism from Wikipedia:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fascism

It is easy to recognise ACN ticking the vast percentage of the boxes above. It is pursuing a very dangerous path in a multi-ethnic and under developed country like Nigeria. ACN can be successful without going down dark routes, there really is a thin thread to the slippery slope.
I don't know what you make of the headline below, but to me and many others, it is very alarming:

http://www.punchng.com/Articl.aspx?theartic=Art201102222451954

There are very many quotes where that came from, I'm sure we can even feel several pages with quotes that seem to have popped right out of a fascist handbook.
Fascism ( /ˈfæʃɪzəm/) is a radical, authoritarian nationalist political ideology.[1][2] Fascists advocate the creation of a totalitarian single-party state that seeks the mass mobilization of a nation through indoctrination, physical education, and family policy including eugenics.[3] Fascists seek to purge forces and ideas deemed to be the cause of decadence and degeneration and produce their nation's rebirth based on commitment to the national community based on organic unity where individuals are bound together by suprapersonal connections of ancestry, culture, and "blood".[4] Fascists believe that a nation requires strong leadership, singular collective identity, and the will and ability to commit violence and wage war in order to keep the nation strong.[5] Fascist governments forbid and suppress opposition to the state.[6]

From your Quote it is the PDP that is FASCIST here and not ACN.

Dude, you are talking nonsense, who gives a damn about what you think about other parties?
Deal with the issues of ACN's fascism that have been raised.
ACN can be a regional party without resorting to ethnic bigotry; both Nigeria and ACN cannot afford such nonsense.

I guess though, that you agree with the perception that ACN is an ethnically based party that uses bigotry as a tool. Dude, that is a very dangerous and irresponsible strategy.
Guy may be you should check up the meaning of "FASCISM" vary well.

If there is  a fascist party in Nigeria, it is the Corrupt PDP that has being controlling the FEDERAL GOVT for 12 years.

DaLover:
its a real sad day when people who should know better decide to play around with word to achieve other mean ings, the topic of the post is about ACN being a yoruba tribal party or not?
For those who say it is not, let answer the following questions, maybe they may change your understanding of the subject at hand.
Is CPC a northern party or not?
Is APGA an IBO party or not?
Is KKK a WHITE suppremaisist party or not?
Were AG,UPN, AD yoruba parties or not?

Now right now, I mean right now as we debate not 2015 but 2011, is ACN a yoruba tribal party or not? if the average nigerian on the street knows the answer to this simple question, y has it become a rocket science issue on NL,
If the key actors that ran AD are those running ACN, then for all intents and purposes the party remains the same, from my earliest recorde memory and the history, the yorubas have alwys felt better working alone together, many may not want to agree, but there exist this 'we r better than othr nigerians atitude' amongst the average yaruba man. In case the only reason why PDP ever ruled in the SW was because the yourba man was president at the time, after the yoruba man left the status quo had to return to how it has always been, yorubas in a yoruba party and the rest of nigeria doing their seperate thing,
The movement of the SW back to ACN/AD/UPN/AG (what ever alphabet) you choose to call it actually has less to do with PDP performance and more to do with the 'we should be together mentality' of the avarage yoruba man on the street, the poor performance of the PDP is a very convienent excuse for this activity, Now lets look at performance,
If fashola is doing great, does that translate to ACN doing greathuh What about the other ACN\AD governors we know? What was the performance of the AD party in the SW before PDP took over? Does the fact that Donal duke and rotimi performed very well make PDP a great party? Can we try to be honest or should we call spade a shovel to change to meaning?
Now imagine an APGA governor inn Oyo state, what is your first reactionI mean your true inner most feeling, not the polished one you would like to present,
Some one said that Ngige will convience Ibos to jump on the ACN trins, while I very much doubt that, I would say that if a good numder of Ibos start takingin AC N as theri party than it becomes a southern party, or a national party if same applies accross the country, but until then it remains a yoruba party with a sprinkling of politicians from outside the SW zone.

Now as a tribal party, other nigerians do not what you to control their afairs, hence nigerians rejection of Buhari as president on a tribal platform, Awolowo also suffereed the same fate and wht makes us feel that someone like fashola, whos performance cannot be measured to Awolos woulld stand a better chance on a tribal platformhuhfood for tot
Bro it is not about tribal politics, it is about creating formidable opposition.

In US we have more blacks in the Democratic party than Republican party. Do you say the Republican is a party for whites only? NO

In US there are regions Democratic party will always win and Republican party will always loss election.Do now call the Democratic party a regional party? NO.

