He actually became more popular immediately after his demise, especially because of his eloquence and authoritative statement concerning wilaya. No Alfa or few Alfa had openly proclaim that before him, and also make it more accessible or feasible to young people to aspire to be wail, like he did. Some of his other sermon I later listened to was superb, he indeed has gift of commindication.
as I dey read this my eyes filled with tears. I didn't hear about him before I went to ilorin in late 1998. I didn't listen to any tape throughout my stay there but heard from people especially my friend, Alfa Hakeem. He used to say "oju ju oju lo". "Eniti o ba fe yi kadara re da yo yi lori". He credited the statement to sheikh Sazili (ra). I didn't quite get what he was saying until now. Indeed, he's more popular after his demise.

You just watched it recently wow?
wallah just watched it this month for the first time but I have watched (listened) to YouTube audio of the same footage and I have been asking people to upload the actually footage because I'm inspired at the moment he said "marihabambikum Alan wasalam". He wiped tears as indication of knowing and seeing something. In my opinion he was aware of his demise looking at that footage.

He died shortly afterward of that video. It was a naming ceremony which the father of the child- Farul Ulama decided to name the boy after him-Sashili. So he died around 98 at prime age of something close to 40yrs. Though I didn't know the exact yr.
I see many got hurt by his demise especially sheikh nda solati. I watched his firdaus where nda solati cried. They were so close. I seen sheikh nda solati once or twice at masjid dedicated to sheikh Sazili (ra) at Ayetoro near Gari Alimi road.

No doubt he has reached some level in wilaya, so much so that he's sure of what he is seeing or saying. Perhaps may his frequent seeing of those spiritual beings also signal he's nearing his end. May Allah forgive him and have mercy on his SOUL and other Muslims. Amin. He was rare bred!
Ameena. ilorin should have created online profiles for these Alfas and their books because many today think that the only correct Islam is anything you hear from Saudi shuyukh and they look down on their own.

Wow! This is one of the first inspirational video I watched back then. It had a very tremendous effect on my psyche then, so much that I have to carry out the zikr formula Sheikh Zashili (ra)mentioned in that sermon.

21yrs ago, how time flies! He died barely a week or month after that video I think. Pls what about the second part of the video, where he discussed about wali? Pls kindly upload the link.
You are welcome back, alfa.

See that video you just commented on, i just watched the actually video at the time i posted it yesterday. I only listened to audio post by a NL member few yrs ago. I have been longing for actual video. You can see he cried in the clip. For clarification purposes, he died in 96 or 98?. My friend when i was in ilorin in 1998 told me he died in 96 at the age 36 but i later found out his report was not credible. 98 was not plausible at the age of 46/48 if i am right?. Now that i watched the actual footage, i feel bad and feel inspirational as well. I had to record the audio for 18 mins. The dhikr lasted 18 minutes and i listened to it back and forth to work until I lost the phone. The man was definitely seeing something we cannot see. This confirms what i was saying that seeing ruhanuyun or malaikat is like getting close to grave. wallah alam. The man really closed to Allah faah

Remembering Civil Rights Giant Malcolm X 50 Years After His Assassination

The controversial activist, who inspired many and infuriated others, was gunned down Feb. 21, 1965, at the Audubon Ballroom in Washington Heights

Malcolm X remains a polarizing figure 50 years after he was assassinated.

Harlem was ready to explode.

It was just before midnight on April 26, 1957, and at least 4,000 protesters were massed outside the 28th Precinct stationhouse on Eighth Ave.

Hours earlier, 32-year-old Johnson Hinton and two friends had been walking along W. 125th St. when they spotted two cops beating another black man with nightsticks.

“You’re not in Alabama!” yelled Hinton and his pals. “This is New York!”

The officers turned their nightsticks on Hinton, a member of the Nation of Islam, delivering several crushing blows to his head and face.\

Hinton, despite suffering lacerations on his scalp and bleeding on the brain, was now being held inside the four-story, red-brick 28th Precinct police station.

The crowd was growing impatient. A race riot seemed imminent.

A ripple of excitement swept through the crush of people when a 6-foot-3 man in a black suit and spectacles showed up and strode inside the station-house. The demonstrators, many of whom were Nation of Islam members, knew exactly who he was.

Malcolm X.

The fiery head of the Nation’s new Harlem mosque, Malcolm was allowed to see Hinton. But the cops refused to return the battered man to the hospital.

Malcolm, sensing an impasse, stepped outside the stationhouse and flashed a hand signal to his Nation of Islam followers. They immediately started marching off — silent and stern — like an Army battalion having just received orders from their general.

The rest of the crowd followed.

A group of NYPD cops watched the scene in awe.

“No one man should have that much power,” one officer told Amsterdam News editor James Hicks.

