Did Ronaldo also depend on rooney and other great players to score 42 goals 3 years ago in Manchester United? undecided

This argument is quite lame since it's been well known that ronaldo is a goal-scoring machine in every club he sets his talentful and legendary foot on. . .something that everyone is still waiting to see from Lionel messi.
You can continue dreaming about CR7.

Is it the-same Ronaldo  that always dive and complain for red card during his days at MAN U? huh huh huh

Funny how you claimed di maria and ozil feeds ronaldo with the ball. . . grin grin grin

Since when did ronaldo have the reputation for depending on his teammates to feed him with the ball and then score? he does it all on his own that's why his critics can just stop at calling him a selfish player unlike your messi who only depends on Xavi and iniesta, the two best midfielders in the world, probably of all time.

If messi scores, it's either Xavi or iniesta that gave the assist, believe me. grin grin

78% of messi's goals was set in by Xavi or inesta and you sit there blabbing bangladesh. . .something the true greats like ronaldinho, ronaldo phenomeno, cristiano ronaldo and kaka of three years ago never had in their agenda. . .

Face it, this balon d'or or whatever you call it has become as biased as the Sun Newspaper I usually read in Nigeria every morning. grin grin

How can messi be the best when he has the two best midfielders in the planet feeding him the ball?

Even in today's game iniesta gave him the assist to his goal. . .WPOFY my butt! grin grin

To be the best in the world, you have to start with being the best in your team, until messi proves himself in another club or without xavi and iniesta I'll be the first to claim it without an iota of doubt in my mind.
OK, is see you are still fantasizing about your dream world boyfriend(Cristiano ronaldo).

'I feel so betrayed': Mildred Baena's ex-husband had 'no idea' his son was Arnold Schwarzenegger's love child

The ex-husband of Mildred Baena has spoken out for the first time about her affair with Arnold Schwarzenegger, revealing he had 'no idea' his son was actually the actor's lovechild.
Rogelio Baena was named as the father of his ex-wife's 13-year-old son on the boy's birth certificate, and claims he never doubted that the boy was his biological son.
He learnt the truth just last week, when news broke of Schwarzenegger's love child.
In an emotional interview Rogelio said he feels 'betrayed' and claims 'Arnold Schwarzenegger for me, [was] my hero, Maria [Shriver] is destroyed forever.'

Emotional: Rogelio Baena told Entertainment Tonight that the situation involving his ex-wife Mildred was a 'betrayal'
And while he is coming to terms with the news, Rogelio said he still considers the boy his child.
He told Entertainment Tonight he wanted to tell the youngster: 'I am your father. That's all.'

Marriage is good when both partners knows their place in the Marriage and stop competing with each other.

But the irony is that most women comes into marriage with competitive attitude .

The wife claim she is equal to husband, and so everything should be 50-50.

But the-same women will not quote that 50-50 equity law when it comes to responsibility, they easily push it to the man .

And when that man can't meet up with those responsibilities, he receives the bashing of his life.

Most women marries for security(emotional, physical, and financial) not for love, and when those things are lacking they leave that marriage for a better person.

That is why marriages is all about women and children.

I don't know why we make so much noise about men extramarital affairs.

This is the BS peddled by these hypocritical American and British media.

The reason is because these countries have stronger feminist movement so they can easily influence their media.

We don't get news about women have extramarital affairs not because women don't do it, but the American and British media is bias against man.

Unlike other European counties like FRANC,ITALY, SWEDEN e.t.c were extramarital affairs are not issues.

The man has the right to sexual liberty once he dose not do it contrary to the law.

One feared killed, two injured as policeman fires at commercial bus

One person was feared killed while two others were seriously injured on Wednesday when a trigger-happy policeman opened fire on a commercial bus near the Ogun State Property Investment Corporation Bus Stop, Isheri, on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

PUNCH METRO gathered that around 9am, two of the policemen attached to Gateway City Development Centre, left their duty post to mount an illegal checkpoint near the bus stop.

The policemen were said to have flagged down a commercial bus and demanded money from the driver.

The driver, it was learnt, turned down the request and the action infuriated one of the policemen, who fired at the bus. Three of the passengers were hit by the bullet released by the trigger-happy policeman.

One of the affected persons, a woman, whose identity was unknown, was said to have been hit by the bullet on the left side of her face, while the other passenger, a man, sustained a bullet wound on his back.

The third victim identified simply as a pastor was feared killed as the bullet hit him in the head. He was carried away to an unknown destination by sympathisers.

