Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has described as unfortunate the false Information being circulated that the State Government demolished a Mosque in Port Harcourt, saying that the false report was planted by mischief makers to create disaffection.

Addressing journalists at the location on Biambo Street Off, School Road by Mami Market Junction, near Rainbow Estate on Monday., Governor Wike said there was no Mosque on ground, hence nothing was demolished.

He said: "I received calls from several prominent Nigerians 8on the fake news being circulated online. I have come here with Reporters and you can see there was no Mosque here. "It is most unfortunate that fickle minded persons will claim that a Mosque was demolished at this place, when no Mosque existed here. The story was concocted by mischief makers to score cheap points".

Governor Wike explained that some persons started erecting illegal foundation at the disputed land, even though they had no approval to embark on any construction work. "They came here to erect illegal structure. There was no approval from the State Government for any structure to be erected here.

"The persons who started the foundation had already dragged the State Government to court on the disputed land. The Rivers State Government won the case. What they attempted to do was to start the illegal construction to tie the hands of the State Government ", he said.
The Governor urged the Muslim Community in Rivers State to show him where a Mosque was demolished in the State. He advised them not to allow themselves to be used by politicians to peddle false stories against the Rivers State Government.. Governor Wike said that the State Government operates within the rule of law. He said that the State Government will not be distracted by the illegal circulation of fake reports.

He stated that several Mosques constructed on the approval of the State Government exist across Port Harcourt and other major towns of Rivers State, without the State Government demolishing them. "The government gave them notice not to do anything on.

But they went ahead with the illegal foundation and the relevant agency stopped them.

"Why would want to bring down any Mosque , when there are other Mosques across the State? What is the Special interest on this one?.

Salam alaykum brothers, I just had an experience which is making me feel bad. I wanted to get my first meal of the day when I was accosted by an area boy who held my hand and asked me to give me money. I told him I have no money with me knowing what he was up to. He asked what he should do if he searched me and he ends up finding money. If not for a man who came to my rescue he would have made away with all the money with me and likely injuring me. I could not confront him because he was taller and many of his fellow area boys were around.

My question is there a dua to prevent and destroy anybody trying to physically assault you when you encounter this kind of situation. I only know of duas for spiritual attack(correct me if I am wrong)

My question may seem somehow but anyone who has been physically assaulted or oppressed will relate with me .

Zakir Naik was here defending himself from all the allegation brought against him; he was not on the law court. He should rather go back to his home country, India, and defend himself if he is not a coward. Mohammed was also prosecuted in India (mecca) and he ran to Malaysia (Medina) where he formed a large army and came back to reconquer India (Mecca). Nothing is stoppin Zakir Naik from forming a large army in Malaysia to come back and conquer India and impose Islam on all of them.

The guy Empire is pathetic and almost beyond redemption. How can one look away from Muslims' persecution of others and cry over muslims being persecuted; this is ridiculous. When one compares India with Pakistan, India is treating her muslim minority 1000times than Pakistan treating her Hindu or christian minority. We have thousands of muslims in Indian crikets teams, Bollywood movies and in politics. We have almost zero hindu politician in pakistan and no hindu cricket player in pakistani national team. In 1946 the muslims in India said they cannot exist together in an independent india where hindus are the majority hence a separate country was created for Muslims out of India called PAKISTAN (meaning pure land because the muslims consider the hindus as impure). The muslims in india are given free hands to live a normal live while the hindus are exterminated in pakistan. Part of the free hand the hindus gave india muslims gave birth to Zakir Naik who grew up, in India, and started bashing the hindu-majority India 24/7. You can imagine a christian in pakistan bashing the muslims, head will rolls and blood will flow.

Let us come down to Nigeria. The Igbos are calling for an Independet state of Biafra. Let assume that the Igbos are granted Biafra. The Yorubas do not travel to Igbo land but the Igbos will come to Lagos, after being granted Biafra, to bash and insult Yoruba people. What do you think the Yoruba people will do, keep quiet and become 'mumu'? No. They will react. This is exactly what the Hindus are doing right now after over 70 years of tolerance. Muslims should oppressing other people so that no one will have any need to oppress muslims.