Hinton was released in the morning — after the Nation paid his $2,500 bail — and taken to Harlem Hospital.

The striking show of force introduced the nation to Malcolm X.

Incendiary, influential and often polarizing, Malcolm led the black nationalist movement with a clenched fist and biting tongue.

His rejection of integration and insistence on black liberation “by any means necessary” made him a hero to large swaths of black people.

To many others, he was seen as a villain and a menace. The militant, anti-establishment rhetoric Malcolm preached sent shivers of fear down the spines of many whites and alarmed some African-Americans.

STATEMENT BY THE APC UK LEADER AND CONVENER OF PMB VOLUNTEERS, PRINCE ADE OMOLE, AT A WORLD PRESS CONFERENCE HELD IN LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM.

Ladies and Gentlemen of the Press.

I am compelled to call this Press Conference due to our serious concerns about the latest development in our dear country of origin Nigeria.

1. Our concerns bother on the attitude and disposition of few western countries to Nigeria as seen in their open support for a candidate in an election where Nigerians are expected to choose their leader freely through balloting.

2. It is very clear to all stakeholders that the Western world, most especially the United States of America and the United Kingdom are supporting the candidate of the opposition party Mr Atiku Abubakar against President Muhammadu Buhari.

3. As Nigerians living in the United Kingdom, we consider it imperative to shed light on the situation in Nigeria and why we consider the systemic support of the UK government to the opposition party’s candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, unhelpful and dangerous.

4. Nigeria has been bedevilled by corruption since the return to democratic rule in 1999.

5. The country earned a staggering sum of over $1 trillion dollars from oil in the past two decades but has nothing to show for it. The money was simply stolen by the ruling elite.

6. A former British Prime Minister, David Cameron, once described Nigeria as a “fantastically corrupt" country.

7. Atiku Abubakar was Vice President of Nigeria in 8 out of the 20 years.

8. In that period he (Atiku) constitutionally superintended over the economy and privatisation programme of the government. In other words he was in charge of the first 8 years of the malfeasance.

9. Atiku Abubakar has been named and linked to multiple corruption cases in Nigeria and in the United States.

10. A few weeks ago he was described by The Guardian International Newspaper as an "established thief”, while the Bloomberg called him a “kleptocrat”.

11. Atiku has prominently featured in the corruption trial of former U.S. Congressman William Jefferson, Jefferson was accused of offering bribe to Atiku to use his position as a vice president to facilitate the expansion of his technology business in Nigeria. Jefferson was convicted in the US in 2009 and sentenced to 13 years in prison.

12. In another case, a U.S. Senate Subcommittee with the cooperation of the FBI, alleged that Atiku’s wife Jennifer, helped him transfer more than $40 million in “suspect funds” into the United States from offshore shell companies to establish a University.

13. Almost $2 million of that money were bribes paid by the German technology company Siemens AG, according to Senate investigators. Siemens pleaded guilty to bribery charges in 2008 and agreed to pay a $1.6 billion fine.

14. We need to remind the UK and the entire world that the candidate of the opposition party Mr Atiku Abubakar was banned from entering the United States for over a decade after he featured prominently in two corruption cases. The ban became an albatross for his Presidential campaign.

15. However in a dramatic twist of events he was recently let into the US for two to three days, in a suspicious manner, after paying millions of dollars to a lobbying firm with a strong link to USA President Donald Trump. This seems to reinforce the belief that there is a tactical support from leading western governments.

16. Let us remind ourselves that the Guardian Newspaper once reported that “Britain is a key destination for corrupt officials’ ill-gotten wealth".

17. In 2016, President Buhari’s anti-corruption chief said $37bn of stolen money had been routed through London in two years.

18. We are concerned that the support of the UK and others seem to be confirming this key allegation against the UK and in supporting such a candidate and wanting to tilt the election in favour of such a shady and corrupt individual; it negates the very principles of democracy and good governance. This is unacceptable.

19. The swift development witnessed in the infrastructure of the country, a much needed foundation for the rapid development of the country, will be truncated if Atiku comes to power as he has proudly vouched to share the country’s wealth amongst his friends and cronies. This was what he did between 1999 and 2007 as Vice President who was constitutionally empowered to superintend over the economy.

20. President Buhari’s achievements in the area of graft-fighting are monumental. Under President Buhari, two former governors have been convicted and currently serving time in prison while several millions of Naira have been recovered and numerous properties confiscated. For the first time in Nigeria, recoveries from looters form part of the national budget revenue for 2019. Likewise, the anti-corruption agency, EFCC has prosecuted and won over 800 cases since the inception of the APC-led administration. Atiku has promised to reverse the trend by granting amnesty to corrupt individuals and officials. He will simply release those governors and convicted criminals from jail and re-energise corruption in Nigeria.

