Good evening everyone.


I have struggled with sex addiction for the past 10 years with out permanent success especially with regards to visiting and sleeping with prostitutes and keeping my mind off sex.
Presently I cant seem to keep my mind of sex and focus on my life and career.

I have a good Job and a beautiful damsel whom i have promised marriage and I am afraid I might loose any if not both of this if I don't stop,think and act NOW.



Since is a habit I learnt over time, how do I unlearn this habit permanently.

Please has anyone been able to get over sex addiction successfully.


My recent relapse after 10 months of celibacy threw me off balance and presently I have lost touch with God, friends and family because of this demeaning lifestyle.


Today after 2 weeks of relapse and wallowing in self pity, I have decided to restart all over again with strong determination to take into consideration the lesson learnt from my last relapse as I plan to adopt a better approach to ensure I conquer this habit.

I have spoken with one of spiritual director who understands sex addiction above my expectations and he is very supportive.

I have also opened up to my younger Cousin brother who also understands what it feels to suffer addiction.

I also confessed to my lady about my relapse and strong determination to quit and she is helpful and supportive but with the condition that she may not cope if I should suffer another relapse.

My addiction and its resultant consequences have made close family and friends loose their respect and confidence in me.

Above all, i feel so separated by God who have done so much for me .

I want to pick my self up and fight because of

1.God
2.Myself
3. Family
4. My girl friend


At this point I need all the help I can get to snatch out my life out of satanic bait to ruin me forever


Any professional here can please save a frustrated brother. I have not give up.

I beg to disagree with you. Goodluck Jonathan did not do anything special, he got his behind whopped by the Nigerian Electorate, tired of him and his thieving Cabal, and he respectfully did the RIGHT thing by handing over to the Winner.

Calm the situation down and respect them because no matter how you look at it , you will be at the losing end.

They just wasted the guy. Hanging the policeman will not even eraze the memory.

Make it a simple habit.

1. When you approach a check point, lower your driver side glasses.

2. Lower or switch off your sound system. (I switch off AC too cos i can not expect some one in the sun to reason with me with my AC fully on)

3. Greet with a smile and ask how you may help them. Good afternoon Sir. How is work today ?
(I once told one Policeman how excited I was to see the check point on the road at that hour of the day cos it makes me feel safer on the road. He laughed loud and saluted screaming Carry On Sir. [This is some minute after 1am]. Of course, I was managing them. Excitement ko.)

4. At night, switch on your inner light once you are approaching a check point.

5. No point being aggressive no matter how placed you are in the society and make calling their superior the last option.

With the 5points above, + a smile, I disarm any policeman no matter how stupiid.

I wish us a safe 2016 and pray God will preserve our lives from the frustrated police men.

Oil will soon be of less importance and already bcoming devalued in the world and u're still here chanting ur oil. Infact the last time I checked southeast states are part of NDDC and they rotate the Md's from all the Niger Delta and Southeast because they all produce oil. As a matter of facts, oil has been discovered in some parts of yoruba and housa lands. I want to ask u a question, this YOUR OIL YOUR OIL u are shouting, how many southsouth or ijaw man in nigeria owns an oil block? Tell me? It is still your slave masters that come to ur so called land to haness it and use the resources to develop their land while ur so called land is left in abject mess. I work in the oil industry and will like u to knw that the industry is dominated by southwest, southeeast and north for nnpc. So why do u keep making noice. Let me tell u, if south south chose not to join biafra it is to their disadvantage. If oil bcomes conpletely irrelevant, the average ibo man will survive because that survival instinct is in the blood even to the children unborn. If biafra stands today, I bet u it will bcom the china of africa, they will forget oil and go into inventions. Its in them. because I work in the oil & gas, I have stayed in most nigerdelta region and u knw what? Ur pple are lazy to the teeth except a few. Their life is just all about drinking, clubing, sleeping in hotels and women. They just want to follow dat politician who will bring the loot so they can enjoy life. REMEMBER I SAID EXCEPT FOR A FEW. What am I saying, if oil is devalued which is already happening, them knw u're in big trouble because of laziness. Shld biafra eventually seceed, u will continue to be the slave of ur northern masters that will drill and drill and drill YOUR OIL and u'll continue to be comfortable in ur state of slavery. Biafra don't need u to survive but if perhaps u join biafra, u'll benefit from their creative and survival skills when the time comes. Mind u, I do not really advocate for naija to break up, my lovely wife is from delta urhobo, can't imagine coming to reality she's from another country but in all, may God's will for Nigeria be altimate.

Thank you so much for your comment. It is very possible that this happened, but it is more likely that the person in question was not seeking an entry-level position. That nothwithstanding, it is better to err on the side of caution. I have also read about someone who had been a Vice President at Goldman Sachs for over 14 years and had a CV of just 1 page.

If we truly need a change in this country, muslim-muslim/christian-christian combo shouldn't be a conflicting factor. Moreover, the high level of religion intorelance has affected us badly.
