Lexusgs430: The only vehicle to withstand Nigerian roads effectively is an armoured tank, all other vehicles suv's,saloons etc etc etc are just managing or do I state coping till there shocks and chassis begin to judder!!!Come to think of it, yeah does not sound bad y know. |
salaksmana: Who employed the judge? This is Nigeria they should learn to live with that, the last time I checked Unilag's name wasn't the 1st to be change, the name changes nothing so it shouldn't cause any wahala now. They're embarking on a WILD GOOSE CHASEit is not a question of who employed the Judge. Let us not condone such mentality. There are fearless Judges who who abound in the judiciary and would interprete the law strictly as it is, no matter whose ox is gored. Why not lets watch and see what happens before we rush to conclusions? |
Beaf: The University of Lagos Act is from 1967. I do not see its use in any law court; uni's are now regulated by the National Universities Commission.u are very wrong bro. U are not a lawyer and displayed ur ignorance of d issue here. That an Act was made in 1967 does not make it obsolate before a court of Law. |
Well STV just confirmed this sad news. May his soul rest in peace. He was Nigeria's most lethal striker till date. |

@IbrahimB==yeah right-JONNY AKPOBORIE, JAMES OBIORA AND KARIBE OJIGWE. Those boys never really fulfilled their potentials in the senior National team what about Andrew Aigkuomogbe-used to be a great keeper for the u17 back then |
@ hugooh42- Just to update u, Siasia, Amokachi, Eguavoen and Oliseh all have UEFA B coaching licences (there might be other ex-internationals who possess it including Keshi perhaps). So they did not just wake up and brand themselves coaches.they prepared for it.Right now Eguavoen is in Holland doing a course. He has been there before the world cup, interrupted it and has gone back to finish up. Siasia remains obvious choice because a man who reaches the finals of the u-20 & u23 couldn't have been gambling. It shows he has stuff upstairs. We would only wish the NFF would allow him ample time to groom a team as the SE is a different ball game. Westerhof took years to prepare the USA 94 team.It didnt just happen out of the blues. Cheers man. |
yeah, we'll soon hear about budgetary allocations for hair cuts, saloon etc;. ![]() |
What exactly is this Becomerich talking about? You are versed in International Law and you go about this way? I very much doubt it man, |
make the FBIR move in and tax them since they now generate "revenue". |
@ Becomerich-Ibori commited a crime in the UK and just as has been clarified by other posters here, the evidence is in the UK, the courts to try him are in the UK, Nigeria has an extradition treaty with the UK I believe, Nigeria is signatory to several international conventions and should not shield any of its citizens (no matter how highly or lowly placed) who has committed a crime in foreign land and is wanted there. Let Ibori go to the UK and face the music! There is no witch hunting involved please. |
Definitely not. Its just typical of the Nigeria Police/EFCC to attempt to arrest by proxy. If true, I'm surprised the EFCC which is staffed by competent legal personnel would approve of such move. What might have happened is that the wife must have been invited to throw more light on the whereabouts of her husband because it is expected that she should know, being the wife and supposedly closest person to him. Immediately after that, she should be allowed to go home and not to be detained. |
Just to correct my self: "With respect to the gist that the coke beat German security, it may NOT be entirely so, " sorry for the error there |
With respect to the gist that the coke beat German security, it may be entirely so.Such quantity of drug would definitely have been tracked globally until it arrives its final destination. the Germans would deliberately allow it sail through, since its headed for Nigeria, its supposed final destination. That's the only way the "owners" can be caught! if the consignment was intercepted in Germany, the owners here in 9ja would simply have disappeared without trace. kudos to NDLEA all the same. |
I honestly do not see how the National Assembly would pass a law that would permit the police "take on the spot action"/ It runs contrary to the tenets of justice and CANNOT work. |
All these billions to be spent on defence contracts when man no see food chop? PHCN is comatose, roads, health and education are in terrible shape nation wide and we want to fritter away precious funds on the military when we are not at war? Even the police needs funding more than the military. |