21. Finally, we understand the right of the UK to support any candidate of their choice, but we want to remind them that Nigeria is a sovereign country and with sovereign integrity. The election of leaders in Nigeria should be left in the hands of Nigerians.

Thank you.

As i said before, i wont engage in endless argument when i know for a fact that you already made up you mind. But deep down you know that you are deceiving yourselves. You may brag all you want now but my posts here are meant to admonish you that it is never too late. You may brag all you want that God doesn't exist and all that bcus you can not see Him. Your case is like that of astronaut who went up there and after a while he wrote from there that God doesnt exist bcus he can not see Him. What he doesnt realize is that he is up there on oxygen. The moment the oxygen runs out before completes his mission, then he would realize existence of God. It is easy for you two to brag all you want but when appointed times comes, you just gonna feel sorry for yourselves. Learn lesson from Ali Banat. When his death was nigh, he realized he had been using natural oxygen for free all his 36 years on earth. But humans (doctors) charged him for oxygen to stay alive and only then he realized he had taken God for granted for far too long. His wealth could not avail him from death. May Allah have mercy on his soul. So continue ranting. If Allah so loves you, He may create situation for you to reflect and return to Him(belief) before you return to Him.

Why would Allah favor an unbeliever and let a believer die, or why would Allah favor some unbelievers and not others? Unbelievers die everyday. If I die tomorrow now, your narrative will change.

The problem I have with you people and your gods is this enter your grave statement. Is your God the God of the dead or the God of the graveyard? Why must it be only when we die that we will see him? Isn't Allah the one who created reality? Why is he so scared of reality? Why must we die before we see him/her/it/them.
Even a great Judeo/christian anti-islam california based radio talk-host personality, Michael Savage ones said "it makes sense that we dont see God. If he shows Himself and the moment disbelievers see Him, the next thing they say is, 'seen, next'".

If we are evidence of this Allah as you opined earlier, why is this Allah not a reality like us? Nobody is arguing with you, we're done arguing these things, you just have to defend that which you believe, or won't you? You have not shown a single evidence, you're only making claims and cannot defend the questions that arose as a result of your claims. You don't know what evidence is? I don't think I woke up this morning by my might, I know I did. Your Allah did not wake me up. If the job of Allah is to be waking people up, then he is wicked for not waking other people up this morning. You don't know what you paint your God as when you attribute these silly things to him. A child with a hole in his heart died few days ago, why would Allah wake up an old man and let a child who just started life die? Besides can't this your Allah preserve them both. You seem to be oblivious of how and why people die, that's why you think your fantasy character is responsible for death.
Defend myself against you?. Hell, no. I m never gonna be defensive. See highlighted?. Thats exactly what it means by zulm (injustice to oneself) and denial of Allah's favor on you.Everything else you said is irrelevant bcus that's your level of irrational faculty. I need not waste my time on that

If we waking up and bla bla bla is the evidence that Allah exists according to your reasoning, then other people not waking up is also the evidence that Allah does not exist.

That we wake up is not evidence of any deity, Allah included. You really need to think deeply and desist from fallacy. Allah should do himself a favor and stop hiding. He has been dumb since the 7th century. He should do himself a favor and talk.

I am not disappointed at all by your responses. Why are you in hurry?. Why don't you wait until you enter your grave, then you will see what's up. I'm not here to argue. I already knew that no matter evidences shown to you they fall in your deaf ears. Do you think you woke up this morning all by your might?. Will you not think?. Kufar ko, Kepler ni. cheesy
Kufr(disbelief), is not all about worship deities other than God. Kufr also means denying Allah's Favors on you. You wake up everyday and go to your various businesses and other activities while there are many out there who slept last night like you but they did not wake up in the morning. Instead they wake up in their graves. A lot more people also slept last night and woke up this morning but they can not move, they can not speak. They are numb from waist down with or without any medical explanation, yet they are breathing and or talking or not talking. This alone is enough for you to appreciate Power of Supreme Being who created you from nothing.

But instead you make kufr to Him by denying His favors on you. You may say "but i ate last night and i have energy or appetite to be up today. I achieved this and that using my brain bla bla bla". You forget that He gave you food and brain you use. If He didnt give you brain you can not use it. Evidences of God existence abound in you not tafsir. With all been said, which of the favours of your Lord will you deny?
IslamRe: The True Muslims? by Empiree: 9:00pm On Feb 16, 2019

and your argument with these two kufar resembles average mainstream argument that you have rebuked time and again. Anyways, i commend your input but know that these kufar have mission, especially this kafir Akin. The way he sounds suggests exactly what Quran says that they will not be pleased with you. Q2:120. The only time he feels comfortable behind his pc is when you can't provide proofs he needed.

So i am just wondering you now believe there is punishment for evildoers unlike few years ago you said once someone dies, nothing is going on in the grave or afterlife if i am correct?.
