New one year contract for Giggs till 2013. Giggs no go retire till he forced to. I can't blame him cos when Scholes can come off his couch after months and still command and control our midfield easily, how will he feel like quitting while he still has more assists than our other midfielders. While it is testament to his longevity and productivity, it is also an indictment of d other players. Signings or not, if Carrick had stepped up and been a consistent midfield general not just a reliable player, if d likes of Ando, Fletcher, Gibson e.t.c showed consistency and quality Giggs would have quit realizing he would be playing reserve footy to keep match fit and Scholes would have comeback if at all, to mostly to fill a squad position.

I have been on a research to find out the reasons why Fergie has refused to blood the young goons in

I coulda sworn I gave him kudos for anticipating the flight of the ball. . . I don't know why more goalies don't take the gamble when they know from that distance the kicker will go for the near-post 90% of the time.

Nothing special about the save per se, De Gea had already ANTICIPATED were Mata would place it.

Look at the second gif, he's almost in the middle of the goal by the time Mata strikes the ball instead of covering the other side of the wall.

Kudos to him for his anticipation, though if Mata had gone far-post he coulda ended up red-faced.

My only regret is that this is not enough to convince Starboard that DDG is good enough