An accident rescue consultant, who was at the scene, Dr. Kehinde Oshibote, said, “Around 10 o’clock, I received a phone call alerting me about an accident that happened around the Gateway City Development Corporation. The caller said somebody had been shot. I ran to the scene and saw the person lying in a pool of blood.

“On enquiry, I was told that the riot policemen from the Gateway Response Squad, who were posted to the GCDC, left their duty post and went across the expressway extorting money from commercial bus drivers and okada riders who were plying the road.

“They tried to stop one of the drivers but he refused. One of the policemen opened fire on the bus and three people were injured. The bullet hit one of the victims in the eye, another one was hit in the back, while the third person was hit in the head.”

Oshibote said the victim, who sustained head injury, was initially brought to the gate of the GCDC by some angry commercial motorcyclists who tried to force their way into the premises.

The victims were later taken to the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja, for treatment by the Lagos State Accident and Emergency Rescue team.

The Commissioner of Police, Ogun State Command, Mr. Musa Daura, who was at the scene around 11:30am, declined to make comment on the incident.

The CP, who said he was there primarily to ensure security in the area, however, told our correspondents to get in touch with the command’s spokesman for comment.

The Public Relations Officer of the GCDC, who declined to give her name, also refused to comment on the incident. “You cannot cajole or force me to talk. I can talk only with the permission of my boss,” she said.

When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Muyiwa Adejobi, said he had not been briefed about the incident.

However, it was gathered that the policemen involved in the incident were already in detention.

You are still missing the point; you seek to remove from the good works of those administering Lagos. I challenged your earlier post but you side-stepped my post. I ask again, what were the federal projects in Lagos outside Lagos Island? Please focus on Surulere, Ikeja, Shomolu, Ilupeju, Ibeju-Lekki, Alimosho, Ketu, Ikorodu, Epe etc

Secondly, Lagos was a trading post before the British got to West Africa. You have to accept that the city in itself possesses several characteristics which naturally enhanced its position. Unlike Abuja which was developed completely by the FG, Lagos only had certain parts, possibly less than 10%, developed by the FG. Nigeria's capital was moved to Abuja in 1991, why has Lagos not diminished in size? Why didn't it suffer the same fate as Calabar? You all seem to focus on Lagos being the capital and the little developments that it received but you ignore the problems that Lagos had to accept as well such as crime, over-crowding, hasty developments to accommodate an ever-growing immigrant population.

You have to understand that businesses will naturally locate to areas that serve their purpose. Lagos is great because its administrators are able to harness the advantages that it has into value-adding developments. Each state/region is similarly blessed.

Eko o ni baje o
I agree with you on these points.

1. Lagos was the major focus of trade and business before independent.

2. When Lagos was the capital most suburbs like, Ikrorodu, Ipaja Ayobo, Epe,IJU e.t.c were not developed.

The same thing is currently happen in Abuja most suburbs are not developed. If the capital leave Abuja today that place will crumble.

But Lagos is still waxing strong because of better Governor.

For Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi's fans.

N250bn Bond tears Rivers apart

Another N1.5tr unaccounted for

THE people of Rivers State are at present not satisfied with the way the Governor of the state, Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi, is handling the state purse.

Unanswered questions
Now, tongues are wagging, and they have every reason to be angry going by the state's huge revenue base. The indigenes are still at sea over how the N50 billion said to have been left behind by the former governor, Celestine Omehia was managed. Recently, the Supreme Court verdict handed over 86 oil wells to the state, an addition expected to boost the financial base of the oil-rich State. Amaechi, who has spent over three years in office, announced to everyone's chagrin his intention to source a multiple loans totalling N250 billion from the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE), to complete ongoing projects.

The move, many believe, contradicts Amaechi's claim that he has saved 100 billion internally generated funds. Thus the question, how could the Governor who saved such amount for the state proceed to the stock market for another set of loans?

A cross-section of Rivers State has described the loan as an avenue for milking the state, which is one of the richest states in Nigeria but with little development to show for the huge funds it gets both from federation account and internally generated revenue.

They also condemned the plan describing it as unpatriotic and a move that was bound to mortgage the development and destiny of the state.

Governor's Brief
Amaechi had earlier stated that his desire to source for the loans was not because the state was broke but because Federal statutory allocations came in trickles and making it impossible for his administration to deliver the projects as scheduled.

Some of the projects in which the N250 billion would be invested, he said, were Port Harcourt Monorail which is under construction; the Karibi Whyte specialist hospital, the new Rivers State University of Science and Technology and the UTC-Air Port Road Project.
The Rivers State chapter of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) has described the state's financial indiscipline as sad and unfortunate.

