Seriously am not interested in Igbo presidency. The guy will be frustrated out of office by other arms of government especially the legislature. All of them decamped and frustrated Jonathan and reassembled when his gone. Jonathan is not Igbo. I will vote for Atiku....2023 or 2031

Who cares about saving an almost sunk nation. It's better to move far from a sinking ship than try a rescue in the face of bitter neighbors.

If an Igbo man rules Nigeria for one year, the whole mess in Nigeria will be blamed on him for the next 100 years. The best bet for Igbo is not Nigerian presidency, but their own country.

Mery xmas and prosperous newyr

An average Igbo can never be satisfied.
A yoruba man becomes president and does the following, see how an average Igbo reacts to every appointment he makes:
1. The man appoints his cabinet full of Igbos
Igbos react: They know they can't do without us, that's why they don't want to give us Biafra undecided
2. The man appoints his cabinet full of Yorubas
Igbos react: The president is a typical Yoruba tribalist, he hates anything Igbo
3. The man appoints his cabinet full of Hausas
Igbos react: The president is a slave trying to please his slave masters from the north
4. The man appoints his cabinet full of S'South
Igbos react: The president is trying to pitch the SE against the SS, he can't divide us
5. The man appoints his cabinet in fairness to every region
Igbos react: The president is a typical Yoruba coward, he can't even favour the South more than other regions because of fear of backlash from the north
Which way Igbos, who carry hatred do una?
You no get work

. No one knows tomorrow.
That adge is superficial and incomplete. If Jonathan didn't start the work will Buhari look commission it today? Who will complete his work tomorrow ?

Not possible...UNLESS...

1.We build four new refineries...plus Dangote

2.We build a host of new refineries...modular refieneries.

3.We remove subsidy....for a few years...prices stay around N250-400...then as more investment flows in, and facilities improve.(AND government allows more players into the downstream sector)...prices would eventually reach N150.

4.Oilprices go up...and knock the value of the naira higher.(more dollars to buffer the naira).

Actually our economy is bad which affected the exchange rate negatively. The average pump price around the world based on little research conducted is 1.11usd. So without subsidies if PMS will reasonably priced at #250 against #400 then is ok. But still people will share the same subsidy money to the expense of the citizens. I hope dollar rate rate drop either by change of government or economic reformation of the existing system.

theoldpretender:

Only way an investor is going to come in (good comment by the way) is if subsidy is remooved...meaning that investors can come in, refine fuel and sell at their price...not at government price(which wouldforcethem to sell at a loss).

But subsidy removal means high prices (as high as N250-300). Nigerians won't like that.
What then is the possibility of #150 pump price and upgraded refineries?

theoldpretender:

Even if all our refineries are working...we would still need to import because the last one was opened in 1988....when our fuel needs were far less than they are now.

And someone estimated we would need to import fuel as much as 50million liters per day even when refinereis work.

Dangote.?....Dangote is coming on stream at quarter capacity....and is set to reach half capacity by 2030...so dont rely on Dangote.

Only way we can build more refineries....now that we are not earning enough from oil....is to remove fuel subsidy which means high prices of N250 or more for petrol...but more investors come in.
They should allow investors to come in and expand our refineries to production capacity that can meet up with the demands of our population

If the federal government cannot finance the refineries they go into contracts with Chinese and solve this once and for all.

Let's bring it down to the Nigerian context;

UK = Southeast Nigeria
EU = Federal Government of Nigeria

1. The EU leaders would have deployed military men to the UK borders with guns in their hands, killing everyone trying to break out of the EU.

2. The EU leaders will be screaming the unity of the EU is not negotiable

3. The UK will be divided and polarized under the strong EU control

I hope Nigerians will learn sense someday and realize that being together is not by force.

This country still have existing and working constitution. Saraki is not wanted by police or any related agency. PDP should stop raising unnecessary alarm. APC need 2/3 of the members of national assembly to impeach or remove saraki which is practically impossible as far as Nigeria is consign.

Politics / My Assessment Of Vice Presidential Candidate Performance Based On Debate by emmie14: 7:30am On Dec 17, 2018
My assessment of the vice-presidential candidates and the office they're best suited for based on their performance in the debate are as follows;

● Abdulganiyu Galadima of the ACPN should be elected vice-president of National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW).

●Umma Gatso of the YPP should be elected vice-president National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN).

●Khadija Abdullahi-Iya of the ANN should be elected vice-president National Council for Women Society (NCWS).

●Vice-president Yemi Osinbajo of the APC should be elected vice-president of English Grammar Teachers Association of Nigeria (EGTAN).

●Peter Obi of the PDP should be elected vice-president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (FRN).
