PoliticsRe: Probe PWC For Deceiving Nigerians, Hon. Adeola Tells Buhari by emmatok(m): 5:31pm On May 03, 2015
lekandauda1234:
Sorry, let me educate you. In the first place when the missing dollar crises blew open, the minister for finance promised us "forensic audit" of NNPC books. What most Nigeria expected is a thorugh look into of the books and its very baffling that a company of PWC status will allow themselves to be used to cover a grevious sleaze. Its God working for Nigeria that made GEJ lost the election, else they have fooled themselves that a forensic audit has been done. I need to ask you, to what accounting purpose would that review which PWC themselves has placed a disclaimer be put? Let us avoid commenting on issue with blind sentiment
Remember the same GEJ didn't release the full report until after elections.
In fact no body realize that disclaimer from the first report.

How do they select members of the finance committee of the House self? Adeola is clearly an 'illiterate' in this matter.
The government told us it was and audit and PWC didn't deny it.
Now the report finally came out and PWC I saying it wasn't an audit.
FamilyRe: Wife Insisted I Greet Her After She Have Given Me Food by emmatok(m): 1:39pm On May 03, 2015
kkboy:
In a typical African family setup there are roles for each person, the father, the mother and the children. These roles are ment to be appreciated by each party. But the idea of greeting tout wife after cooking and serving is allen to our culture and must be discouraged. Let's she will demand a thank you for sleeping with her and sooner then later add some monitory or other incentives to her expected role. We are ment to appreciate and not to great.(my opinion)
This has nothing to do with African, even educated whites don't say thank you every time they eat their wife's meal.

Abba, should they now be thanking each other for all their roles and responsibilities in the marriage

Marriage is not this legalistic.

If you expect every thing in Marriage to be black/white, then you're in for trouble.
FamilyRe: Wife Insisted I Greet Her After She Have Given Me Food by emmatok(m):
Billyonaire:
It is MANDATORY to tell your wife "Thank You", and if you forget to thank her, do apologize if she reminds you. The fact that you were not raised with that orientation does not mean it was right. You should learn the simple habits of courtesy, and make sure you pass that to your kids. My wife even makes me say thank you to the domestic staff when they present me anything and she also makes me add "Please" when asking anyone for anything. I accept these corrections and I have realized that life is more pleasant at home when I use more "Thank you" and "Please".
So marriage has now become legalistic that we have to apply rules for everything,
If you want thank you to feed your family, you should also thank him for banging you.
Hope she also thanked him for paying her bride price.
Marriage should be enjoyable .

Is it APC that dragged AIT to court?.....if its so....the court rulings will not favour APC.

My reason is clear and simple- AIT was doing business! And the information in the documentary were factual and not fictitious!

And to say the least, as far as am concerned, it was not to tarnish Buhari's image. It was just an eye opener like I have once said before on this platform.

APC is been apolitical about the matter! For me it holds no waters.

And for your information, I will not eat my words.....haba! My friend, when has mere words become food....hahahahaha!
If you know Nigerian history you won't say the documentary is factual.
Did Buhari killed Felas mother?
How many years did Buhari stayed in power.
PoliticsRe: Raymond Dokpesi To Buhari: Documentaries We Ran About You Were Factually Correct by emmatok(m): 6:52pm On May 02, 2015
bdidi:
AIT is an entity. A business entity. That has the statutory right to do business in Nigeria and to make profit. Having said that, AIT will not be that daft to have aired a false documentary because they are aware of the consequences. However, they must have done a due diligence on that documentary before bringing it up to the fore.

And mind you, it was not AIT that brought the documentary. Some concerned citizens may have done so which am very sure they must have paid for that time and space on AIT's network. So why will AIT not do business when it involves good money?

It was not to tarnish Buhari's image my friend. It was just an eye opener to us all especially to those who were not born then and to those who perhaps were not paying attention to Nigerian politics then. And most importantly, to Buhari himself reminding him that this is now democracy where the people rule under the rule of law and equity.
I hope you eat your words when the court give a ruling in favor of APC.
Remember Doyin and ABATI once apologies to Buhari after they were taking to court.

DAAR communications never new Buhari will win the elections, so they acted with impunity.

Early, the SW lost Speaker position, no thanks to Tinubu who used his ACN to ensure that Tambuwal from northwest emerged Speaker.

Subsequently, SW blackmailed Jonathan with all sorts of talks that Jonathan was marginalizing SW. From then Jonathan tried to placate the SW with goodies upon goodies even at the neglect of SS, even up till election time when Jonathan spread huge sums of money in the SW region for campaign. But at last, the SW made its allies and Jonathan lost in the SW, which led to his loss of the election.
The SW played their games well and it worked for them.