Stakeholders believe that the Supreme Court ruling ceding 86 oil wells to the state would further under-develop the state because a higher percentage of the money would go into private pockets. They argued that it was also imperative for the governor to inform Rivers people how the N150 billion earlier sourced from the bond market was utilised and its repayment schedule.

According to a reliable source, virtually all the projects for which the new loans were being sought were scheduled for completion within his current tenure which expires this month, insisting that the governor's failure to keep his promises to his people was a disservice. Another source noted that it would have made better sense to Rivers people if such huge loans were targeted at investment projects that would guarantee visible and steady return within the tenure of his administration.

The monorail is a project which Amaechi himself has expressed doubt saying that he was ill-advised about it. The Karibi Whyte Specialist Hospital has been bogged down by deceit and fraud while the RSUST has failed to excite a cross section of the people.

Call For Caution
Amaechi has been cautioned to reconsider the move because it would compromise the resources available to his successor and the future development of the State.

Mr. Lucky Oboma, a member of the ACN stated that Rivers people have not been told the whole truth, alleging that Amaechi has always denied that the state was broke. He wondered why the governor elected to borrow and has continued to deny workers in the state civil service their basic entitlements, including the new Federal Government approved minimum wage. What is the guarantee that these projects for which he is seeking the huge loans will be completed in the next four years, he quried.
According to him, the state coffers had been thoroughly depleted by highly monetized election campaign undertaken by Amaechi. The N250 billion loans is required to stabilize government after the huge election expenses.

He called on the Rivers State House of Assembly and People of the state to resist the move to obtain the loans which he said will further impoverish the people.

Whither the fortune?
It is on record that Governor Amaechi has for long been having hard time explaining the use of fiscal provisions for public projects that are missing. The first supplementary budget application totaling N177.930 billion is in doubt as to applicability (2008 budget of Rivers State). The Rivers State N554.081 billion 2008 budget compared to combined N484.199 billion for Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa and Delta States for the same 2008 fiscal period left sour taste in the mouth. The three other States were equally troubled by security concerns, but without unrestrained supplementary appropriations. The figures and applicability of external fiscal assistance by federal and external sources to Rivers State, as well remain uncertain. Rivers State received nearly N1.5 trillion by way of statutory allocations and other known sources in less than four years as compared to a total similar receipt of N708 billion by former Governor Peter Odili in eight years (HDPTT, 2011).

HDP Technical Review Team had not only released details of imminent collapse of government projects in Rivers State for lack of proper planning and use of substandard building materials for road, school and health center buildings; but unfolded serious concerns posed by budget misappropriations and outright deceit since 2008. In a related publication released as the 2009 Social Development Integrated Center (Social Action) report, the NDCBP described the budget of Governor Amaechi as “fast becoming a white elephant project.” NDCBP is the Niger Delta Citizens and Budget Platform. The NDCBP comprise civil society organizations, including NGOs and community groups that promote mass mobilization to combat corruption in public offices in the states and local government councils of the Niger Delta.

Bribery Scandal
Amaechi has equally been taming the main opposition party too, the suspended chairman of the Action Congress of Nigeria, Barr. Uche Okwuku is reported to have pocketed a whooping sum of N50million to withdraw his support for the ACN Governorship candidate in the last April Gubernatorial election, Dr. Abiye Sekibo Reliable source in government house said as part of effort to lure the suspended chairman he was kept in the brick house, government seat of power for three days where he was lavishing taking care off.

Source revealed that Okwuku's radio announcement asking all the ACN members in Rivers State to vote for governor Ameachi who was the People's Democratic Party candidate in just concluded election was doctored write up.

It was learnt that the suspended Rivers State ACN chairman was escorted to the radio station where he made the announcement by a combine team of security agents provided by the state government and was later taken to government house after the mission was accomplished national daily while at the Governor House in his three days sojourn as a guest was treated as a king with nothing he wanted was denied him.

Some residents of the state, in their separate reactions on the Anti party action of the former ACN chairman, said that Okwuku as a party chairman in the state failed on his duty by declaring support for another party's candidate in an election involving his own party. “I heard that Uche Okwuku while reacting on the allegation of bribe and Anty party activities leveled against him, said that he owns nobody any apology for asking those that believe in him to vote for Amaechi to me, as a politician, Okwuku should be ashamed of his action, I have no doubt that he collected money from Governor Amaechi as allayed.”

Okwuku according to source was also promise to a plum appointment in the government to be inaugurated in the state after May, 29 for compromising the last governorship election. In a statement release in Port Harcourt by PDP, said that it would welcome the APGA and ACN Governorship, candidate in the just concluded governorship election back to it fold if they decide to return to the party. “This is the first time that am hearing that a state party chairman publicly made a statement on radio asking his party men to support a candidate of an Opposition Party, I am sure that that singular action will hunt him throughout the rest of his life, in short, he has not only lost his dignity and credibility, but has ruined his political career, since he has chosen to trend on the part of dishonor, he will forever remain irrelevant in the politics of the state.