As it stand Nigeria will remain under-developed because the PDP control the FEDERAL GOVT in EXECUTIVE, JUDICIARY AND BOTH LEGISLATIVE HOUSE.

And that is absolute power which corrupt absolutely.

1) America needed some sort of proof to show that osama was really dead and from past experience mass bombing always had bad collateral repercussions (from the press and civilian casualties) that they did not want to deal with again.
2) Navy seal teams are always small in number, never more than six. They are experts at sneaking in and out of bad situations.
3) The warrant on osama was dead or alive. Who’s to say the baaasstard did not have a suicide vest on at the time. If it was you would you take the chance?
4) Which country would want osama’s body for burial? You run the risk of his burial place becoming a shrine where lunatics and depraved people visit.

Lastly there are some things you cant lie about. It’s like me saying I am the president of Nigeria. Wont the real president stand up to counter me? To make it clearer for you to understand, if osama was not killed wont he come out with present day newspaper in hand to declare America as liers?

If there's one thing that annoys me, it's women who hyphenate their names. I'm a doctor and as such must create charts which are then filed away in alphabetical order.

So Mrs. Jayne Gorden-Vangeroffson comes in for an exam. She writes her name on my form as Jayne Gorden-Vangeroffson. So we file her chart this way and then attempt to file her insurance.

But her vision plan has her listed as Jayne Vangeroffson and so the claim is denied. After several hours on the phone, my staff finally gets ahold of someone and they resolve the issue.

Then she gets pink eye and comes in for that. She identifies herself as Mrs. Vangeroffson this day. (When filing a hyphenated name, you're supposed to go by the first name of the two so she'd be filed under "G"wink My staff spends a long time looking all over the place but can't find her chart. We question her repeatedly about the file being listed under any other name, but she denies this and since she's been married for over ten years. Finally, we ask her if perhaps she hyphenated her name? Oh yeah, I think I did. So we finally find the chart right where it should have been.

I treat her and then try to file her medical insurance. Remembering the previous problem, we file under Jayne Vangeroffson. But her medical insurance has her as Jayne Gorden. More staff time wasted!!!!!!!

Please women, do not hyphenate your name. You will be creating nothing but problems for yourself and anyone who must deal with you. Doctors will not be able to find your chart. Insurance companies will not have you listed as a client. The list goes on.

If you want to keep your maiden name, keep it. Just tack the new name on at the end without a hyphen. Who gives a F@&K if you have three or four names?

But please, no more hyphenated names!!!!!!!

And how is the child "poor" or caught up in "politics" if both parents decide on what s/he should bear? The child is entitled to a change of name as soon as s/he's an adult too. afterall, there are families where kids of the same parents bear different surnames. You go say you never see that one before too abi?
And how would you give your so called "hyphenated surname" to a child. Is da hubby also using hyphenated surname.

The hyphenated surname is the invention of the woman(since she wants to keep her father's name ) it is not the official family name.

Good point. A lot of people arguing that it is "tradition" do not even know that African women never had to change their names after marriage before colonialism. I made that point in an earlier post. In most parts of Asia and the Middle East, married women keep their names too. I don't see the big deal in this. Does changing her name make an uncaring, irresponsible, selfish woman a good wife and mother?

Even people who are unrelated have joint accounts or property, that defeats your argument already. Same surname doesn't make joint ownership any easier.

Like i said earlier, i know a marriage where the man insisted that his kids bear the surnames of both he and his wife. She didn't change her own name and the kids bear both surnames. They have been married for 15 years now, so apparently the confusion and identity crisis you talk about is not as big an issue as you would expect in an organised society with good recordkeeping systems and all. Like i keep saying, whatever works for a couple should be what they do. There's no right or wrong way about this issue. Neither the Bible nor the Quran say a woman must change her name. The African tradition doesn't either (at least not where i come from).
Hey please tell me that Birth-certificate in the world that indicate a child has two surname undecided.Every human being is supposed to have one surname and not two .

It is either the father's surname or mother' surname, the innocent child should never be come into the politics of surnames.

For those women  clamoring  to keep their father's surname name after wedding.

I will like to know whose surname they are going to give their children.

If they have a joint transaction e.g Bank account or property, how will they be addressed. for example Mr&Mrs Joan.

Though there are no laws that says "a woman must use her husband' surname", but it is done to avoid unnecessary confusion and identity crisis.

Its a pity. I'm always suspicious of western intervention in crisis like this. They did not do anything about Egypt' s case. Well, they just gat to be careful.
They did not do any thing Egypt because Mubarak stepped down during the revolution.

But your Qaddafi is just too wicked, instead he resulted in KILLING his people during the TRIPOLI protest.