This is just the point and the bitter truth. Jonathan has been in power for 5 yrs now with almost nothing to show in the region. I still cannot believe that Jonathan could not build and finish Ibaka Seaport at Akwa Ibom and now he is about to leave. This is just astonishing!
Some people are just allergic to the truth.
While GEJ neglected the ND for 5 years, some state in the SW were busy building new airport and seaports.
Just see what is happening in Ogun state.

They were given contracts so as to placate the leaders.

It was cheaper to do that than to enforce proper Federalism.

Have you already forgotten the National Confab - Federalism was recommended, let us see if it is implemented by Buhari government.
Did the National Confab recommend resources control?

If GEJ could not develop his region for 5 years, are you gonna blame a northerner for ND neglect.

I repeat the millitants can burn down every thing, it's thier land.

A president cannot enforce legislation alone.

It has to go through the legislature.

True federalism does not benefit a segment of this country. We all know which part of the country that is.
But the same GEJ can sign billions of Naira for ND militants, forgetting the ND people.

The militants can blow up all the oil installation in ND it's their land.

But it won't bring Nigeria down.

MY PEOPLE, LISTEN TO WHAT I HAVE TO SAY........

STOP GIVING SOUTH AFRICA OR ANY COUNTRY THAT DECIDES TO HATE ON THIS COUNTRY UNNECESSARY ATTENTION.

Our attention, observations, analyses and recommendations are needed right here IN THE COUNTRY.
STOP WASTING IT OUTSIDE.

OKAY. NIGERIA DID NOT CONTRIBUTE IN ANY WAY TO THE FIGHT AGAINST APARTHEID. And so?

Does it make us any less a nation or is it going to affect our economy or make our roads not be built or create unemployment, or get you out of job, or make you not get visa to travel, or keep you unmarried, or deny you visa to travel, or make you not get that job, or buy that house?

Exactly what is it going to remove from our lives?

Nigeria has tried a lot for Africa. IT IS TIME WE CHANNEL OUR FULL ATTENTION, MONEY AND TALENTS TO DEVELOPING THE COUNTRY AND CHANGE OUR OWN LIVES.

I honestly do not see the reason why anyone will frown, or shout or even curse them. It takes nothing away from you.

FOCUS ON YOURSELF, QUIT ETHNIC BIGOTRY AND APPLAUDING OF HOOLIGANISM, AND LET'S SEND CROOKS TO WHERE THEY BELONG.

Nigeria must soar.
The Irony is that our leaders will be the ones taking the Nigerian looted money to SA.

Its the poor that makes noise in Nigeria, the rich simply go against the rules.

SirShymexx:
Before folks go on a rampage like blinkered oafs...I think Nigeria should provide solid proofs that it actually supported the anti-apartheid struggle overtly and adequately like all the country listed.

Nigeria is also not listed in all academic sources that I've read about the anti-apartheid struggle. Even Libya and Gaddafi, which appeared in most academic sources isn't on this list. So, whatever "help" they're alluding to here, might be different from whatever you think you gave.

Anyway, I know Nigeria did try to support to Angola during the bloody civil war in that country, against the West and Apartheid SA. But the man who was championing it, Murtala Muhammed, was assassinated before he started - and those who took over were CIA moles who never bothered after that. This one is well documented - but the South African one isn't in any academic source.

And if you want to allude to songs/speeches - a lot of African Americans, and blacks in the new world also did that. But they also didn't get any recognition. So, apply wisdom.
Let's say the truth, the support Nigeria gave SA during the crisis was covert. And were not internationlly recognized.

Remember the Nigeria military regime was not in good terms with the west, and the human rights activists were giving us bad image.

So our efforts were not properly documented.

I agree that what is happening in SA is genocide.
But calling South Africans lazy is an insult and its wrong.
SA belong first to the SA citizens and they can decide who they want in their country, and how they run their country.

Just this week thousands of African migrants died on their way to Europe. And the the European union are planning to control migrants from Africa.

Today the Europeans and South African are seeing other African migrants as a problem.

We Africans and our useless leaders are the only problem with Africa.

We Africans need to wake up.

What are you on about?
The SW is well represented in pressid.
And no, the SW does not have not the highest numbers of first class per capital.
In your SW schools, the SS and SE are well represented in like 40-50% of the total student population and then when you look at schools in the SS and SE , the number of yorubas there is not very encouraging.
The stats are very correct.
Where did get those from.
Is the SS/ SE one region?

You don't believe the assertion, at the same you are trying to argue for it.
You see how stupidd you are?
Btw, i didn't say there were no intelligent educated northerner.
The problem is that the bulk of the educated intelligent northerners are MOSTLY from elite families which is less than 2% of the total northern population.
You can't expect them to dominate PRESSID the way the SS or SE would.
The two regions with probably the highest educated persons per capital
.
Lol, So the SW the has the largest number of Universities can't produce first class graduates.
And the middle belters can't produce First class graduateds.

No wonder you people keep bringing up cooked up statistics about the SE/SS, becoming the most
educated region .

When you deliberately removed two-third of Nigeria from an important educational program.