Another source revealed to National Daily, Uche has killed his political career; he was a hungry man looking for an avenue to be compensated by performing dirty job he was paid for, he was a sellout and nobody can take him serious again.ts of the state, in their separate reactions on the Anti party action of the former ACN chairman, said that Okwuku as a party chairman in the state failed on his duty by declaring support for another party's candidate in an election involving his own party.

I have a dream that one day we Nigerian men would rather accept failures on the part of our women rather than complain

I have a dream that one day starting from this forum, a state sweltering with the heat of injustice, sweltering with the heat of oppression, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice.

I have a dream that one day this whole women bashing would eventually stop

I have a dream today!

I have a dream that one day, Nigerian men and women would come together under one mutual respect and understanding

I have a dream today!

I have a dream that one day No matter what we men spend or do for our women, we ought not to complain cos no men would do it for them if we dont do it learn to accept them

This is our hope, and this is the faith that I would try and instill into our Nigerian male folks.

I have a dream

I have a dream that we Nigerian men although accepted everywhere in the world our women aint cos we bash them constinously and this has tanished the image of the Nigerian women, we have to revive the image of the nigerian women

Nigerian women are our trade marks, we have to accept them, defend them, die for them,

Without them we wont be where we are today

With this faith, we will be able to hew out of the mountain of despair a stone of hope. With this faith, we will be able to transform the jangling discords of our nation into a beautiful symphony of brotherhood. With this faith, we will be able to work together, to pray together, to struggle together, to stand up for freedom together, knowing that we will be free one day.

God bless our Women!!

1. Name one ND governor that has been able to conceive and bring to fuition projects like those in Lekki FTZ,Eko Atlantic, the international markets etc.
-----------------------------------------
Amaechi renovated and upgraded all public primary and secondary schools in rivers state to standard, he also established at least a standard medical center in all local governments. He is renovating and upgrading all the markets in port Harcourt, he is also building new ones.

2. Secondly, name one ND governor that has been able to raise and continue to sustain thier state  IGR profile like fashola has done in lagos which has helped lagos source for cheap loans to carry out large scale projects that even our own NDeltans are benefitting from.

--You don't expect amaechi to over tax rivers indegenes. The state is blessed with oil resources and the revenues that come from oil is enough to fund and sustain the various projects in the state.

3. All you see in ND is prototypes! Uduaghan(criminal awaiting his jail terms) all he shows us is drawings and models on paper! Go build the damn real thing!

-There is work on ground in P.H. Go and see it.

3. Thirdly, Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta all have in-land waterways like lagos. Tell me which one of these states has been able to develop thier water ways like fashola has done, instead all you see around and on CNN is wooden speedboats! The other one in Akwa-ibom is busy engaging in white elephant projects the state can not sustain with her IGR- fly over my foot! Do you think I will go to Uyo 'cos of fly over when kiddnapping is rampant in the state?

-- This is not an issue.

4. Name one ND state that is as safe as Lagos security wise! Remember, before fashola crime was high in lagos, but when he came in, within two years He got a foundation/trust in place, raised funds, bought equippments for the damn FG police and guess what? CRIME nose dived in much of Lagos. How many ND governors have been able to replicate same in thier states?

-- Amaechi did that.
Dude, let us (Niger deltans)not keep deceiving ourselves. Our governors are not working.

- Amaechi is working.
Bros, your ND friend here will charge you for treason o o o grin grin

Because you are not supporting them enough.

The-same folks came here claiming GEJ is an innocent man.

When he is busy spending N1bn inauguration.

Why didn't she mention any of these other governors in Nigeria by name?

Who exactly do you think you are fooling? You don't realize that more than only those in Nigeria are watching and weighing the performance of the 36 governors?

Face reality and compel your own governors to perform so that they can become recognized as well
No mind all these haters.

Very soon they say Fashola bribed huffingtonpost.

@ poster , if fashola stooped to be governor of lagos then what stops him from stooping , even OBJ stooped for Atiku for his second term , when he refused to stoop again he was denied third term.

The problem with most yorubas is that they don't travel beyond the southwest and some don't go beyond lagos .
So when you tell them that some other governors are doing better than their 1 eye king (fashola) they don't believe you , they think you hate them.
I know you will decent the tribal line very soon.FOOOOOL.

