To be honest, initially, it was difficult bring myelf to say that Abacha never looted, as there was so much propaganda at home and abroad making him out to be the biggest and only looter in Nigeria.

Secondly because of Abacha apparent support of IBB in the coup that toppled Buhari I was convinced that he must have joined IBB in his looting frenzy; but the more I researched and looked into it, the more it became clear that he was doing his best for the country couldn't have looted. Also people who have seen Abacha's home in Kano have stated it was surprisingly small and modest.
