Hello weather is cold even more than what people are saying I almost died with my mumu Nigerian jacket not until i got another thick one but with time the weather became friendly.

Weather is cold not the way people are thinking , with normal warm jacket and warm shoes no problem , you are not homeless so weather is not a problem in Siberia region , Siberia is more like a virgin region for foreigners , stable good reputation , no any messed up attitudes like the way blacks already messed up Moscow ...

Siberia region , Depends on what you want to study .. but for low cost lifestyle , food , transportations .. Siberia region is the cheapest region for now in Russia .. example metro in Moscow cost 65 rubles , Petersburg 45, while in Siberia it cost 22 rubles same with d buses ..so if u want to study in Moscow and no jobs , na die u Dey Be dat because Moscow is expensive , peters okay but transport 45rubles.. Siberia is the best ...teaching English language in Siberia region if you English accent is okay na sure banker ...3 direct baba ijebu , but Moscow and peters competition is high , na those French African countries get Moscow and peters , those Congo , Cameroon , Senegal .. etc

The fact is Russia is a very beautiful country
Education is cheap
Cost of living in cities apart from Moscow and Saint Petersburg are very cheap


I will tell you everything is working in Russia, there economy is good, Russians don’t like stress i cannot say they are lazy but some are you can walk from street A to B and get drunk because mostly everyone has vodka during winter because of the cold


Did I mentioned that Russians love blacks hair? Come and see how they were playing with our hair


If anyone says Russia is bad or a racist country i will curse such a person

OK...this should be my first comment on nairaland though. While following this discussion, I decided to comment. I have been to Russia...in fact came back in 2018. I went for studies on Russia government scholarship. My experience from the POE was very very bad even though I was on scholarship and even my flight was paid for by Russia govt. and I was a lecturer in Nigeria too. I have bitter and sweet memories of that place and when my studies ended I couldn't wait to return back to Nigeria. Some of the things said about Russia being a useless place are very true