You claim Yoruba's don't travel beyond the SW. Tell me which group runs the most of the intra-state transport in Kaduna, Abuja, Kano and even port-Harcourt.

BIGOTS.

Another bashing tread open.

Very soon it will degenerate into full tribal warfare.

THE TREAD READS "Amaechi New Head Of Governors Forum. Fashola Not Interested"

And some Fashola haters are here comparing him with AMAECHI.

How many of those project has Ameachi commissioned.

Evan  Ameachi will not start competing with  Fashola over noting.

Cherechy:
I'm an Abuja girl through and through but not in the sense that it has been used throughout this thread. I have lived here 21 yrs and i know not every abuja chic is out for your money. I pity these men that come to abuja and think if they throw money around, chics will fall like flies. There are girls, then there are girls,

I recently escorted d secretary in our office to an INEC commissioners office in maitama. Mind u, i'm nt her friend, she recently got a new car, thanks 2 dis same commissioner, and being a learner needs someone in her passenger seat, cos of them VIO guys.
On getting there, despite d crowd waiting outside his office, he told his PA to bring us in. Lol.
Wen d man started eyeing me, n asking who i was, d chic i went with quickly told him 'this one is not like that, she's d bookish type'. Wow, i dnt want to tell u hw good i felt.

This chic i'm talking about has a well furnished apartment in Zone 6, uses two blackberry fones and recently got a car. What does she do? A secretary in a Law chamber.

Another day on a trip with her again, at d court of appeal car park, one mugu lawyer gave her a blackberry bold 2. Complete with d 80k receipt he bought it for, in d nylon bag.

As an aside, she usually tells me, that i'm wasting in abuja. Lol. And gives me gist of hw many of her friends she's hooked up wit big guys. Her clientele includes zenith bank managers, INEC comm, big lawyers etc. Does she evn have time to go to clubs n wiggle her backside? no. The new technique is, get a decent job, eg PA or secretary and then hook up with big men through d job.
Imagine d opportunity of meeting men as a secretary in a law chamber. Always filing this n that in court, serving court processes on large corporations n organisations, rich clients coming to d office etc

i'm not in anyway encouraging what she's doing but these girls abound in abj lots. But, not all abuja girls are like them. There r decent chics trying to ekk out a living, hopping green bus every evening and competing wit these same girls that storm abj in d name of NYSC thrice a year. Trying to manage on your salary and keep your head up. Not that u don't get these opportunities, but deciding to be firm in your principles.

BTW, our visit 2 d INEC comm's office ended wit him dashing us 20k for lunch. I remember her telling me on d ride back, that if he could dish out 20k just like that without knowing me, i could then imagine wat i'd benefit if i was bleeping d guy. Smh
even told me how he gave her 400k to make up d cash she had n get her car.

My being in abj this long has opened my eyes to a lot. And i tell u, half the guys here are jst pretenders. Probably have one rich friend, they all living off. Borrow his car, follow him to club and pretend it's your money that is being spent, take d chic to your friend's house, so she assumes it's urs, meanwhile that same guy is managing a one room apartment in one boysquarters in EFAB estate or asokoro or nyanya in filthy conditions.
The real abj guys with money dnt even have time for wat d poster here is narrating. And even if they do, they almost always have a steady girlfriend they cater for.
Those that go to club to spend money n pick girls in abuja are d ones just managing. Get money once in a while and club hop friday nyts lookimg for cheap lays. The girls in those club leave nyanya, mararaba, kubwa, deidei for maitama and asokoro weekends to seek men jst like d poster. They r abuja girls wannabe's. Dont let them spoil the good names some of us have tried hard to cultivate.
Well your thesis still point to the fact that most ABUJA GIRLS are money-conscious.

You may be one in a million.

why are you asking what he should do to his wife and inlaws? if something had to be done, he should have done it RIGHT THERE AND THEN in front of them all, not after running home like a biatch!
this man is a weakling, there is nothing he CAN do but to accept that his wife (and inlaws) have no respect for him . . . . . . . . .and it probably didnt start that day.

what the hell is he confused about?!
He cannot do anything at his in-law's place, because they have the upper-hand there, they can even beat him up. undecided undecided undecided

@poster

You friend should send her packing to her parents until they (wife and in-laws) apologies . If she really wants to stay in that marriage. If not she can go to hell.

Guy, most of this men are government official, politicians and business men.

Ordinary salary man cannot spend that kind money of consistently for one month, i tell you him go die finish.

But the irony of it is that most the runz girls are the most endangered species. Because most of these men use them for the rituals purpose not only for sex.

These men are not stupid they know how to DANGLE THE CARROT. And these foolish girls run after them.
