In spite of the order given by CBN on POS charges, the Road Side POS Terminal operators still take 30% or more as charges for cash withdrawals.

The CBN should as a matter of urgency approach this matter sternly by making cash available at commercial banks and also asking the staff of these banks desist from owning POS terminals for cash-in, cash-out transactions.

The masses are being exploited by these POS operators who take advantage of the present cash crunch to inflict untold hardship on the common man.

This evil practice must stop!

Let me educate you because I 'm a POS operator.
The charges is higher because the cash is not available at the banks.The banks have no money so some of smart pos agent go out to other places where cash are normally available and buy the cash you see them vend.

We normally buy 100K cash for 115K transfer at slaughter,fish cold , pharmacy or petrol station then you expect him or her after buying those money they should return to their shop to do it for you cheap or less than how they are bought
That is not going to happen.

When there was availability of cash pos operator was doing N5000, for N100.

Instead of challenging the CBN to release money in supply you are crying that pos charges should reduce.

Go out and see how many pos have folded up because of cash scarcity.
